16:90
۞إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَأۡمُرُ
yamuru
commands
بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ
bil-'adli
justice
وَٱلۡإِحۡسَٰنِ
wal-ih'sani
and the good
وَإِيتَآيِٕ
waitai
and giving
ذِي
dhi
(to) relatives
ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ
al-qur'ba
(to) relatives
وَيَنۡهَىٰ
wayanha
and forbids
عَنِ
ani
[from]
ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ
al-fahshai
the immorality
وَٱلۡمُنكَرِ
wal-munkari
and the bad
وَٱلۡبَغۡيِۚ
wal-baghyi
and the oppression
يَعِظُكُمۡ
ya'izukum
He admonishes you
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkaruna
take heed
٩٠
16:91
وَأَوۡفُواْ
wa-awfu
And fulfil
بِعَهۡدِ
bi'ahdi
the covenant
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِذَا
idha
when
عَٰهَدتُّمۡ
ahadttum
you have taken a covenant
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَنقُضُواْ
tanqudu
break
ٱلۡأَيۡمَٰنَ
al-aymana
oaths
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
تَوۡكِيدِهَا
tawkidiha
their confirmation
وَقَدۡ
waqad
while verily
جَعَلۡتُمُ
ja'altumu
you have made
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
over you
كَفِيلًاۚ
kafilan
a surety
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
ya'lamu
knows
مَا
ma
what
تَفۡعَلُونَ
taf 'aluna
you do
٩١
16:92
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَكُونُواْ
takunu
be
كَٱلَّتِي
ka-allati
like her who
نَقَضَتۡ
naqadat
untwists
غَزۡلَهَا
ghazlaha
her spun yarn
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
قُوَّةٍ
quwwatin
strength
أَنكَٰثٗا
ankathan
(into) untwisted strands
تَتَّخِذُونَ
tattakhidhuna
you take
أَيۡمَٰنَكُمۡ
aymanakum
your oaths
دَخَلَۢا
dakhalan
(as) a deception
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
أَن
an
because
تَكُونَ
takuna
is
أُمَّةٌ
ummatun
a community
هِيَ
hiya
[it]
أَرۡبَىٰ
arba
more numerous
مِنۡ
min
than
أُمَّةٍۚ
ummatin
(another) community
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يَبۡلُوكُمُ
yablukumu
Allah tests you
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah tests you
بِهِۦۚ
bihi
by it
وَلَيُبَيِّنَنَّ
walayubayyinanna
And He will make clear
لَكُمۡ
lakum
to you
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on) the Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
مَا
ma
what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used (to)
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifuna
differ
٩٢
16:93
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
شَآءَ
shaa
Allah (had) willed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (had) willed
لَجَعَلَكُمۡ
laja'alakum
surely He (could) have made you
أُمَّةٗ
ummatan
a nation
وَٰحِدَةٗ
wahidatan
one
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
but
يُضِلُّ
yudillu
He lets go astray
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
وَيَهۡدِي
wayahdi
and guides
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَلَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ
walatus'alunna
And surely you will be questioned
عَمَّا
amma
about what
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you used (to)
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
do
٩٣

16:94
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَتَّخِذُوٓاْ
tattakhidhu
take
أَيۡمَٰنَكُمۡ
aymanakum
your oaths
دَخَلَۢا
dakhalan
(as) a deception
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
فَتَزِلَّ
fatazilla
lest should slip
قَدَمُۢ
qadamun
a foot
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
ثُبُوتِهَا
thubutiha
it is firmly planted
وَتَذُوقُواْ
watadhuqu
and you would taste
ٱلسُّوٓءَ
al-sua
the evil
بِمَا
bima
for what
صَدَدتُّمۡ
sadadttum
you hindered
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَلَكُمۡ
walakum
and for you
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٞ
azimun
great
٩٤
16:95
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَشۡتَرُواْ
tashtaru
exchange
بِعَهۡدِ
bi'ahdi
the covenant
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ثَمَنٗا
thamanan
(for) a price
قَلِيلًاۚ
qalilan
little
إِنَّمَا
innama
Indeed what
عِندَ
inda
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
it
خَيۡرٞ
khayrun
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuntum
you were (to)
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
know
٩٥
16:96
مَا
ma
Whatever
عِندَكُمۡ
indakum
(is) with you
يَنفَدُ
yanfadu
will be exhausted
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
عِندَ
inda
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
بَاقٖۗ
baqin
(will) be remaining
وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّ
walanajziyanna
And surely We will pay
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
صَبَرُوٓاْ
sabaru
(are) patient
أَجۡرَهُم
ajrahum
their reward
بِأَحۡسَنِ
bi-ahsani
to (the) best
مَا
ma
(of) what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
٩٦
16:97
مَنۡ
man
Whoever
عَمِلَ
amila
does
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
righteous deeds
مِّن
min
whether
ذَكَرٍ
dhakarin
male
أَوۡ
aw
or
أُنثَىٰ
untha
female
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
مُؤۡمِنٞ
mu'minun
(is) a believer
فَلَنُحۡيِيَنَّهُۥ
falanuh'yiyannahu
then surely We will give him life
حَيَوٰةٗ
hayatan
a life
طَيِّبَةٗۖ
tayyibatan
good
وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ
walanajziyannahum
and We will pay them
أَجۡرَهُم
ajrahum
their reward
بِأَحۡسَنِ
bi-ahsani
to (the) best
مَا
ma
of what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
do
٩٧
16:98
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
So when
قَرَأۡتَ
qarata
you recite
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
al-qur'ana
the Quran
فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ
fa-is'ta'idh
seek refuge
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ
al-shaytani
the Shaitaan
ٱلرَّجِيمِ
al-rajimi
the accursed
٩٨
16:99
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed he
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
سُلۡطَٰنٌ
sul'tanun
(is) any authority
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَلَىٰ
wa'ala
and upon
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
yatawakkaluna
they put their trust
٩٩
16:100
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
سُلۡطَٰنُهُۥ
sul'tanuhu
his authority
عَلَى
ala
(is) over
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَتَوَلَّوۡنَهُۥ
yatawallawnahu
take him as an ally
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
هُم
hum
[they]
بِهِۦ
bihi
with Him
مُشۡرِكُونَ
mush'rikuna
associate partners

