۞وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
wa-awhayna
And We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
musa
Musa
أَنۡ
an
[that]
أَسۡرِ
asri
Travel by night
بِعِبَادِيٓ
bi'ibadi
with My slaves
إِنَّكُم
innakum
indeed you
مُّتَّبَعُونَ
muttaba'una
(will be) followed
٥٢
Rub El Hizb 148
One of the 240 subdivisions of the Quran (quarter of a Hizb)
26:53
فَأَرۡسَلَ
fa-arsala
Then sent
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
fir'awnu
Firaun
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ
al-madaini
the cities
حَٰشِرِينَ
hashirina
gatherers
٥٣
26:54
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
لَشِرۡذِمَةٞ
lashir'dhimatun
(are) certainly a band
قَلِيلُونَ
qaliluna
small
٥٤
26:55
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
wa-innahum
And indeed they
لَنَا
lana
[to] us
لَغَآئِظُونَ
laghaizuna
(are) surely enraging
٥٥
26:56
وَإِنَّا
wa-inna
And indeed we
لَجَمِيعٌ
lajami'un
(are) surely a multitude
حَٰذِرُونَ
hadhiruna
forewarned
٥٦
26:57
فَأَخۡرَجۡنَٰهُم
fa-akhrajnahum
So We expelled them
مِّن
min
from
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
gardens
وَعُيُونٖ
wa'uyunin
and springs
٥٧
26:58
وَكُنُوزٖ
wakunuzin
And treasures
وَمَقَامٖ
wamaqamin
and a place
كَرِيمٖ
karimin
honorable
٥٨
26:59
كَذَٰلِكَۖ
kadhalika
Thus
وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا
wa-awrathnaha
And We caused to inherit them
بَنِيٓ
bani
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
(the) Children of Israel
٥٩
26:60
فَأَتۡبَعُوهُم
fa-atba'uhum
So they followed them
مُّشۡرِقِينَ
mush'riqina
(at) sunrise

فَلَمَّا
falamma
Then when
تَرَٰٓءَا
taraa
saw each other
ٱلۡجَمۡعَانِ
al-jam'ani
the two hosts
قَالَ
qala
said
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(the) companions
مُوسَىٰٓ
musa
(of) Musa
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
لَمُدۡرَكُونَ
lamud'rakuna
(are) surely to be overtaken
٦١
26:62
قَالَ
qala
He said
كـَلَّآۖ
kalla
Nay
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
مَعِيَ
ma'iya
with me
رَبِّي
rabbi
(is) my Lord
سَيَهۡدِينِ
sayahdini
He will guide me
٦٢
26:63
فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
fa-awhayna
Then We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
musa
Musa
أَنِ
ani
[that]
ٱضۡرِب
id'rib
Strike
بِّعَصَاكَ
bi'asaka
with your staff
ٱلۡبَحۡرَۖ
al-bahra
the sea
فَٱنفَلَقَ
fa-infalaqa
So it parted
فَكَانَ
fakana
and became
كُلُّ
kullu
each
فِرۡقٖ
fir'qin
part
كَٱلطَّوۡدِ
kal-tawdi
like the mountain
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
al-'azimi
[the] great
٦٣
26:64
وَأَزۡلَفۡنَا
wa-azlafna
And We brought near
ثَمَّ
thamma
there
ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
al-akharina
the others
٦٤
26:65
وَأَنجَيۡنَا
wa-anjayna
And We saved
مُوسَىٰ
musa
Musa
وَمَن
waman
and who
مَّعَهُۥٓ
ma'ahu
(were) with him
أَجۡمَعِينَ
ajma'ina
all
٦٥
26:66
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
أَغۡرَقۡنَا
aghraqna
We drowned
ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ
al-akharina
the others
٦٦
26:67
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَةٗۖ
laayatan
surely (is) a Sign
وَمَا
wama
but not
كَانَ
kana
are
أَكۡثَرُهُم
aktharuhum
most of them
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
mu'minina
believers
٦٧
26:68
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
lahuwa
surely He
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
al-rahimu
the Most Merciful
٦٨
26:69
وَٱتۡلُ
wa-ut'lu
And recite
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
to them
نَبَأَ
naba-a
(the) news
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
٦٩
26:70
إِذۡ
idh
When
قَالَ
qala
he said
لِأَبِيهِ
li-abihi
to his father
وَقَوۡمِهِۦ
waqawmihi
and his people
مَا
ma
What
تَعۡبُدُونَ
ta'buduna
(do) you worship
٧٠
26:71
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
نَعۡبُدُ
na'budu
We worship
أَصۡنَامٗا
asnaman
idols
فَنَظَلُّ
fanazallu
so we will remain
لَهَا
laha
to them
عَٰكِفِينَ
akifina
devoted
٧١
26:72
قَالَ
qala
He said
هَلۡ
hal
Do
يَسۡمَعُونَكُمۡ
yasma'unakum
they hear you
إِذۡ
idh
when
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
you call
٧٢
26:73
أَوۡ
aw
Or
يَنفَعُونَكُمۡ
yanfa'unakum
(do) they benefit you
أَوۡ
aw
or
يَضُرُّونَ
yadurruna
they harm (you)
٧٣
26:74
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
وَجَدۡنَآ
wajadna
but we found
ءَابَآءَنَا
abaana
our forefathers
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
like that
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yaf 'aluna
doing
٧٤
26:75
قَالَ
qala
He said
أَفَرَءَيۡتُم
afara-aytum
Do you see
مَّا
ma
what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you have been
تَعۡبُدُونَ
ta'buduna
worshipping
٧٥
26:76
أَنتُمۡ
antum
You
وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ
waabaukumu
and your forefathers
ٱلۡأَقۡدَمُونَ
al-aqdamuna
and your forefathers
٧٦
