۞إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُدَٰفِعُ
yudafi'u
defends
عَنِ
ani
defends
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْۗ
amanu
believe
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
like
كُلَّ
kulla
every
خَوَّانٖ
khawwanin
treacherous
كَفُورٍ
kafurin
ungrateful

22:39
أُذِنَ
udhina
Permission is given
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
يُقَٰتَلُونَ
yuqataluna
are being fought
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
because they
ظُلِمُواْۚ
zulimu
were wronged
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
for
نَصۡرِهِمۡ
nasrihim
their victory
لَقَدِيرٌ
laqadirun
(is) surely Able
٣٩
22:40
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
أُخۡرِجُواْ
ukh'riju
have been evicted
مِن
min
from
دِيَٰرِهِم
diyarihim
their homes
بِغَيۡرِ
bighayri
without
حَقٍّ
haqqin
right
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
يَقُولُواْ
yaqulu
they said
رَبُّنَا
rabbuna
Our Lord
ٱللَّهُۗ
al-lahu
(is) Allah
وَلَوۡلَا
walawla
And if not
دَفۡعُ
daf'u
Allah checks
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah checks
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
the people
بَعۡضَهُم
ba'dahum
some of them
بِبَعۡضٖ
biba'din
by others
لَّهُدِّمَتۡ
lahuddimat
surely (would) have been demolished
صَوَٰمِعُ
sawami'u
monasteries
وَبِيَعٞ
wabiya'un
and churches
وَصَلَوَٰتٞ
wasalawatun
and synagogues
وَمَسَٰجِدُ
wamasajidu
and masajid
يُذۡكَرُ
yudh'karu
is mentioned
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
ٱسۡمُ
us'mu
(the) name of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(the) name of Allah
كَثِيرٗاۗ
kathiran
much
وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ
walayansuranna
And surely Allah will help
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And surely Allah will help
مَن
man
(those) who
يَنصُرُهُۥٓۚ
yansuruhu
help Him
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَقَوِيٌّ
laqawiyyun
(is) surely All-Strong
عَزِيزٌ
azizun
All-Mighty
٤٠
22:41
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
إِن
in
if
مَّكَّنَّٰهُمۡ
makkannahum
We establish them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
أَقَامُواْ
aqamu
they establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
وَءَاتَوُاْ
waatawu
and they give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
al-zakata
zakah
وَأَمَرُواْ
wa-amaru
and they enjoin
بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ
bil-ma'rufi
the right
وَنَهَوۡاْ
wanahaw
and forbid
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ
al-munkari
the wrong
وَلِلَّهِ
walillahi
And for Allah
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(is the) end
ٱلۡأُمُورِ
al-umuri
(of) the matters
٤١
22:42
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يُكَذِّبُوكَ
yukadhibuka
they deny you
فَقَدۡ
faqad
so verily
كَذَّبَتۡ
kadhabat
denied
قَبۡلَهُمۡ
qablahum
before them
قَوۡمُ
qawmu
(the) people
نُوحٖ
nuhin
(of) Nuh
وَعَادٞ
wa'adun
and Aad
وَثَمُودُ
wathamudu
and Thamud
٤٢
22:43
وَقَوۡمُ
waqawmu
And (the) people
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
وَقَوۡمُ
waqawmu
and (the) people
لُوطٖ
lutin
(of) Lut
٤٣
22:44
وَأَصۡحَٰبُ
wa-ashabu
And the inhabitants
مَدۡيَنَۖ
madyana
(of) Madyan
وَكُذِّبَ
wakudhiba
And Musa was denied
مُوسَىٰۖ
musa
And Musa was denied
فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ
fa-amlaytu
so I granted respite
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
to the disbelievers
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ
akhadhtuhum
I seized them
فَكَيۡفَ
fakayfa
and how
كَانَ
kana
was
نَكِيرِ
nakiri
My punishment
٤٤
22:45
فَكَأَيِّن
faka-ayyin
And how many
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡيَةٍ
qaryatin
a township
أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَا
ahlaknaha
We have destroyed it
وَهِيَ
wahiya
while it
ظَالِمَةٞ
zalimatun
was doing wrong
فَهِيَ
fahiya
so it
خَاوِيَةٌ
khawiyatun
fell
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
عُرُوشِهَا
urushiha
its roofs
وَبِئۡرٖ
wabi'rin
and well
مُّعَطَّلَةٖ
mu'attalatin
abandoned
وَقَصۡرٖ
waqasrin
and castle
مَّشِيدٍ
mashidin
lofty
٤٥
22:46
أَفَلَمۡ
afalam
So have not
يَسِيرُواْ
yasiru
they traveled
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
فَتَكُونَ
fatakuna
and is
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
قُلُوبٞ
qulubun
hearts
يَعۡقِلُونَ
ya'qiluna
(to) reason
بِهَآ
biha
with it
أَوۡ
aw
or
ءَاذَانٞ
adhanun
ears
يَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
(to) hear
بِهَاۖ
biha
with it
فَإِنَّهَا
fa-innaha
For indeed [it]
لَا
la
not
تَعۡمَى
ta'ma
(are) blinded
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
al-absaru
the eyes
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
تَعۡمَى
ta'ma
(are) blinded
ٱلۡقُلُوبُ
al-qulubu
the hearts
ٱلَّتِي
allati
which
فِي
fi
(are) in
ٱلصُّدُورِ
al-suduri
the breasts
٤٦

