35:41
۞إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُمۡسِكُ
yum'siku
upholds
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
أَن
an
lest
تَزُولَاۚ
tazula
they cease
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
زَالَتَآ
zalata
they should cease
إِنۡ
in
not
أَمۡسَكَهُمَا
amsakahuma
can uphold them
مِنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
one
مِّنۢ
min
after Him
بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ
ba'dihi
after Him
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
حَلِيمًا
haliman
Most Forbearing
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
٤١
35:42
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ
wa-aqsamu
And they swore
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
(the) strongest
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
aymanihim
(of) their oaths
لَئِن
la-in
that if
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
came to them
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
لَّيَكُونُنَّ
layakununna
surely they would be
أَهۡدَىٰ
ahda
more guided
مِنۡ
min
than
إِحۡدَى
ih'da
any
ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ
al-umami
(of) the nations
فَلَمَّا
falamma
But when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
came to them
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
مَّا
ma
not
زَادَهُمۡ
zadahum
it increased them
إِلَّا
illa
but
نُفُورًا
nufuran
(in) aversion
٤٢
35:43
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا
is'tik'baran
(Due to) arrogance
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
وَمَكۡرَ
wamakra
and plotting
ٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚ
al-sayi-i
(of) the evil
وَلَا
wala
but not
يَحِيقُ
yahiqu
encompasses
ٱلۡمَكۡرُ
al-makru
the plot
ٱلسَّيِّئُ
al-sayi-u
(of) the evil
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِأَهۡلِهِۦۚ
bi-ahlihi
its own people
فَهَلۡ
fahal
Then do
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
they wait
إِلَّا
illa
except
سُنَّتَ
sunnata
(the) way
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَۚ
al-awalina
(of) the former (people)
فَلَن
falan
But never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّتِ
lisunnati
in (the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
تَبۡدِيلٗاۖ
tabdilan
any change
وَلَن
walan
and never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّتِ
lisunnati
in (the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
تَحۡوِيلًا
tahwilan
any alteration
٤٣
35:44
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Have they not
يَسِيرُواْ
yasiru
traveled
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
فَيَنظُرُواْ
fayanzuru
and seen
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
مِن
min
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
(were) before them
وَكَانُوٓاْ
wakanu
And they were
أَشَدَّ
ashadda
stronger
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
than them
قُوَّةٗۚ
quwwatan
(in) power
وَمَا
wama
But not
كَانَ
kana
is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ
liyu'jizahu
that can escape (from) Him
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَلَا
wala
and not
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلِيمٗا
aliman
All-Knower
قَدِيرٗا
qadiran
All-Powerful

35:45
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
يُؤَاخِذُ
yuakhidhu
Allah (were to) punish
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (were to) punish
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
the people
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَسَبُواْ
kasabu
they have earned
مَا
ma
not
تَرَكَ
taraka
He would leave
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
ظَهۡرِهَا
zahriha
its back
مِن
min
any
دَآبَّةٖ
dabbatin
creature
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
But
يُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ
yu-akhiruhum
He gives them respite
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
till
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمّٗىۖ
musamman
appointed
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
And when
جَآءَ
jaa
comes
أَجَلُهُمۡ
ajaluhum
their term
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
بِعِبَادِهِۦ
bi'ibadihi
of His slaves
بَصِيرَۢا
basiran
All-Seer
٤٥
36:1
يسٓ
ya-seen
Ya Seen
١
36:2
وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ
wal-qur'ani
By the Quran
ٱلۡحَكِيمِ
al-hakimi
the Wise
٢
36:3
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed you
لَمِنَ
lamina
(are) among
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
al-mur'salina
the Messengers
٣
36:4
عَلَىٰ
ala
On
صِرَٰطٖ
siratin
a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
mus'taqimin
Straight
٤
36:5
تَنزِيلَ
tanzila
A revelation
ٱلۡعَزِيزِ
al-'azizi
(of) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
al-rahimi
the Most Merciful
٥
36:6
لِتُنذِرَ
litundhira
That you may warn
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
مَّآ
ma
not
أُنذِرَ
undhira
were warned
ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ
abauhum
their forefathers
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
غَٰفِلُونَ
ghafiluna
(are) heedless
٦
36:7
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
حَقَّ
haqqa
(has) proved true
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
al-qawlu
the word
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
