22:19
۞هَٰذَانِ
hadhani
These two
خَصۡمَانِ
khasmani
opponents
ٱخۡتَصَمُواْ
ikh'tasamu
dispute
فِي
fi
concerning
رَبِّهِمۡۖ
rabbihim
their Lord
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fa-alladhina
But those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
قُطِّعَتۡ
qutti'at
will be cut out
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
ثِيَابٞ
thiyabun
garments
مِّن
min
of
نَّارٖ
narin
fire
يُصَبُّ
yusabbu
Will be poured
مِن
min
over
فَوۡقِ
fawqi
over
رُءُوسِهِمُ
ruusihimu
their heads
ٱلۡحَمِيمُ
al-hamimu
[the] scalding water

22:20
يُصۡهَرُ
yus'haru
Will be melted
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
بُطُونِهِمۡ
butunihim
their bellies
وَٱلۡجُلُودُ
wal-juludu
and the skins
٢٠
22:21
وَلَهُم
walahum
And for them
مَّقَٰمِعُ
maqami'u
(are) hooked rods
مِنۡ
min
of
حَدِيدٖ
hadidin
iron
٢١
22:22
كُلَّمَآ
kullama
Every time
أَرَادُوٓاْ
aradu
they want
أَن
an
to
يَخۡرُجُواْ
yakhruju
come out
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
from it
مِنۡ
min
from
غَمٍّ
ghammin
anguish
أُعِيدُواْ
u'idu
they will be returned
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
وَذُوقُواْ
wadhuqu
Taste
عَذَابَ
adhaba
(the) punishment
ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
al-hariqi
(of) the Burning Fire

22:23
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُدۡخِلُ
yud'khilu
will admit
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
the righteous deeds
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannatin
(to) Gardens
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهَا
tahtiha
underneath it
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
يُحَلَّوۡنَ
yuhallawna
They will be adorned
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
مِنۡ
min
with
أَسَاوِرَ
asawira
bracelets
مِن
min
of
ذَهَبٖ
dhahabin
gold
وَلُؤۡلُؤٗاۖ
walu'lu-an
and pearl
وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ
walibasuhum
and their garments
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
حَرِيرٞ
harirun
(will be of) silk

