65:1
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhan
O
ٱلنَّبِيُّ
Nabiyyu
Prophet
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
When
طَلَّقۡتُمُ
ṭallaq̣tumun
you divorce
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
nisaaaʹa
[the] women
فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ
faṭalliq̣oohunna
then divorce them
لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ
liʻiddatihinna
for their waiting period
وَأَحۡصُواْ
wa-ʹaḥṣul
and keep count
ٱلۡعِدَّةَۖ
ʻiddah;
(of) the waiting period
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wattaq̣ul
and fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
رَبَّكُمۡۖ
Rabbakum:
your Lord
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تُخۡرِجُوهُنَّ
tukhrijoohunna
expel them
مِنۢ
mim
from
بُيُوتِهِنَّ
buyootihinna
their houses
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَخۡرُجۡنَ
yakhrujna
they should leave
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَأۡتِينَ
yaʹteena
they commit
بِفَٰحِشَةٖ
bifaaḥishatim
an immorality
مُّبَيِّنَةٖۚ
mubayyinah.
clear
وَتِلۡكَ
Wa-tilka
And these
حُدُودُ
ḥudoodul
(are the) limits
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And whoever
يَتَعَدَّ
yataʻadda
transgresses
حُدُودَ
ḥudoodal
(the) limits
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فَقَدۡ
faq̣ad
then certainly
ظَلَمَ
z̤̣alama
he has wronged
نَفۡسَهُۥۚ
nafsah:
himself
لَا
laa-
Not
تَدۡرِي
tadree
you know
لَعَلَّ
laʻallal
Perhaps
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُحۡدِثُ
yuḥdis̤u
will bring about
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
أَمۡرٗا
ʹamraa.
a matter
١
65:2
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
Then when
بَلَغۡنَ
balag̣na
they have reached
أَجَلَهُنَّ
ʹajalahunna
their term
فَأَمۡسِكُوهُنَّ
faʹamsikoohunna
then retain them
بِمَعۡرُوفٍ
bimaʻroofin
with kindness
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
فَارِقُوهُنَّ
faariq̣oohunna
part with them
بِمَعۡرُوفٖ
bimaʻroofiñw
with kindness
وَأَشۡهِدُواْ
waʹashhidoo
And take witness
ذَوَيۡ
ẓaway
two men
عَدۡلٖ
ʻadlim
just
مِّنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
وَأَقِيمُواْ
wa-ʹaq̣eemush
and establish
ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَ
shahaadata
the testimony
لِلَّهِۚ
lillaah.
for Allah
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
Ẓaalikum
That
يُوعَظُ
yooʻaz̤̣u
is instructed
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
مَن
mañ
whoever
كَانَ
kaana
[is]
يُؤۡمِنُ
yuʹminu
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-Yawmil
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ
ʹAakhir.
the Last
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَتَّقِ
yattaq̣il
fears
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَجۡعَل
yajʻal
He will make
لَّهُۥ
lahoo
for him
مَخۡرَجٗا
makhrajaa,
a way out
٢
65:3
وَيَرۡزُقۡهُ
Wa-yarzuq̣hu
And He will provide for him
مِنۡ
min
from
حَيۡثُ
hays̤u
where
لَا
laa-
not
يَحۡتَسِبُۚ
yaḥtasib.
he thinks
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَتَوَكَّلۡ
yatawakkal
puts his trust
عَلَى
ʻalal
upon
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
فَهُوَ
fa-Huwa
then He
حَسۡبُهُۥٓۚ
ḥasbuh.
(is) sufficient for him
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
بَٰلِغُ
baalig̣u
(will) accomplish
أَمۡرِهِۦۚ
ʹamrih:
His purpose
قَدۡ
q̣ad
Indeed
جَعَلَ
jaʻalal
has set
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
لِكُلِّ
likulli
for every
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
thing
قَدۡرٗا
q̣adraa.
a measure
٣
65:4
وَٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
Wallaaaʹee
And those who
يَئِسۡنَ
yaʹisna
have despaired
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمَحِيضِ
maḥeeḍi
the menstruation
مِن
min
among
نِّسَآئِكُمۡ
nisaaaʹikum
your women
إِنِ
ʹinir
if
ٱرۡتَبۡتُمۡ
tabtum
you doubt
فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ
faʻiddatuhunna
then their waiting period
ثَلَٰثَةُ
s̤alaas̤atu
(is) three
أَشۡهُرٖ
ʹashhuriñw
months
وَٱلَّٰٓـِٔي
wallaaaʹee
and the ones who
لَمۡ
lam
not
يَحِضۡنَۚ
yaḥiḍn:
[they] menstruated
وَأُوْلَٰتُ
wa-ʹulaatul
And those who (are)
ٱلۡأَحۡمَالِ
ʹaḥmaali
pregnant
أَجَلُهُنَّ
ʹajaluhunna
their term
أَن
ʹañy
until
يَضَعۡنَ
yaḍaʻna
they deliver
حَمۡلَهُنَّۚ
ḥamlahunn:
their burdens
وَمَن
wa-mañy
And whoever
يَتَّقِ
yattaq̣il
fears
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَجۡعَل
yajʻal
He will make
لَّهُۥ
lahoo
for him
مِنۡ
min
of
أَمۡرِهِۦ
ʹamrihee
his affair
يُسۡرٗا
yusraa.
ease
٤
65:5
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
أَمۡرُ
ʹAmrul
(is the) Command
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
أَنزَلَهُۥٓ
ʹañzalahooo
which He has sent down
إِلَيۡكُمۡۚ
ʹilaykum:
to you
وَمَن
wa-mañy
and whoever
يَتَّقِ
yattaq̣il
fears
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يُكَفِّرۡ
yukaffir
He will remove
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from him
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ
sayyiʹaatihee
his evil deeds
وَيُعۡظِمۡ
wa-yuʻz̤̣im
and make great
لَهُۥٓ
lahooo
for him
أَجۡرًا
ʹajraa.
(his) reward