16:101
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
بَدَّلۡنَآ
baddalna
We substitute
ءَايَةٗ
ayatan
a Verse
مَّكَانَ
makana
(in) place
ءَايَةٖ
ayatin
(of) a Verse
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
a'lamu
(is) most knowing
بِمَا
bima
of what
يُنَزِّلُ
yunazzilu
He sends down
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
they say
إِنَّمَآ
innama
Only
أَنتَ
anta
you
مُفۡتَرِۭۚ
muf'tarin
(are) an inventor
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know

16:102
قُلۡ
qul
Say
نَزَّلَهُۥ
nazzalahu
Has brought it down
رُوحُ
ruhu
the Holy Spirit
ٱلۡقُدُسِ
al-qudusi
the Holy Spirit
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
in truth
لِيُثَبِّتَ
liyuthabbita
to make firm
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَهُدٗى
wahudan
and (as) a guidance
وَبُشۡرَىٰ
wabush'ra
and glad tidings
لِلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
lil'mus'limina
to the Muslims

وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
نَعۡلَمُ
na'lamu
We know
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
say
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يُعَلِّمُهُۥ
yu'allimuhu
teaches him
بَشَرٞۗ
basharun
a human being
لِّسَانُ
lisanu
(The) tongue
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(of) the one
يُلۡحِدُونَ
yul'hiduna
they refer
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to him
أَعۡجَمِيّٞ
a'jamiyyun
(is) foreign
وَهَٰذَا
wahadha
while this
لِسَانٌ
lisanun
(is) a language
عَرَبِيّٞ
arabiyyun
Arabic
مُّبِينٌ
mubinun
clear
١٠٣
16:104
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
in the Verses
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لَا
la
not
يَهۡدِيهِمُ
yahdihimu
Allah will guide them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah will guide them
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
alimun
painful
١٠٤
16:105
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
يَفۡتَرِي
yaftari
they invent
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
al-kadhiba
the falsehood
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biayati
in the Verses
ٱللَّهِۖ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulaika
and those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡكَٰذِبُونَ
al-kadhibuna
(are) the liars
١٠٥
16:106
مَن
man
Whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
إِيمَٰنِهِۦٓ
imanihi
his belief
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَنۡ
man
(one) who
أُكۡرِهَ
uk'riha
is forced
وَقَلۡبُهُۥ
waqalbuhu
while his heart
مُطۡمَئِنُّۢ
mut'ma-innun
(is) content
بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ
bil-imani
with the faith
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
But
مَّن
man
(one) who
شَرَحَ
sharaha
opens
بِٱلۡكُفۡرِ
bil-kuf'ri
to disbelief
صَدۡرٗا
sadran
(his) breast
فَعَلَيۡهِمۡ
fa'alayhim
then upon them
غَضَبٞ
ghadabun
(is) a wrath
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٞ
azimun
great
١٠٦
16:107
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That (is)
بِأَنَّهُمُ
bi-annahumu
because
ٱسۡتَحَبُّواْ
is'tahabbu
they preferred
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ
al-hayata
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
عَلَى
ala
over
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
١٠٧
16:108
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(are) the ones
طَبَعَ
taba'a
Allah has set a seal
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah has set a seal
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
qulubihim
their hearts
وَسَمۡعِهِمۡ
wasam'ihim
and their hearing
وَأَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡۖ
wa-absarihim
and their sight
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ulaika
And those
هُمُ
humu
they are
ٱلۡغَٰفِلُونَ
al-ghafiluna
the heedless
١٠٨
16:109
لَا
la
No
جَرَمَ
jarama
doubt
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(are) the losers
١٠٩
16:110
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
هَاجَرُواْ
hajaru
emigrated
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعۡدِ
ba'di
after
مَا
ma
what
فُتِنُواْ
futinu
they had been put to trials
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
جَٰهَدُواْ
jahadu
strove hard
وَصَبَرُوٓاْ
wasabaru
and were patient
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
مِنۢ
min
after it
بَعۡدِهَا
ba'diha
after it
لَغَفُورٞ
laghafurun
surely is Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