upon
أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ
aktharihim
most of them
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
٧
36:8
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed We
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
[We] have placed
فِيٓ
fi
on
أَعۡنَٰقِهِمۡ
a'naqihim
their necks
أَغۡلَٰلٗا
aghlalan
iron collars
فَهِيَ
fahiya
and they
إِلَى
ila
(are up) to
ٱلۡأَذۡقَانِ
al-adhqani
the chins
فَهُم
fahum
so they
مُّقۡمَحُونَ
muq'mahuna
(are with) heads raised up
٨
36:9
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
And We have made
مِنۢ
min
from
بَيۡنِ
bayni
before/between
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
aydihim
their hands/their front
سَدّٗا
saddan
a barrier
وَمِنۡ
wamin
and from
خَلۡفِهِمۡ
khalfihim
behind them
سَدّٗا
saddan
a barrier
فَأَغۡشَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
fa-aghshaynahum
and We covered them
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(do) not
يُبۡصِرُونَ
yub'siruna
see
٩
36:10
وَسَوَآءٌ
wasawaon
And it (is) same
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
to them
ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ
a-andhartahum
whether you warn them
أَمۡ
am
or
لَمۡ
lam
(do) not
تُنذِرۡهُمۡ
tundhir'hum
warn them
لَا
la
not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
they will believe
١٠
36:11
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
تُنذِرُ
tundhiru
you (can) warn
مَنِ
mani
(him) who
ٱتَّبَعَ
ittaba'a
follows
ٱلذِّكۡرَ
al-dhik'ra
the Reminder
وَخَشِيَ
wakhashiya
and fears
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ
al-rahmana
the Most Gracious
بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ
bil-ghaybi
in the unseen
فَبَشِّرۡهُ
fabashir'hu
So give him glad tidings
بِمَغۡفِرَةٖ
bimaghfiratin
of forgiveness
وَأَجۡرٖ
wa-ajrin
and a reward
كَرِيمٍ
karimin
noble
١١
36:12
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed We
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
[We]
نُحۡيِ
nuh'yi
[We] give life
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ
al-mawta
(to) the dead
وَنَكۡتُبُ
wanaktubu
and We record
مَا
ma
what
قَدَّمُواْ
qaddamu
they have sent before
وَءَاثَٰرَهُمۡۚ
waatharahum
and their footprints
وَكُلَّ
wakulla
and every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
أَحۡصَيۡنَٰهُ
ahsaynahu
We have enumerated it
فِيٓ
fi
in
إِمَامٖ
imamin
a Register
مُّبِينٖ
mubinin
clear

وَٱضۡرِبۡ
wa-id'rib
And set forth
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مَّثَلًا
mathalan
an example
أَصۡحَٰبَ
ashaba
(of the) companions
ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ
al-qaryati
(of) the city
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَآءَهَا
jaaha
came to it
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
al-mur'saluna
the Messengers
١٣
36:14
إِذۡ
idh
When
أَرۡسَلۡنَآ
arsalna
We sent
إِلَيۡهِمُ
ilayhimu
to them
ٱثۡنَيۡنِ
ith'nayni
two (Messengers)
فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا
fakadhabuhuma
but they denied both of them
فَعَزَّزۡنَا
fa'azzazna
so We strengthened them
بِثَالِثٖ
bithalithin
with a third
فَقَالُوٓاْ
faqalu
and they said
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
إِلَيۡكُم
ilaykum
to you
مُّرۡسَلُونَ
mur'saluna
(are) Messengers
١٤
36:15
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
مَآ
ma
Not
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
إِلَّا
illa
(are) but
بَشَرٞ
basharun
human beings
مِّثۡلُنَا
mith'luna
like us
وَمَآ
wama
and not
أَنزَلَ
anzala
has revealed
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ
al-rahmanu
the Most Gracious
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
إِلَّا
illa
(are) but
تَكۡذِبُونَ
takdhibuna
lying
١٥
36:16
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
رَبُّنَا
rabbuna
Our Lord
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
إِنَّآ
inna
that we
إِلَيۡكُمۡ
ilaykum
to you
لَمُرۡسَلُونَ
lamur'saluna
(are) surely Messengers
١٦
36:17
وَمَا
wama
And not
عَلَيۡنَآ
alayna
(is) on us
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ
al-balaghu
the conveyance
ٱلۡمُبِينُ
al-mubinu
clear
١٧
36:18
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
تَطَيَّرۡنَا
tatayyarna
[we] see an evil omen
بِكُمۡۖ
bikum
from you
لَئِن
la-in
If
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَنتَهُواْ
tantahu
you desist
لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ
lanarjumannakum
surely we will stone you
وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم
walayamassannakum
and surely will touch you
مِّنَّا
minna
from us
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
١٨
36:19
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
طَٰٓئِرُكُم
tairukum
Your evil omen
مَّعَكُمۡ
ma'akum
(be) with you
أَئِن
a-in
Is it because
ذُكِّرۡتُمۚ
dhukkir'tum
you are admonished
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
قَوۡمٞ
qawmun
(are) a people
مُّسۡرِفُونَ
mus'rifuna
transgressing
١٩
36:20
وَجَآءَ
wajaa
And came
مِنۡ
min
from
أَقۡصَا
aqsa
(the) farthest end
ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ
al-madinati
(of) the city
رَجُلٞ
rajulun
a man
يَسۡعَىٰ
yas'a
running
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my People
ٱتَّبِعُواْ
ittabi'u
Follow
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
al-mur'salina
the Messengers
٢٠
