85:7وَهُمۡwahumAnd theyعَلَىٰalaoverمَاmawhatيَفۡعَلُونَyaf 'alunathey were doingبِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَbil-mu'mininato the believersشُهُودٞshuhudunwitnesses٧
85:8وَمَاwamaAnd notنَقَمُواْnaqamuthey resentedمِنۡهُمۡmin'hum[of] themإِلَّآillaexceptأَنanthatيُؤۡمِنُواْyu'minuthey believedبِٱللَّهِbil-lahiin Allahٱلۡعَزِيزِal-'azizithe All-Mightyٱلۡحَمِيدِal-hamidithe Praiseworthy٨
85:9ٱلَّذِيalladhiThe One Whoلَهُۥlahufor Himمُلۡكُmul'ku(is) the dominionٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚwal-ardiand the earthوَٱللَّهُwal-lahuand Allahعَلَىٰalaonكُلِّkullieveryشَيۡءٖshayinthingشَهِيدٌshahidun(is) a Witness٩
85:10إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoفَتَنُواْfatanupersecutedٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَal-mu'mininathe believing menوَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِwal-mu'minatiand the believing womenثُمَّthummathenلَمۡlamnotيَتُوبُواْyatubuthey repentedفَلَهُمۡfalahumthen for themعَذَابُadhabu(is the) punishmentجَهَنَّمَjahannama(of) Hellوَلَهُمۡwalahumand for themعَذَابُadhabu(is the) punishmentٱلۡحَرِيقِal-hariqi(of) the Burning Fire١٠
85:11إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoءَامَنُواْamanubelieveوَعَمِلُواْwa'amiluand doٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِal-salihatithe righteous deedsلَهُمۡlahumfor themجَنَّٰتٞjannatun(will be) Gardensتَجۡرِيtajriflowمِنminfromتَحۡتِهَاtahtihaunderneath itٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚal-anharuthe riversذَٰلِكَdhalikaThatٱلۡفَوۡزُal-fawzu(is) the successٱلۡكَبِيرُal-kabiruthe great١١
85:12إِنَّinnaIndeedبَطۡشَbatsha(the) Gripرَبِّكَrabbika(of) your Lordلَشَدِيدٌlashadidun(is) surely strong١٢
85:14وَهُوَwahuwaAnd Heٱلۡغَفُورُal-ghafuru(is) the Oft-Forgivingٱلۡوَدُودُal-waduduthe Most Loving١٤
85:19بَلِbaliNayٱلَّذِينَalladhinaThose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelieveفِيfi(are) inتَكۡذِيبٖtakdhibindenial١٩
