۞قَالَتۡ
qalat
Said
رُسُلُهُمۡ
rusuluhum
their Messengers
أَفِي
afi
Can (there) be about
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
شَكّٞ
shakkun
any doubt
فَاطِرِ
fatiri
(the) Creator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
يَدۡعُوكُمۡ
yad'ukum
He invites you
لِيَغۡفِرَ
liyaghfira
so that He may forgive
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
[of]
ذُنُوبِكُمۡ
dhunubikum
your sins
وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ
wayu-akhirakum
and give you respite
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمّٗىۚ
musamman
appointed
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
إِنۡ

Not
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
إِلَّا
illa
(are) but
بَشَرٞ
basharun
a human
مِّثۡلُنَا
mith'luna
like us
تُرِيدُونَ
turiduna
you wish
أَن
an

تَصُدُّونَا
tasudduna
hinder us
عَمَّا
amma
from what
كَانَ
kana
used to
يَعۡبُدُ
ya'budu
worship
ءَابَآؤُنَا
abauna
our forefathers
فَأۡتُونَا
fatuna
So bring us
بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
bisul'tanin
an authority
مُّبِينٖ
mubinin
clear
