46:21
۞وَٱذۡكُرۡ
wa-udh'kur
And mention
أَخَا
akha
(the) brother
عَادٍ
adin
(of) Aad
إِذۡ
idh
when
أَنذَرَ
andhara
he warned
قَوۡمَهُۥ
qawmahu
his people
بِٱلۡأَحۡقَافِ
bil-ahqafi
in the Al-Ahqaf
وَقَدۡ
waqad
and had already passed away
خَلَتِ
khalati
and had already passed away
ٱلنُّذُرُ
al-nudhuru
[the] warners
مِنۢ
min
before him
بَيۡنِ
bayni
before him
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
before him
وَمِنۡ
wamin
and after him
خَلۡفِهِۦٓ
khalfihi
and after him
أَلَّا
alla
That not
تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ
ta'budu
you worship
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَخَافُ
akhafu
[I] fear
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
for you
عَذَابَ
adhaba
a punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of) a Day
عَظِيمٖ
azimin
Great
٢١
46:22
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
أَجِئۡتَنَا
aji'tana
Have you come to us
لِتَأۡفِكَنَا
litafikana
to turn us away
عَنۡ
an
from
ءَالِهَتِنَا
alihatina
our gods
فَأۡتِنَا
fatina
Then bring us
بِمَا
bima
what
تَعِدُنَآ
ta'iduna
you threaten us
إِن
in
if
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ
al-sadiqina
the truthful
٢٢
46:23
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
ٱلۡعِلۡمُ
al-'il'mu
the knowledge
عِندَ
inda
(is) with Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(is) with Allah
وَأُبَلِّغُكُم
wa-uballighukum
and I convey to you
مَّآ
ma
what
أُرۡسِلۡتُ
ur'sil'tu
I am sent
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
وَلَٰكِنِّيٓ
walakinni
but
أَرَىٰكُمۡ
arakum
I see you
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
تَجۡهَلُونَ
tajhaluna
ignorant
٢٣
46:24
فَلَمَّا
falamma
Then when
رَأَوۡهُ
ra-awhu
they saw it
عَارِضٗا
aridan
(as) a cloud
مُّسۡتَقۡبِلَ
mus'taqbila
approaching
أَوۡدِيَتِهِمۡ
awdiyatihim
their valleys
قَالُواْ
qalu
they said
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
عَارِضٞ
aridun
(is) a cloud
مُّمۡطِرُنَاۚ
mum'tiruna
bringing us rain
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
it
مَا
ma
(is) what
ٱسۡتَعۡجَلۡتُم
is'ta'jaltum
you were asking it to be hastened
بِهِۦۖ
bihi
you were asking it to be hastened
رِيحٞ
rihun
a wind
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٢٤
46:25
تُدَمِّرُ
tudammiru
Destroying
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءِۭ
shayin
thing
بِأَمۡرِ
bi-amri
by (the) command
رَبِّهَا
rabbiha
(of) its Lord
فَأَصۡبَحُواْ
fa-asbahu
Then they became (such)
لَا
la
not
يُرَىٰٓ
yura
is seen
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَسَٰكِنُهُمۡۚ
masakinuhum
their dwellings
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
نَجۡزِي
najzi
We recompense
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
al-muj'rimina
[the] criminals
٢٥
46:26
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
مَكَّنَّٰهُمۡ
makkannahum
We had established them
فِيمَآ
fima
in what
إِن
in
not
مَّكَّنَّٰكُمۡ
makkannakum
We have established you
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
and We made
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
سَمۡعٗا
sam'an
hearing
وَأَبۡصَٰرٗا
wa-absaran
and vision
وَأَفۡـِٔدَةٗ
wa-afidatan
and hearts
فَمَآ
fama
But not
أَغۡنَىٰ
aghna
availed
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
them
سَمۡعُهُمۡ
sam'uhum
their hearing
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَبۡصَٰرُهُمۡ
absaruhum
their vision
وَلَآ
wala
and not
أَفۡـِٔدَتُهُم
afidatuhum
their hearts
مِّن
min
any
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
إِذۡ
idh
when
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
يَجۡحَدُونَ
yajhaduna
rejecting
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
(the) Signs
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَحَاقَ
wahaqa
and enveloped
بِهِم
bihim
them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used to
بِهِۦ
bihi
[at it]
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
yastahziuna
ridicule
٢٦
46:27
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
ahlakna
We destroyed
مَا
ma
what
حَوۡلَكُم
hawlakum
surrounds you
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡقُرَىٰ
al-qura
the towns
وَصَرَّفۡنَا
wasarrafna
and We have diversified
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
al-ayati
the Signs
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
that they may
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarji'una
return
٢٧
46:28
فَلَوۡلَا
falawla
Then why (did) not
نَصَرَهُمُ
