ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi

تَلۡبِسُونَ
talbisuna
do you mix
ٱلۡحَقَّ
al-haqa
the truth
بِٱلۡبَٰطِلِ
bil-batili
with the falsehood
وَتَكۡتُمُونَ
wataktumuna
and conceal
ٱلۡحَقَّ
al-haqa
the truth
وَأَنتُمۡ
wa-antum
while you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
ta'lamuna
know
٧١
3:72
وَقَالَت
waqalat
And said
طَّآئِفَةٞ
taifatun
a group
مِّنۡ
min
of
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
ءَامِنُواْ
aminu
Believe
بِٱلَّذِيٓ
bi-alladhi
in what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
was revealed
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe[d]
وَجۡهَ
wajha
(at the) beginning
ٱلنَّهَارِ
al-nahari
(of) the day
وَٱكۡفُرُوٓاْ
wa-uk'furu
and reject
ءَاخِرَهُۥ
akhirahu
(at) its end
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
perhaps they may
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarji'una
return
٧٢
3:73
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ
tu'minu
believe
إِلَّا
illa
except
لِمَن
liman
(the one) who
تَبِعَ
tabi'a
follows
دِينَكُمۡ
dinakum
your religion
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
al-huda
the (true) guidance
هُدَى
huda
(is the) Guidance
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أَن
an
lest
يُؤۡتَىٰٓ
yu'ta
is given
أَحَدٞ
ahadun
(to) one
مِّثۡلَ
mith'la
(the) like
مَآ
ma
(of) what
أُوتِيتُمۡ
utitum
was given to you
أَوۡ
aw
or
يُحَآجُّوكُمۡ
yuhajjukum
they may argue with you
عِندَ
inda
near
رَبِّكُمۡۗ
rabbikum
your Lord
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡفَضۡلَ
al-fadla
the Bounty
بِيَدِ
biyadi
(is) in the Hand
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
يُؤۡتِيهِ
yu'tihi
He gives it
مَن
man
(to) whom
يَشَآءُۗ
yashau
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
wasi'un
(is) All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
All-Knowing
٧٣
3:74
يَخۡتَصُّ
yakhtassu
He chooses
بِرَحۡمَتِهِۦ
birahmatihi
for His Mercy
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُۗ
yashau
He wills
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
ذُو
dhu
(is) the Possessor
ٱلۡفَضۡلِ
al-fadli
(of) Bounty
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
al-'azimi
[the] great
٧٤
3:75
۞وَمِنۡ
wamin
And from
أَهۡلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
مَنۡ
man
(is he) who
إِن
in
if
تَأۡمَنۡهُ
tamanhu
you entrust him
بِقِنطَارٖ
biqintarin
with a great amount of wealth
يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ
yu-addihi
he will return it
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
وَمِنۡهُم
wamin'hum
And from them
مَّنۡ
man
(is he) who
إِن
in
if
تَأۡمَنۡهُ
tamanhu
you entrust him
بِدِينَارٖ
bidinarin
with a single coin
لَّا
la
not
يُؤَدِّهِۦٓ
yu-addihi
he will return it
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَا
ma
that
دُمۡتَ
dum'ta
you keep constantly
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
over him
قَآئِمٗاۗ
qaiman
standing
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
قَالُواْ
qalu
said
لَيۡسَ
laysa
Not
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
on us
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلۡأُمِّيِّـۧنَ
al-umiyina
the unlettered people
سَبِيلٞ
sabilun
any [way] (accountability)
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaquluna
And they say
عَلَى
ala
about
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
ٱلۡكَذِبَ
al-kadhiba
the lie
وَهُمۡ
wahum
while they
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٧٥
3:76
بَلَىٰۚ
bala
Nay
مَنۡ
man
whoever
أَوۡفَىٰ
awfa
fulfills
بِعَهۡدِهِۦ
bi'ahdihi
his covenant
وَٱتَّقَىٰ
wa-ittaqa
and fears (Allah)
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
loves
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
al-mutaqina
those who fear (Him)
٧٦
3:77
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَشۡتَرُونَ
yashtaruna
exchange
بِعَهۡدِ
bi'ahdi
(the) Covenant
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَأَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
wa-aymanihim
and their oaths
ثَمَنٗا
thamanan
(for) a price
قَلِيلًا
qalilan
little
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
those
لَا
la
no
خَلَٰقَ
khalaqa
share
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُكَلِّمُهُمُ
yukallimuhumu
will speak to them
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَنظُرُ
yanzuru
look
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
at them
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُزَكِّيهِمۡ
yuzakkihim
purify them
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٧٧
