۞قَالَتۡ
Q̣aalat
Said
رُسُلُهُمۡ
rusuluhum
their Messengers
أَفِي
ʹafil
Can (there) be about
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
شَكّٞ
shakkuñ
any doubt
فَاطِرِ
Faaṭiris
(the) Creator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ʹarḍ?
and the earth
يَدۡعُوكُمۡ
Yadʻookum
He invites you
لِيَغۡفِرَ
liyag̣fira
so that He may forgive
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
miñ
[of]
ذُنُوبِكُمۡ
ẓunoobikum
your sins
وَيُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ
wa-yuʹakhkhirakum
and give you respite
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
for
أَجَلٖ
ʹajalim
a term
مُّسَمّٗىۚ
musammaa!
appointed
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(are) but
بَشَرٞ
basharum
a human
مِّثۡلُنَا
mis̤lunaa!
like us
تُرِيدُونَ
Tureedoona
you wish
أَن
ʹañ
to
تَصُدُّونَا
taṣuddoonaa
hinder us
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
from what
كَانَ
kaana
used to
يَعۡبُدُ
yaʻbudu
worship
ءَابَآؤُنَا
ʹaabaaaʹunaa
our forefathers
فَأۡتُونَا
faʹtoonaa
So bring us
بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ
bisulṭaanim
an authority
مُّبِينٖ
mubeen.