nasarahumu
help them
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
ٱتَّخَذُواْ
ittakhadhu
they had taken
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
قُرۡبَانًا
qur'banan
gods as a way of approach
ءَالِهَةَۢۖ
alihatan
gods as a way of approach
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
ضَلُّواْ
dallu
they were lost
عَنۡهُمۡۚ
anhum
from them
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhalika
And that
إِفۡكُهُمۡ
if'kuhum
(was) their falsehood
وَمَا
wama
and what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
inventing
٢٨

46:29
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
صَرَفۡنَآ
sarafna
We directed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
نَفَرٗا
nafaran
a party
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡجِنِّ
al-jini
the jinn
يَسۡتَمِعُونَ
yastami'una
listening
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
(to) the Quran
فَلَمَّا
falamma
And when
حَضَرُوهُ
hadaruhu
they attended it
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they said
أَنصِتُواْۖ
ansitu
Listen quietly
فَلَمَّا
falamma
And when
قُضِيَ
qudiya
it was concluded
وَلَّوۡاْ
wallaw
they turned back
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
قَوۡمِهِم
qawmihim
their people
مُّنذِرِينَ
mundhirina
(as) warners
٢٩
46:30
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
يَٰقَوۡمَنَآ
yaqawmana
O our people
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
سَمِعۡنَا
sami'na
[we] have heard
كِتَٰبًا
kitaban
a Book
أُنزِلَ
unzila
revealed
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مُوسَىٰ
musa
Musa
مُصَدِّقٗا
musaddiqan
confirming
لِّمَا
lima
what
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(was) before it
يَدَيۡهِ
yadayhi
(was) before it
يَهۡدِيٓ
yahdi
guiding
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡحَقِّ
al-haqi
the truth
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
and to
طَرِيقٖ
tariqin
a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
mus'taqimin
Straight
٣٠
46:31
يَٰقَوۡمَنَآ
yaqawmana
O our people
أَجِيبُواْ
ajibu
Respond
دَاعِيَ
da'iya
(to the) caller
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَءَامِنُواْ
waaminu
and believe
بِهِۦ
bihi
in him
يَغۡفِرۡ
yaghfir
He will forgive
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
of
ذُنُوبِكُمۡ
dhunubikum
your sins
وَيُجِرۡكُم
wayujir'kum
and will protect you
مِّنۡ
min
from
عَذَابٍ
adhabin
a punishment
أَلِيمٖ
alimin
painful
٣١
46:32
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
لَّا
la
(does) not
يُجِبۡ
yujib
respond
دَاعِيَ
da'iya
(to the) caller
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَلَيۡسَ
falaysa
then not
بِمُعۡجِزٖ
bimu'jizin
he can escape
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَلَيۡسَ
walaysa
and not
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦٓ
dunihi
besides Him
أَوۡلِيَآءُۚ
awliyau
protectors
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
فِي
fi
(are) in
ضَلَٰلٖ
dalalin
error
مُّبِينٍ
mubinin
clear
٣٢
46:33
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
وَلَمۡ
walam
and (was) not
يَعۡيَ
ya'ya
tired
بِخَلۡقِهِنَّ
bikhalqihinna
by their creation
بِقَٰدِرٍ
biqadirin
(is) able
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
to give life
أَن
an
to give life
يُحۡـِۧيَ
yuh'yiya
to give life
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۚ
al-mawta
(to) the dead
بَلَىٰٓۚ
bala
Yes
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
indeed He
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
All-Powerful
٣٣
46:34
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And (the) Day
يُعۡرَضُ
yu'radu
are exposed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
the Fire
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is not
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ
bil-haqi
the truth
قَالُواْ
qalu
They will say
بَلَىٰ
bala
Yes
وَرَبِّنَاۚ
warabbina
by our Lord
قَالَ
qala
He will say
فَذُوقُواْ
fadhuqu
Then taste
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
بِمَا
bima
because
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used to
تَكۡفُرُونَ
takfuruna
disbelieve
٣٤
46:35
فَٱصۡبِرۡ
fa-is'bir
So be patient
كَمَا
kama
as
صَبَرَ
sabara
had patience
أُوْلُواْ
ulu
those of determination
ٱلۡعَزۡمِ
al-'azmi
those of determination
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلرُّسُلِ
al-rusuli
the Messengers
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَسۡتَعۡجِل
tasta'jil
