16:75
۞ضَرَبَ
daraba
Allah sets forth
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah sets forth
مَثَلًا
mathalan
the example
عَبۡدٗا
abdan
(of) a slave
مَّمۡلُوكٗا
mamlukan
(who is) owned
لَّا
la
not
يَقۡدِرُ
yaqdiru
he has power
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
anything
وَمَن
waman
and (one) whom
رَّزَقۡنَٰهُ
razaqnahu
We provided him
مِنَّا
minna
from Us
رِزۡقًا
riz'qan
a provision
حَسَنٗا
hasanan
good
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
so he
يُنفِقُ
yunfiqu
spends
مِنۡهُ
min'hu
from it
سِرّٗا
sirran
secretly
وَجَهۡرًاۖ
wajahran
and publicly
هَلۡ
hal
Can
يَسۡتَوُۥنَۚ
yastawuna
they be equal
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All praise
لِلَّهِۚ
lillahi
(is) for Allah
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
but most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٧٥
16:76
وَضَرَبَ
wadaraba
And Allah sets forth
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
And Allah sets forth
مَثَلٗا
mathalan
an example
رَّجُلَيۡنِ
rajulayni
(of) two men
أَحَدُهُمَآ
ahaduhuma
one of them
أَبۡكَمُ
abkamu
(is) dumb
لَا
la
not
يَقۡدِرُ
yaqdiru
he has power
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
anything
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
كَلٌّ
kallun
(is) a burden
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
مَوۡلَىٰهُ
mawlahu
his master
أَيۡنَمَا
aynama
Wherever
يُوَجِّههُّ
yuwajjihhu
he directs him
لَا
la
not
يَأۡتِ
yati
he comes
بِخَيۡرٍ
bikhayrin
with any good
هَلۡ
hal
Is
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawi
equal
هُوَ
huwa
he
وَمَن
waman
and (the one) who
يَأۡمُرُ
yamuru
commands
بِٱلۡعَدۡلِ
bil-'adli
[of] justice
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and he
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
صِرَٰطٖ
siratin
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
mus'taqimin
straight
٧٦
16:77
وَلِلَّهِ
walillahi
And to Allah (belongs)
غَيۡبُ
ghaybu
(the) unseen
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَمَآ
wama
And not
أَمۡرُ
amru
(is the) matter
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
al-sa'ati
(of) the Hour
إِلَّا
illa
but
كَلَمۡحِ
kalamhi
as a twinkling
ٱلۡبَصَرِ
al-basari
(of) the eye
أَوۡ
aw
or
هُوَ
huwa
it
أَقۡرَبُۚ
aqrabu
(is) nearer
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
(is) All-Powerful
٧٧
16:78
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
أَخۡرَجَكُم
akhrajakum
brought you forth
مِّنۢ
min
from
بُطُونِ
butuni
the wombs
أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ
ummahatikum
(of) your mothers
لَا
la
not
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
knowing
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلسَّمۡعَ
al-sam'a
the hearing
وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ
wal-absara
and the sight
وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَ
wal-afidata
and the hearts
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuruna
give thanks
٧٨
16:79
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
إِلَى
ila
towards
ٱلطَّيۡرِ
al-tayri
the birds
مُسَخَّرَٰتٖ
musakharatin
controlled
فِي
fi
in
جَوِّ
jawwi
the midst
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
(of) the sky
مَا
ma
None
يُمۡسِكُهُنَّ
yum'sikuhunna
holds them up
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laayatin
(are) Signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
who believe
٧٩

16:80
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
(has) made
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۢ
min
[from]
بُيُوتِكُمۡ
buyutikum
your homes
سَكَنٗا
sakanan
a resting place
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
from
جُلُودِ
juludi
the hides
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
al-an'ami
(of) the cattle
بُيُوتٗا
buyutan
tents
تَسۡتَخِفُّونَهَا
tastakhiffunaha
which you find light
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on) the day
ظَعۡنِكُمۡ
za'nikum
(of) your travel
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
and the day
إِقَامَتِكُمۡ
iqamatikum
(of) your encampment
وَمِنۡ
wamin
and from
أَصۡوَافِهَا
aswafiha
their wool
وَأَوۡبَارِهَا
wa-awbariha
and their fur
وَأَشۡعَارِهَآ
wa-ash'ariha
and their hair
أَثَٰثٗا
athathan
(is) furnishing
وَمَتَٰعًا
wamata'an
and a provision
إِلَىٰ
ila
for
حِينٖ
hinin
a time
٨٠
16:81
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
(has) made
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّمَّا
mimma
from what
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
He created
ظِلَٰلٗا
zilalan
shades
