بِأَعۡدَآئِكُمۡۚ
bi-a'daikum
about your enemies
وَكَفَىٰ

and (is) sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
Allah
وَلِيّٗا
waliyyan
(as) a Protector
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
and sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
(is) Allah
نَصِيرٗا
nasiran
(as) a Helper
٤٥
4:46
مِّنَ
mina
Of
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
هَادُواْ
hadu
are Jews
يُحَرِّفُونَ
yuharrifuna
they distort
ٱلۡكَلِمَ
al-kalima
the words
عَن
an
from
مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ
mawadi'ihi
their places
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
and they say
سَمِعۡنَا
sami'na
We hear[d]
وَعَصَيۡنَا
wa'asayna
and we disobey[ed]
وَٱسۡمَعۡ
wa-is'ma'
and Hear
غَيۡرَ
ghayra
not
مُسۡمَعٖ
mus'ma'in
to be heard
وَرَٰعِنَا
wara'ina
and Raina
لَيَّۢا
layyan
twisting
بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِمۡ
bi-alsinatihim
[with] their tongues
وَطَعۡنٗا
wata'nan
and defaming
فِي
fi
[in]
ٱلدِّينِۚ
al-dini
the religion
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
[that] they
قَالُواْ
qalu
(had) said
سَمِعۡنَا
sami'na
We hear[d]
وَأَطَعۡنَا
wa-ata'na
and we obey[ed]
وَٱسۡمَعۡ
wa-is'ma'
and Hear
وَٱنظُرۡنَا
wa-unzur'na
and look (at) us
لَكَانَ
lakana
surely it (would) have been
خَيۡرٗا
khayran
better
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَأَقۡوَمَ
wa-aqwama
and more suitable
وَلَٰكِن
walakin
[And] but
لَّعَنَهُمُ
la'anahumu
cursed them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ
bikuf'rihim
for their disbelief
فَلَا
fala
so not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
they believe
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a few
٤٦
4:47
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
أُوتُواْ
utu
(have) been given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
ءَامِنُواْ
aminu
believe
بِمَا
bima
in what
نَزَّلۡنَا
nazzalna
We (have) revealed
مُصَدِّقٗا
musaddiqan
confirming
لِّمَا
lima
what is
مَعَكُم
ma'akum
with you
مِّن
min
from
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
نَّطۡمِسَ
natmisa
We efface
وُجُوهٗا
wujuhan
faces
فَنَرُدَّهَا
fanaruddaha
and turn them
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
on
أَدۡبَارِهَآ
adbariha
their backs
أَوۡ
aw
or
نَلۡعَنَهُمۡ
nal'anahum
We curse them
كَمَا
kama
as
لَعَنَّآ
la'anna
We cursed
أَصۡحَٰبَ
ashaba
companions
ٱلسَّبۡتِۚ
al-sabti
(of) the Sabbath
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
أَمۡرُ
amru
(the) command
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
مَفۡعُولًا
maf'ulan
(always) executed
٤٧
4:48
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَغۡفِرُ
yaghfiru
forgive
أَن
an
that
يُشۡرَكَ
yush'raka
partners be associated
بِهِۦ
bihi
with Him
وَيَغۡفِرُ
wayaghfiru
but He forgives
مَا
ma
from
دُونَ
duna
other than
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لِمَن
liman
for whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُشۡرِكۡ
yush'rik
associates partners
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
with Allah
فَقَدِ
faqadi
then surely
ٱفۡتَرَىٰٓ
if'tara
he has fabricated
إِثۡمًا
ith'man
a sin
عَظِيمًا
aziman
tremendous
٤٨
4:49
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يُزَكُّونَ
yuzakkuna
claim purity
أَنفُسَهُمۚ
anfusahum
(for) themselves
بَلِ
bali
Nay
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(it is) Allah
يُزَكِّي
yuzakki
He purifies
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz'lamuna
they will be wronged
فَتِيلًا
fatilan
(even as much as) a hair on a date-seed
٤٩
4:50
ٱنظُرۡ
unzur
See
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaruna
they invent
عَلَى
ala
about
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَۖ
al-kadhiba
[the] lie
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
and sufficient
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
is it
إِثۡمٗا
ith'man
(as) a sin
مُّبِينًا
mubinan
manifest
٥٠
4:51
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ila
[towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
نَصِيبٗا
nasiban
a portion
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
the Book
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
They believe
بِٱلۡجِبۡتِ
bil-jib'ti
in the superstition
وَٱلطَّٰغُوتِ
wal-taghuti
and the false deities
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
and they say
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhina
for those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve[d]
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
These
أَهۡدَىٰ
ahda
(are) better guided
مِنَ
mina
than
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe[d]
سَبِيلًا
sabilan
(as to the) way