وَهُدُوٓاْ
wahudu
And they were guided
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلطَّيِّبِ
al-tayibi
the good
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡقَوۡلِ
al-qawli
the speech
وَهُدُوٓاْ
wahudu
and they were guided
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
صِرَٰطِ
sirati
(the) path
ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
al-hamidi
(of) the Praiseworthy
٢٤
22:25
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
وَيَصُدُّونَ
wayasudduna
and hinder
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ
wal-masjidi
and Al-Masjid Al-Haraam
ٱلۡحَرَامِ
al-harami
and Al-Masjid Al-Haraam
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
which
جَعَلۡنَٰهُ
ja'alnahu
We made it
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for the mankind
سَوَآءً
sawaan
equal
ٱلۡعَٰكِفُ
al-'akifu
(are) the resident
فِيهِ
fihi
therein
وَٱلۡبَادِۚ
wal-badi
and the visitor
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يُرِدۡ
yurid
intends
فِيهِ
fihi
therein
بِإِلۡحَادِۭ
bi-il'hadin
of deviation
بِظُلۡمٖ
bizul'min
(or) wrongdoing
نُّذِقۡهُ
nudhiq'hu
We will make him taste
مِنۡ
min
of
عَذَابٍ
adhabin
a punishment
أَلِيمٖ
alimin
painful
٢٥
22:26
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
بَوَّأۡنَا
bawwana
We assigned
لِإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
li-ib'rahima
to Ibrahim
مَكَانَ
makana
(the) site
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
al-bayti
(of) the House
أَن
an
That
لَّا
la
(do) not
تُشۡرِكۡ
tush'rik
associate
بِي
bi
with Me
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
وَطَهِّرۡ
watahhir
and purify
بَيۡتِيَ
baytiya
My House
لِلطَّآئِفِينَ
lilttaifina
for those who circumambulate
وَٱلۡقَآئِمِينَ
wal-qaimina
and those who stand
وَٱلرُّكَّعِ
wal-ruka'i
and those who bow
ٱلسُّجُودِ
al-sujudi
(and) those who prostrate
٢٦
22:27
وَأَذِّن
wa-adhin
And proclaim
فِي
fi
to
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
[the] mankind
بِٱلۡحَجِّ
bil-haji
[of] the Pilgrimage
يَأۡتُوكَ
yatuka
they will come to you
رِجَالٗا
rijalan
(on) foot
وَعَلَىٰ
wa'ala
and on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
ضَامِرٖ
damirin
lean camel
يَأۡتِينَ
yatina
they will come
مِن
min
from
كُلِّ
kulli
every
فَجٍّ
fajjin
mountain highway
عَمِيقٖ
amiqin
distant
٢٧
22:28
لِّيَشۡهَدُواْ
liyashhadu
That they may witness
مَنَٰفِعَ
manafi'a
benefits
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَيَذۡكُرُواْ
wayadhkuru
and mention
ٱسۡمَ
is'ma
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فِيٓ
fi
on
أَيَّامٖ
ayyamin
days
مَّعۡلُومَٰتٍ
ma'lumatin
known
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
رَزَقَهُم
razaqahum
He has provided them
مِّنۢ
min
of
بَهِيمَةِ
bahimati
(the) beast
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِۖ
al-an'ami
(of) cattle
فَكُلُواْ
fakulu
So eat
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
of them
وَأَطۡعِمُواْ
wa-at'imu
and feed
ٱلۡبَآئِسَ
al-baisa
the miserable
ٱلۡفَقِيرَ
al-faqira
the poor
٢٨
22:29
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
لۡيَقۡضُواْ
l'yaqdu
let them end
تَفَثَهُمۡ
tafathahum
their prescribed duties
وَلۡيُوفُواْ
walyufu
and fulfil
نُذُورَهُمۡ
nudhurahum
their vows
وَلۡيَطَّوَّفُواْ
walyattawwafu
and circumambulate
بِٱلۡبَيۡتِ
bil-bayti
the House
ٱلۡعَتِيقِ
al-'atiqi
[the] Ancient
٢٩
22:30
ذَٰلِكَۖ
dhalika
That
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يُعَظِّمۡ
yu'azzim
honors
حُرُمَٰتِ
hurumati
(the) sacred rites
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
then it
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) best
لَّهُۥ
lahu
for him
عِندَ
inda
near
رَبِّهِۦۗ
rabbihi
his Lord
وَأُحِلَّتۡ
wa-uhillat
And are made lawful
لَكُمُ
lakumu
to you
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمُ
al-an'amu
the cattle
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَا
ma
what
يُتۡلَىٰ
yut'la
is recited
عَلَيۡكُمۡۖ
alaykum
to you
فَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ
fa-ij'tanibu
So avoid
ٱلرِّجۡسَ
al-rij'sa
the abomination
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَوۡثَٰنِ
al-awthani
the idols
وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ
wa-ij'tanibu
and avoid
قَوۡلَ
qawla
(the) word
ٱلزُّورِ
al-zuri
false

حُنَفَآءَ
hunafaa
Being upright
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
not
مُشۡرِكِينَ
mush'rikina
associating partners
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
with Him
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُشۡرِكۡ
yush'rik
associates partners
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
with Allah
فَكَأَنَّمَا
faka-annama
then (it is) as though
خَرَّ
kharra
he had fallen
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
فَتَخۡطَفُهُ
fatakhtafuhu
and (had) snatched him
ٱلطَّيۡرُ
al-tayru
the birds
أَوۡ
aw
or
تَهۡوِي
tahwi
had blown
بِهِ
bihi
him
ٱلرِّيحُ
al-rihu
the wind
فِي
fi
to
مَكَانٖ
makanin
a place
سَحِيقٖ
sahiqin
far off