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and (has) made
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡجِبَالِ
al-jibali
the mountains
أَكۡنَٰنٗا
aknanan
shelters
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and (has) made
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
سَرَٰبِيلَ
sarabila
garments
تَقِيكُمُ
taqikumu
to protect you
ٱلۡحَرَّ
al-hara
(from) the heat
وَسَرَٰبِيلَ
wasarabila
and garments
تَقِيكُم
taqikum
to protect you
بَأۡسَكُمۡۚ
basakum
from your (mutual) violence
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Thus
يُتِمُّ
yutimmu
He completes
نِعۡمَتَهُۥ
ni'matahu
His Favor
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تُسۡلِمُونَ
tus'limuna
submit
٨١
16:82
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
they turn away
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
upon you
ٱلۡبَلَٰغُ
al-balaghu
(is) the conveyance
ٱلۡمُبِينُ
al-mubinu
the clear
٨٢
16:83
يَعۡرِفُونَ
ya'rifuna
They recognize
نِعۡمَتَ
ni'mata
(the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُنكِرُونَهَا
yunkirunaha
they deny it
وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ
wa-aktharuhumu
And most of them
ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
al-kafiruna
(are) the disbelievers
٨٣
16:84
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And the Day
نَبۡعَثُ
nab'athu
We will resurrect
مِن
min
from
كُلِّ
kulli
every
أُمَّةٖ
ummatin
nation
شَهِيدٗا
shahidan
a witness
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَا
la
not
يُؤۡذَنُ
yu'dhanu
will be permitted
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
to those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ
yus'ta'tabuna
will be asked to make amends
٨٤
16:85
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
رَءَا
raa
(will) see
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ظَلَمُواْ
zalamu
wronged
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
al-'adhaba
the punishment
فَلَا
fala
then not
يُخَفَّفُ
yukhaffafu
it will be lightened
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
for them
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنظَرُونَ
yunzaruna
will be given respite
٨٥
16:86
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
رَءَا
raa
(will) see
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أَشۡرَكُواْ
ashraku
associated partners with Allah
شُرَكَآءَهُمۡ
shurakaahum
their partners
قَالُواْ
qalu
They will say
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
شُرَكَآؤُنَا
shurakauna
(are) our partners
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
كُنَّا
kunna
we used to
نَدۡعُواْ
nad'u
invoke
مِن
min
besides You
دُونِكَۖ
dunika
besides You
فَأَلۡقَوۡاْ
fa-alqaw
But they (will) throw back
إِلَيۡهِمُ
ilayhimu
at them
ٱلۡقَوۡلَ
al-qawla
(their) word
إِنَّكُمۡ
innakum
Indeed you
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
lakadhibuna
(are) surely liars
٨٦
16:87
وَأَلۡقَوۡاْ
wa-alqaw
And they (will) offer
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
يَوۡمَئِذٍ
yawma-idhin
(on) that Day
ٱلسَّلَمَۖ
al-salama
the submission
وَضَلَّ
wadalla
and (is) lost
عَنۡهُم
anhum
from them
مَّا
ma
what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
invent
٨٧

16:88
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
And those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
وَصَدُّواْ
wasaddu
and hindered
عَن
an
from
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
زِدۡنَٰهُمۡ
zid'nahum
We will increase them
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
(in) punishment
فَوۡقَ
fawqa
over
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
al-'adhabi
punishment
بِمَا
bima
because
كَانُواْ
kanu
they used (to)
يُفۡسِدُونَ
yuf'siduna
spread corruption
٨٨
16:89
وَيَوۡمَ
wayawma
And the Day
نَبۡعَثُ
nab'athu
We will resurrect
فِي
fi
among
كُلِّ
kulli
every
أُمَّةٖ
ummatin
nation
شَهِيدًا
shahidan
a witness
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
over them
مِّنۡ
min
from
أَنفُسِهِمۡۖ
anfusihim
themselves
وَجِئۡنَا
waji'na
And We (will) bring
بِكَ
bika
you
شَهِيدًا
shahidan
(as) a witness
عَلَىٰ
ala
over
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِۚ
haulai
these
وَنَزَّلۡنَا
wanazzalna
And We sent down
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
تِبۡيَٰنٗا
tib'yanan
(as) a clarification
لِّكُلِّ
likulli
of every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
وَهُدٗى
wahudan
and a guidance
وَرَحۡمَةٗ
warahmatan
and mercy
وَبُشۡرَىٰ
wabush'ra
and glad tidings
لِلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
lil'mus'limina
for the Muslims
٨٩
