37:22

۞ٱحۡشُرُواْ

ʹUḥshurul

Gather

ٱلَّذِينَ

laẓeena

those who

ظَلَمُواْ

z̤̣alamoo

wronged

وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ

wa-ʹazwaajahum

and their kinds

وَمَا

wa-maa

and what

كَانُواْ

kaanoo

they used (to)

يَعۡبُدُونَ

yaʻbudoon.

worship

٢٢

37:23

مِن

Miñ

Besides

دُونِ

doonil

Besides

ٱللَّهِ

laahi

Allah

فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ

fahdoohum

then lead them

إِلَىٰ

ʹilaa

to

صِرَٰطِ

Ṣiraaṭil

(the) Path

ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Jaḥeem!

(of) the Hellfire

٢٣

37:24

وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ

Waq̣ifoohum

And stop them

إِنَّهُم

ʹinnahum

indeed they

مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ

masʹooloon:

(are) to be questioned

مَا

Maa-

What

لَكُمۡ

lakum

(is) for you

لَا

laa-

(Why) not

تَنَاصَرُونَ

tanaaṣaroon?

you help one another

٢٥

37:26

بَلۡ

Bal

Nay

هُمُ

humul

they

ٱلۡيَوۡمَ

yawma

(on) that Day

مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ

mustaslimoon;

(will) surrender

٢٦

37:27

وَأَقۡبَلَ

Wa-ʹaq̣bala

And will approach

بَعۡضُهُمۡ

baʻḍuhum

some of them

عَلَىٰ

ʻalaa

to

بَعۡضٖ

baʻḍiñy

others

يَتَسَآءَلُونَ

yatasaaaʹaloon.

questioning one another

٢٧

37:28

قَالُوٓاْ

Q̣aalooo

They will say

إِنَّكُمۡ

ʹinnakum

Indeed you

كُنتُمۡ

kuñtum

[you] used (to)

تَأۡتُونَنَا

taʹtoonanaa

come (to) us

عَنِ

ʻanil

from

ٱلۡيَمِينِ

yameen!

the right

٢٨

37:29

قَالُواْ

Q̣aaloo

They will say

بَل

bal

Nay

لَّمۡ

lam

not

تَكُونُواْ

takoonoo

you were

مُؤۡمِنِينَ

Muʹmineen!

believers

٢٩

37:30

وَمَا

Wa-maa

And not

كَانَ

kaana

was

لَنَا

lanaa

for us

عَلَيۡكُم

ʻalaykum

over you

مِّن

miñ

any

سُلۡطَٰنِۭۖ

sulṭaan.

authority

بَلۡ

Bal

Nay

كُنتُمۡ

kuñtum

you were

قَوۡمٗا

q̣awmañ

a people

طَٰغِينَ

ṭaag̣een!

transgressing

٣٠

37:31

فَحَقَّ

Faḥaq̣q̣a

So has been proved true

عَلَيۡنَا

ʻalaynaa

against us

قَوۡلُ

Q̣awlu

(the) Word

رَبِّنَآۖ

Rabbinaaa

(of) our Lord

إِنَّا

ʹinnaa

indeed we

لَذَآئِقُونَ

laẓaaaʹiq̣oon.

(will) certainly taste

٣١

37:32

فَأَغۡوَيۡنَٰكُمۡ

Faʹag̣waynaakum

So we led you astray

إِنَّا

ʹinnaa

indeed we

كُنَّا

kunnaa

were

غَٰوِينَ

g̣aaween.

astray

٣٢

37:33

فَإِنَّهُمۡ

Faʹinnahum

Then indeed they

يَوۡمَئِذٖ

Yawmaʹiẓiñ

that Day

فِي

fil

in

ٱلۡعَذَابِ

ʻAẓaabi

the punishment

مُشۡتَرِكُونَ

mushtarikoon.

(will be) sharers

٣٣

37:34

إِنَّا

ʹInnaa

Indeed We

كَذَٰلِكَ

kaẓaalika

thus

نَفۡعَلُ

nafʻalu

We deal

بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ

bil-mujrimeen.

with the criminals

٣٤

37:35

إِنَّهُمۡ

ʹInnahum

Indeed they

كَانُوٓاْ

kaanooo

were

إِذَا

ʹiẓaa

when

قِيلَ

q̣eela

it was said

لَهُمۡ

lahum

to them

لَآ

˹Laaa

(There is) no

إِلَٰهَ

ʹilaaha

god

إِلَّا

ʹillal

except

ٱللَّهُ

laahu˺

Allah

يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

yastakbiroon,

were arrogant

٣٥

37:36

وَيَقُولُونَ

Wa-yaq̣ooloona

And they say

أَئِنَّا

ʹaʹinnaa

Are we

لَتَارِكُوٓاْ

lataarikooo

to leave

ءَالِهَتِنَا

ʹaalihatinaa

our gods

لِشَاعِرٖ

lishaaʻirim

for a poet

مَّجۡنُونِۭ

majnoon?

mad

٣٦

37:37

بَلۡ

Bal

Nay

جَآءَ

jaaaʹa

he has brought

بِٱلۡحَقِّ

bil-Ḥaq̣q̣i

the truth

وَصَدَّقَ

wa-ṣaddaq̣al

and confirmed

ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ

mursaleen.

the Messengers

٣٧

37:38

إِنَّكُمۡ

ʹInnakum

Indeed you

لَذَآئِقُواْ

laẓaaaʹiq̣ul

(will) surely taste

ٱلۡعَذَابِ

ʻAẓaabil

the punishment

ٱلۡأَلِيمِ

ʹAleem;

painful

٣٨

37:39

وَمَا

Wa-maa

And not

تُجۡزَوۡنَ

tujzawna

you will be recompensed

إِلَّا

ʹillaa

except

مَا

maa-

what

كُنتُمۡ

kuñtum

you used to

تَعۡمَلُونَ

taʻmaloon;

do

٣٩

37:40

إِلَّا

ʹIllaa

Except

عِبَادَ

ʻibaadal

(the) slaves

ٱللَّهِ

laahil

(of) Allah

ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

mukhlaṣeen.

the chosen ones

٤٠

37:41

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ

ʹUlaaaʹika

Those

لَهُمۡ

lahum

for them

رِزۡقٞ

Rizq̣um

(will be) a provision

مَّعۡلُومٞ

maʻloom,

determined

٤١

37:42

فَوَٰكِهُ

Fawaakihu

Fruits

وَهُم

wa-hum

and they

مُّكۡرَمُونَ

mukramoon,

(will) be honored

٤٢

37:43

فِي

Fee

In

جَنَّٰتِ

Jannaatin

Gardens

ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Naʻeem,

(of) Delight

٤٣

37:44

عَلَىٰ

ʻAlaa

On

سُرُرٖ

sururim

thrones

مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ

mutaq̣aabileen:

facing each other

٤٤

37:45

يُطَافُ

Yuṭaafu

Will be circulated

عَلَيۡهِم

ʻalayhim̃

among them

بِكَأۡسٖ

bikaʹsim

a cup

مِّن

mim

from

مَّعِينِۭ

maʻeen,

a flowing spring

٤٥

37:46

بَيۡضَآءَ

Bayḍaaaʹa

White

لَذَّةٖ

laẓẓatillish

delicious

لِّلشَّٰرِبِينَ

shaaribeen,

for the drinkers

٤٦