22:32
ذَٰلِكَۖ
dhalika
That
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يُعَظِّمۡ
yu'azzim
honors
شَعَٰٓئِرَ
sha'aira
(the) Symbols
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَإِنَّهَا
fa-innaha
then indeed it
مِن
min
(is) from
تَقۡوَى
taqwa
(the) piety
ٱلۡقُلُوبِ
al-qulubi
(of) the hearts
٣٢
22:33
لَكُمۡ
lakum
For you
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
مَنَٰفِعُ
manafi'u
(are) benefits
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمّٗى
musamman
appointed
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
مَحِلُّهَآ
mahilluha
their place of sacrifice
إِلَى
ila
(is) at
ٱلۡبَيۡتِ
al-bayti
the House
ٱلۡعَتِيقِ
al-'atiqi
the Ancient
٣٣
22:34
وَلِكُلِّ
walikulli
And for every
أُمَّةٖ
ummatin
nation
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We have appointed
مَنسَكٗا
mansakan
a rite
لِّيَذۡكُرُواْ
liyadhkuru
that they may mention
ٱسۡمَ
is'ma
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَا
ma
what
رَزَقَهُم
razaqahum
He (has) provided them
مِّنۢ
min
of
بَهِيمَةِ
bahimati
(the) beast
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِۗ
al-an'ami
(of) cattle
فَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ
fa-ilahukum
And your God
إِلَٰهٞ
ilahun
(is) God
وَٰحِدٞ
wahidun
One
فَلَهُۥٓ
falahu
so to Him
أَسۡلِمُواْۗ
aslimu
submit
وَبَشِّرِ
wabashiri
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُخۡبِتِينَ
al-mukh'bitina
(to) the humble ones
٣٤
22:35
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those
إِذَا
idha
when
ذُكِرَ
dhukira
is mentioned
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَجِلَتۡ
wajilat
fear
قُلُوبُهُمۡ
qulubuhum
their hearts
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
wal-sabirina
and those who are patient
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
مَآ
ma
whatever
أَصَابَهُمۡ
asabahum
has afflicted them
وَٱلۡمُقِيمِي
wal-muqimi
and those who establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
al-salati
the prayer
وَمِمَّا
wamimma
and out of what
رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ
razaqnahum
We have provided them
يُنفِقُونَ
yunfiquna
they spend
٣٥
22:36
وَٱلۡبُدۡنَ
wal-bud'na
And the camels and cattle
جَعَلۡنَٰهَا
ja'alnaha
We have made them
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
among
شَعَٰٓئِرِ
sha'airi
(the) Symbols
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
خَيۡرٞۖ
khayrun
(is) good
فَٱذۡكُرُواْ
fa-udh'kuru
So mention
ٱسۡمَ
is'ma
(the) name
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهَا
alayha
over them
صَوَآفَّۖ
sawaffa
(when) lined up
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
and when
وَجَبَتۡ
wajabat
are down
جُنُوبُهَا
junubuha
their sides
فَكُلُواْ
fakulu
then eat
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
from them
وَأَطۡعِمُواْ
wa-at'imu
and feed
ٱلۡقَانِعَ
al-qani'a
the needy who do not ask
وَٱلۡمُعۡتَرَّۚ
wal-mu'tara
and the needy who ask
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
سَخَّرۡنَٰهَا
sakharnaha
We have subjected them
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuruna
be grateful
٣٦
22:37
لَن
lan
Will not
يَنَالَ
yanala
reach
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لُحُومُهَا
luhumuha
their meat
وَلَا
wala
and not
دِمَآؤُهَا
dimauha
their blood
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
يَنَالُهُ
yanaluhu
reaches Him
ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ
al-taqwa
the piety
مِنكُمۡۚ
minkum
from you
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
سَخَّرَهَا
sakharaha
He subjected them
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
لِتُكَبِّرُواْ
litukabbiru
so that you may magnify
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
for
مَا
ma
what
هَدَىٰكُمۡۗ
hadakum
He has guided you
وَبَشِّرِ
wabashiri
And give glad tidings
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
al-muh'sinina
(to) the good-doers
