۞أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَسِيرُواْ
yaseeroo
they travel
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
فَيَنظُرُواْ
fayañz̤̣uroo
and see
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kaana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
ʻAaq̣ibatul
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
were
مِن
miñ
before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ
q̣ablihim?
before them
كَانُواْ
Kaanoo
They were
هُمۡ
hum
[they]
أَشَدَّ
ʹashadda
superior
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
to them
قُوَّةٗ
q̣uwwatañw
(in) strength
وَءَاثَارٗا
waʹaas̤aarañ
and (in) impressions
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the land
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
faʹakhaẓahumul
but Allah seized them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
but Allah seized them
بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ
biẓunoobihim:
for their sins
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
كَانَ
kaana
was
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مِّنَ
minal
against
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مِن
miñw
any
وَاقٖ
waaq̣.
protector
٢١