22:47
وَيَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ
wayasta'jilunaka
And they ask you to hasten
بِٱلۡعَذَابِ
bil-'adhabi
the punishment
وَلَن
walan
But never will
يُخۡلِفَ
yukh'lifa
fail/violate
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَعۡدَهُۥۚ
wa'dahu
(in) His Promise
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
يَوۡمًا
yawman
a day
عِندَ
inda
with
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
كَأَلۡفِ
ka-alfi
(is) like a thousand
سَنَةٖ
sanatin
year(s)
مِّمَّا
mimma
of what
تَعُدُّونَ
ta'udduna
you count
٤٧
22:48
وَكَأَيِّن
waka-ayyin
And how many
مِّن
min
of
قَرۡيَةٍ
qaryatin
a township
أَمۡلَيۡتُ
amlaytu
I gave respite
لَهَا
laha
to it
وَهِيَ
wahiya
while it
ظَالِمَةٞ
zalimatun
(was) doing wrong
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
أَخَذۡتُهَا
akhadhtuha
I seized it
وَإِلَيَّ
wa-ilayya
and to Me
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
(is) the destination
٤٨
22:49
قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O mankind
ٱلنَّاسُ
al-nasu
O mankind
إِنَّمَآ
innama
Only
أَنَا۠
ana
I am
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
مُّبِينٞ
mubinun
clear
٤٩
22:50
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fa-alladhina
So those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغۡفِرَةٞ
maghfiratun
(is) forgiveness
وَرِزۡقٞ
wariz'qun
and a provision
كَرِيمٞ
karimun
noble
٥٠
22:51
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
سَعَوۡاْ
sa'aw
strove
فِيٓ
fi
against
ءَايَٰتِنَا
ayatina
Our Verses
مُعَٰجِزِينَ
mu'ajizina
(to) cause failure
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ashabu
(are the) companions
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
al-jahimi
(of) the Hellfire
٥١
22:52
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
مِن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
before you
مِن
min
any
رَّسُولٖ
rasulin
Messenger
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَبِيٍّ
nabiyyin
a Prophet
إِلَّآ
illa
but
إِذَا
idha
when
تَمَنَّىٰٓ
tamanna
he recited
أَلۡقَى
alqa
threw
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
فِيٓ
fi
in
أُمۡنِيَّتِهِۦ
um'niyyatihi
his recitation
فَيَنسَخُ
fayansakhu
But Allah abolishes
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
But Allah abolishes
مَا
ma
what
يُلۡقِي
yul'qi
throws
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُحۡكِمُ
yuh'kimu
Allah will establish
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will establish
ءَايَٰتِهِۦۗ
ayatihi
His Verses
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٥٢
22:53
لِّيَجۡعَلَ
liyaj'ala
That He may make
مَا
ma
what
يُلۡقِي
yul'qi
the Shaitaan throws
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan throws
فِتۡنَةٗ
fit'natan
a trial
لِّلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
for those
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِم
qulubihim
their hearts
مَّرَضٞ
maradun
(is) a disease
وَٱلۡقَاسِيَةِ
wal-qasiyati
and (are) hardened
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
the wrongdoers
لَفِي
lafi
(are) surely in
شِقَاقِۭ
shiqaqin
schism
بَعِيدٖ
ba'idin
far
٥٣
22:54
وَلِيَعۡلَمَ
waliya'lama
And that may know
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
have been given
ٱلۡعِلۡمَ
al-'il'ma
the knowledge
أَنَّهُ
annahu
that it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) the truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
فَيُؤۡمِنُواْ
fayu'minu
and they believe
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
فَتُخۡبِتَ
fatukh'bita
and may humbly submit
لَهُۥ
lahu
to it
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَهَادِ
lahadi
(is) surely (the) Guide
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
صِرَٰطٖ
siratin
a Path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
mus'taqimin
Straight
٥٤
22:55
وَلَا
wala
And not
يَزَالُ
yazalu
will cease
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
فِي
fi
(to be) in
مِرۡيَةٖ
mir'yatin
doubt
مِّنۡهُ
min'hu
of it
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَأۡتِيَهُمُ
tatiyahumu
comes to them
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
al-sa'atu
the Hour
بَغۡتَةً
baghtatan
suddenly
أَوۡ
aw
or
يَأۡتِيَهُمۡ
yatiyahum
comes to them
عَذَابُ
adhabu
(the) punishment
يَوۡمٍ
yawmin
(of) a Day
عَقِيمٍ
aqimin
barren

22:56
ٱلۡمُلۡكُ
al-mul'ku
The Sovereignty
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawma-idhin
(on) that Day
لِّلَّهِ
lillahi
(will be) for Allah
يَحۡكُمُ
yahkumu
He will judge
بَيۡنَهُمۡۚ
baynahum
between them
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fa-alladhina
So those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
فِي
fi
(will be) in
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
al-na'imi
(of) Delight
٥٦
22:57
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
وَكَذَّبُواْ
wakadhabu
and denied
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
Our Verses
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
عَذَابٞ
adhabun
(will be) a punishment
مُّهِينٞ
muhinun
humiliating
٥٧
22:58
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
And those who
هَاجَرُواْ
hajaru
emigrated
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
قُتِلُوٓاْ
qutilu
were killed
أَوۡ
aw
or
مَاتُواْ
matu
died
لَيَرۡزُقَنَّهُمُ
layarzuqannahumu
surely Allah will provide them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
surely Allah will provide them
رِزۡقًا
riz'qan
a provision
حَسَنٗاۚ
hasanan
good
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَهُوَ
lahuwa
surely He
خَيۡرُ
khayru
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
al-raziqina
(of) the Providers
٥٨
22:59
لَيُدۡخِلَنَّهُم
layud'khilannahum
Surely He will admit them
مُّدۡخَلٗا
mud'khalan
(to) an entrance
يَرۡضَوۡنَهُۥۚ
yardawnahu
they will be pleased (with) it
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَعَلِيمٌ
la'alimun
surely (is) All-Knowing
حَلِيمٞ
halimun
Most Forbearing
