يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
lazeena
(you) who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
believe
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
When
نُودِيَ
noodiya
(the) call is made
لِلصَّلَوٰةِ
liṣ-Ṣalaati
for (the) prayer
مِن
miñy
on
يَوۡمِ
Yawmil
(the) day
ٱلۡجُمُعَةِ
JUMUʻATI
(of) Friday
فَٱسۡعَوۡاْ
fasʻaw
then hasten
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
ذِكۡرِ
Ẓikril
(the) remembrance
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَذَرُواْ
wa-ẓarul
and leave
ٱلۡبَيۡعَۚ
bayʻ:
the business
ذَٰلِكُمۡ
ẓaalikum
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon!
know
٩
62:10
فَإِذَا
Faʹiẓaa
Then when
قُضِيَتِ
q̣uḍiyatiṣ
is concluded
ٱلصَّلَوٰةُ
Ṣalaatu
the prayer
فَٱنتَشِرُواْ
fañtashiroo
then disperse
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the land
وَٱبۡتَغُواْ
wabtag̣oo
and seek
مِن
miñ
from
فَضۡلِ
Faḍlil
(the) Bounty
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَٱذۡكُرُواْ
waẓkurul
and remember
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeral
much
لَّعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tufliḥoon.
succeed
١٠
62:11
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
رَأَوۡاْ
raʹaw
they saw
تِجَٰرَةً
tijaaratan
a transaction
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
لَهۡوًا
lahwaniñ
a sport
ٱنفَضُّوٓاْ
faḍḍooo
they rushed
إِلَيۡهَا
ʹilayhaa
to it
وَتَرَكُوكَ
wa-tarakooka
and left you
قَآئِمٗاۚ
q̣aaaʹimaa:
standing
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
مَا
maa-
What
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
خَيۡرٞ
khayrum
(is) better
مِّنَ
minal
than
ٱللَّهۡوِ
lahwi
the sport
وَمِنَ
wa-minat
and from
ٱلتِّجَٰرَةِۚ
tijaarah!
(any) transaction
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
And Allah
خَيۡرُ
Khayrur
(is the) Best
ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
Raaziq̣een.
(of) the Providers
١١
63:1
إِذَا
ʹIẓaa
When
جَآءَكَ
jaaaʹakal
come to you
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقُونَ
MUNAAFIQ̣OONA
the hypocrites
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
نَشۡهَدُ
nashhadu
We testify
إِنَّكَ
ʹinnaka
that you
لَرَسُولُ
la-Rasoolul
(are) surely (the) Messenger
ٱللَّهِۗ
laah.
(of) Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
إِنَّكَ
ʹinnaka
that you
لَرَسُولُهُۥ
la-Rasooluh:
(are) surely His Messenger
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
and Allah
يَشۡهَدُ
yashhadu
testifies
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
that
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
Munaafiq̣eena
the hypocrites
لَكَٰذِبُونَ
lakaaẓiboon.
(are) surely liars
١
63:2
ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ
ʹIttakhaẓooo
They take
أَيۡمَٰنَهُمۡ
ʹaymaanahum
their oaths
جُنَّةٗ
junnatañ
(as) a cover
فَصَدُّواْ
faṣaddoo
so they turn away
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) Way
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹinnahum
Indeed [they]
سَآءَ
saaaʹa
evil is
مَا
maa-
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloon.
do
٢
63:3
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
they believed
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
they disbelieved
فَطُبِعَ
faṭubiʻa
so were sealed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
[upon]
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafq̣ahoon.
understand
٣
63:4
۞وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
رَأَيۡتَهُمۡ
raʹaytahum
you see them
تُعۡجِبُكَ
tuʻjibuka
pleases you
أَجۡسَامُهُمۡۖ
ʹajsaamuhum;
their bodies
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
and if
يَقُولُواْ
yaq̣ooloo
they speak
تَسۡمَعۡ
tasmaʻ
you listen
لِقَوۡلِهِمۡۖ
liq̣awlihim:
to their speech
كَأَنَّهُمۡ
Kaʹannahum
as if they (were)
خُشُبٞ
khushubum
pieces of wood
مُّسَنَّدَةٞۖ
musannadah.
propped up
يَحۡسَبُونَ
Yaḥsaboona
They think
كُلَّ
kulla
every
صَيۡحَةٍ
ṣayḥatin
shout
عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ
ʻalayhim.
(is) against them
هُمُ
Humul
They
ٱلۡعَدُوُّ
ʻaduwwu
(are) the enemy
فَٱحۡذَرۡهُمۡۚ
faḥẓarhum.
so beware of them
قَٰتَلَهُمُ
Q̣aatalahumul
May destroy them
ٱللَّهُۖ
laah!
Allah
أَنَّىٰ
ʹAnnaa
How
يُؤۡفَكُونَ
yuʹfakoon!
are they deluded
٤
