3:187
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
أَخَذَ
akhadha
took
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
مِيثَٰقَ
mithaqa
a Covenant
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(from) those who
أُوتُواْ
utu
were given
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ
latubayyinunnahu
You certainly make it clear
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
to the mankind
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَكۡتُمُونَهُۥ
taktumunahu
conceal it
فَنَبَذُوهُ
fanabadhuhu
Then they threw it
وَرَآءَ
waraa
behind
ظُهُورِهِمۡ
zuhurihim
their backs
وَٱشۡتَرَوۡاْ
wa-ish'taraw
and they exchanged
بِهِۦ
bihi
[with] it
ثَمَنٗا
thamanan
(for) a price
قَلِيلٗاۖ
qalilan
little
فَبِئۡسَ
fabi'sa
And wretched
مَا
ma
(is) what
يَشۡتَرُونَ
yashtaruna
they purchase
١٨٧
3:188
لَا
la
(Do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّ
tahsabanna
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(that) those who
يَفۡرَحُونَ
yafrahuna
rejoice
بِمَآ
bima
in what
أَتَواْ
ataw
(they have) brought
وَّيُحِبُّونَ
wayuhibbuna
and they love
أَن
an
that
يُحۡمَدُواْ
yuh'madu
they be praised
بِمَا
bima
for what
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَفۡعَلُواْ
yaf 'alu
they do
فَلَا
fala
so (do) not
تَحۡسَبَنَّهُم
tahsabannahum
think (that) they
بِمَفَازَةٖ
bimafazatin
(will) escape
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡعَذَابِۖ
al-'adhabi
the punishment
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is a) punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
١٨٨
3:189
وَلِلَّهِ
walillahi
And for Allah
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
(is the) dominion
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌ
qadirun
All-Powerful
١٨٩
3:190
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
خَلۡقِ
khalqi
(the) creation
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ
wa-ikh'tilafi
and (in the) alternation
ٱلَّيۡلِ
al-layli
(of) the night
وَٱلنَّهَارِ
wal-nahari
and the day
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laayatin
(are) surely Signs
لِّأُوْلِي
li-uli
for men
ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
al-albabi
(of) understanding
١٩٠
3:191
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those who
يَذۡكُرُونَ
yadhkuruna
remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
قِيَٰمٗا
qiyaman
standing
وَقُعُودٗا
waqu'udan
and sitting
وَعَلَىٰ
wa'ala
and on
جُنُوبِهِمۡ
junubihim
their sides
وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ
wayatafakkaruna
and they reflect
فِي
fi
on
خَلۡقِ
khalqi
(the) creation
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
مَا
ma
not
خَلَقۡتَ
khalaqta
You have created
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
بَٰطِلٗا
batilan
(in) vain
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
sub'hanaka
Glory be to You
فَقِنَا
faqina
so save us
عَذَابَ
adhaba
(from the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
١٩١
3:192
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنَّكَ
innaka
indeed [You]
مَن
man
whom
تُدۡخِلِ
tud'khili
You admit
ٱلنَّارَ
al-nara
(to) the Fire
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then surely
أَخۡزَيۡتَهُۥۖ
akhzaytahu
You (have) disgraced him
وَمَا
wama
and not
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
lilzzalimina
for the wrongdoers
مِنۡ
min
(are) any
أَنصَارٖ
ansarin
helpers
١٩٢
3:193
رَّبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
إِنَّنَا
innana
indeed we
سَمِعۡنَا
sami'na
[we] heard
مُنَادِيٗا
munadiyan
a caller
يُنَادِي
yunadi
calling
لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ
lil'imani
to the faith
أَنۡ
an
that
ءَامِنُواْ
aminu
Believe
بِرَبِّكُمۡ
birabbikum
in your Lord
فَـَٔامَنَّاۚ
faamanna
so we have believed
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
فَٱغۡفِرۡ
fa-igh'fir
so forgive
لَنَا
lana
for us
ذُنُوبَنَا
dhunubana
our sins
وَكَفِّرۡ
wakaffir
and remove
عَنَّا
anna
from us
سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا
sayyiatina
our evil deeds
وَتَوَفَّنَا
watawaffana
and cause us to die
مَعَ
ma'a
with
ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ
al-abrari
the righteous
١٩٣
3:194
رَبَّنَا
rabbana
Our Lord
وَءَاتِنَا
waatina
grant us
مَا
ma
what
وَعَدتَّنَا
wa'adttana
You promised us
عَلَىٰ
ala
through
رُسُلِكَ
rusulika
Your Messengers
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُخۡزِنَا
tukh'zina
disgrace us
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ
al-qiyamati
(of) [the] Resurrection
إِنَّكَ
innaka
Indeed You
لَا
la
(do) not
تُخۡلِفُ
tukh'lifu
break
ٱلۡمِيعَادَ
al-mi'ada
the promise
١٩٤