seek to hasten
لَّهُمۡۚ
lahum
for them
كَأَنَّهُمۡ
ka-annahum
As if they had
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(the) Day
يَرَوۡنَ
yarawna
they see
مَا
ma
what
يُوعَدُونَ
yu'aduna
they were promised
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ
yalbathu
remained
إِلَّا
illa
except
سَاعَةٗ
sa'atan
an hour
مِّن
min
of
نَّهَارِۭۚ
naharin
a day
بَلَٰغٞۚ
balaghun
A notification
فَهَلۡ
fahal
But will
يُهۡلَكُ
yuh'laku
(any) be destroyed
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡقَوۡمُ
al-qawmu
the people
ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ
al-fasiquna
the defiantly disobedient

47:1
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wasaddu
and turn away
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
أَضَلَّ
adalla
He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
١
47:2
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
وَءَامَنُواْ
waamanu
and believe
بِمَا
bima
in what
نُزِّلَ
nuzzila
is revealed
عَلَىٰ
ala
to
مُحَمَّدٖ
muhammadin
Muhammad
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) the truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
كَفَّرَ
kaffara
He will remove
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiatihim
their misdeeds
وَأَصۡلَحَ
wa-aslaha
and improve
بَالَهُمۡ
balahum
their condition
٢
47:3
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
(is) because
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
ittaba'u
follow
ٱلۡبَٰطِلَ
al-batila
falsehood
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
ٱتَّبَعُواْ
ittaba'u
follow
ٱلۡحَقَّ
al-haqa
(the) truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡۚ
rabbihim
their Lord
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
يَضۡرِبُ
yadribu
Allah presents
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah presents
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the people
أَمۡثَٰلَهُمۡ
amthalahum
their similitudes
٣
47:4
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
So when
لَقِيتُمُ
laqitumu
you meet
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
فَضَرۡبَ
fadarba
then strike
ٱلرِّقَابِ
al-riqabi
the necks
حَتَّىٰٓ
hatta
until
إِذَآ
idha
when
أَثۡخَنتُمُوهُمۡ
athkhantumuhum
you have subdued them
فَشُدُّواْ
fashuddu
then bind firmly
ٱلۡوَثَاقَ
al-wathaqa
the bond
فَإِمَّا
fa-imma
then either
مَنَّۢا
mannan
a favor
بَعۡدُ
ba'du
afterwards
وَإِمَّا
wa-imma
or
فِدَآءً
fidaan
ransom
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَضَعَ
tada'a
lays down
ٱلۡحَرۡبُ
al-harbu
the war
أَوۡزَارَهَاۚ
awzaraha
its burdens
ذَٰلِكَۖ
dhalika
That
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
يَشَآءُ
yashau
Allah had willed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah had willed
لَٱنتَصَرَ
la-intasara
surely He could have taken retribution
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
لِّيَبۡلُوَاْ
liyabluwa
to test
بَعۡضَكُم
ba'dakum
some of you
بِبَعۡضٖۗ
biba'din
with others
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
قُتِلُواْ
qutilu
are killed
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) way of Allah
فَلَن
falan
then never
يُضِلَّ
yudilla
He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٤
47:5
سَيَهۡدِيهِمۡ
sayahdihim
He will guide them
وَيُصۡلِحُ
wayus'lihu
and improve
بَالَهُمۡ
balahum
their condition
٥
47:6
وَيُدۡخِلُهُمُ
wayud'khiluhumu
And admit them
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
al-janata
(to) Paradise
عَرَّفَهَا
arrafaha
He has made it known
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
٦
47:7
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
O you who believe
إِن
in
If
تَنصُرُواْ
tansuru
you help
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَنصُرۡكُمۡ
yansur'kum
He will help you
وَيُثَبِّتۡ
wayuthabbit
and make firm
أَقۡدَامَكُمۡ
aqdamakum
your feet
٧
47:8
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
But those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
فَتَعۡسٗا
fata'san
destruction (is)
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَأَضَلَّ
wa-adalla
and He will cause to be lost
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٨
47:9
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
كَرِهُواْ
karihu
hate
مَآ
ma
what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
Allah has revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has revealed
فَأَحۡبَطَ
fa-ahbata
so He has made worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
٩
