وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
knows better
بِأَعۡدَآئِكُمۡۚ
biʹaʻdaaaʹikum;
about your enemies
وَكَفَىٰ
wa-kafaa
and (is) sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
Allah
وَلِيّٗا
Waliyyañw
(as) a Protector
وَكَفَىٰ
Wakafaa
and sufficient
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
(is) Allah
نَصِيرٗا
Naṣeeraa.
(as) a Helper
٤٥
4:46
مِّنَ
Minal
Of
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
هَادُواْ
haadoo
are Jews
يُحَرِّفُونَ
yuḥarrifoonal
they distort
ٱلۡكَلِمَ
kalima
the words
عَن
ʻam
from
مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ
mawaaḍiʻihee
their places
وَيَقُولُونَ
wa-yaq̣ooloona
and they say
سَمِعۡنَا
samiʻnaa
We hear[d]
وَعَصَيۡنَا
wa-ʻaṣaynaa
and we disobey[ed]
وَٱسۡمَعۡ
wasmaʻ
and Hear
غَيۡرَ
g̣ayra
not
مُسۡمَعٖ
musmaʻiñw
to be heard
وَرَٰعِنَا
waraaʻinaa
and Raina
لَيَّۢا
lay-yam
twisting
بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِمۡ
biʹalsinatihim
[with] their tongues
وَطَعۡنٗا
waṭaʻnañ
and defaming
فِي
fid
[in]
ٱلدِّينِۚ
deen.
the religion
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
[that] they
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
(had) said
سَمِعۡنَا
samiʻnaa
We hear[d]
وَأَطَعۡنَا
wa-ʹaṭaʻnaa
and we obey[ed]
وَٱسۡمَعۡ
wasmaʻ
and Hear
وَٱنظُرۡنَا
wañz̤̣urnaa
and look (at) us
لَكَانَ
lakaana
surely it (would) have been
خَيۡرٗا
khayral
better
لَّهُمۡ
lahum
for them
وَأَقۡوَمَ
wa-ʹaq̣wama
and more suitable
وَلَٰكِن
wa-laakil
[And] but
لَّعَنَهُمُ
laʻanahumul
cursed them
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ
bikufrihim
for their disbelief
فَلَا
falaa
so not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
they believe
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelaa.
a few
٤٦
4:47
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootul
(have) been given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
ءَامِنُواْ
ʹaaminoo
believe
بِمَا
bimaa
in what
نَزَّلۡنَا
nazzalnaa
We (have) revealed
مُصَدِّقٗا
muṣaddiq̣al
confirming
لِّمَا
limaa
what is
مَعَكُم
maʻakum
with you
مِّن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
نَّطۡمِسَ
naṭmisa
We efface
وُجُوهٗا
wujoohañ
faces
فَنَرُدَّهَا
fanaruddahaa
and turn them
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
on
أَدۡبَارِهَآ
ʹadbaarihaaa
their backs
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
نَلۡعَنَهُمۡ
nalʻanahum
We curse them
كَمَا
kamaa
as
لَعَنَّآ
laʻannaaa
We cursed
أَصۡحَٰبَ
ʹAṣḥaabas
companions
ٱلسَّبۡتِۚ
Sabt.
(of) the Sabbath
وَكَانَ
Wa-kaana
And is
أَمۡرُ
ʹamrul
(the) command
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
مَفۡعُولًا
mafʻoolaa.
(always) executed
٤٧
4:48
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يَغۡفِرُ
yag̣firu
forgive
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُشۡرَكَ
yushraka
partners be associated
بِهِۦ
bihee
with Him
وَيَغۡفِرُ
wayag̣firu
but He forgives
مَا
maa-
from
دُونَ
doona
other than
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لِمَن
limañy
for whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ.
He wills
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يُشۡرِكۡ
yushrik
associates partners
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
with Allah
فَقَدِ
faq̣adif
then surely
ٱفۡتَرَىٰٓ
taraaa
he has fabricated
إِثۡمًا
ʹis̤man
a sin
عَظِيمًا
ʻa-Z̤̣eemaa.
tremendous
٤٨
4:49
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ʹilal
[towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يُزَكُّونَ
yuzakkoona
claim purity
أَنفُسَهُمۚ
ʹañfusahum?
(for) themselves
بَلِ
Balil
Nay
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(it is) Allah
يُزَكِّي
yuzakkee
He purifies
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoona
they will be wronged
فَتِيلًا
fateela.
(even as much as) a hair on a date-seed
٤٩
4:50
ٱنظُرۡ
ʹUñz̤̣ur
See
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaroona
they invent
عَلَى
ʻalal
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahil
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَۖ
kaẓib!
[the] lie
وَكَفَىٰ
wa-kafaa
and sufficient
بِهِۦٓ
biheee
is it
إِثۡمٗا
ʹiṣmam
(as) a sin
مُّبِينًا
mubeenaa!
manifest
٥٠
4:51
أَلَمۡ
ʹAlam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
إِلَى
ʹilal
[towards]
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
أُوتُواْ
ʹootoo
were given
نَصِيبٗا
naṣeebam
a portion
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
Kitaabi
the Book
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
They believe
بِٱلۡجِبۡتِ
bil-Jibti
in the superstition
وَٱلطَّٰغُوتِ
waṭ-Ṭaag̣ooti
and the false deities
وَيَقُولُونَ
wa-yaq̣ooloona
and they say
لِلَّذِينَ
lillaẓeena
for those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve[d]
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
These
أَهۡدَىٰ
ʹahdaa
(are) better guided
مِنَ
minal
than
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe[d]
سَبِيلًا
sabeelaa?
(as to the) way
