إِنَّ

Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يُبَايِعُونَكَ
yubaayiʻoonaka
pledge allegiance to you
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
only
يُبَايِعُونَ
yubaayiʻoonal
they pledge allegiance
ٱللَّهَ
laah:
(to) Allah
يَدُ
Yadul
(The) Hand
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فَوۡقَ
fawq̣a
(is) over
أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ
ʹaydeehim:
their hands
فَمَن
faman
Then whoever
نَّكَثَ
nakas̤a
breaks (his oath)
فَإِنَّمَا
faʹinnamaa
then only
يَنكُثُ
yañkus̤u
he breaks
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
against
نَفۡسِهِۦۖ
nafsih;
himself
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
and whoever
أَوۡفَىٰ
ʹawfaa
fulfils
بِمَا
bimaa
what
عَٰهَدَ
ʻaahada
he has covenanted
عَلَيۡهُ
ʻalayhul
(with)
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
فَسَيُؤۡتِيهِ
fasayuʹteehi
soon He will give him
أَجۡرًا
ʹajran
a reward
عَظِيمٗا
ʻaz̤̣eemaa.
great

48:11
سَيَقُولُ
Sayaq̣oolu
Will say
لَكَ
lakal
to you
ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ
mukhal-lafoona
those who remained behind
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
ʹAʻraabi
the Bedouins
شَغَلَتۡنَآ
shag̣alatnaaa
Kept us busy
أَمۡوَٰلُنَا
ʹamwaalunaa
our properties
وَأَهۡلُونَا
wa-ʹahloonaa
and our families
فَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
fastag̣fir
so ask forgiveness
لَنَاۚ
lanaa.
for us
يَقُولُونَ
Yaq̣ooloona
They say
بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِم
biʹalsinatihim
with their tongues
مَّا
maa
what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
is not
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ
q̣uloobihim.
their hearts
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
فَمَن
famañy
Then who
يَمۡلِكُ
yamliku
has power
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
minal
against
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
شَيۡـًٔا
shayʹan
(in) anything
إِنۡ
ʹin
if
أَرَادَ
ʹaraada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
ضَرًّا
ḍarran
harm
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
أَرَادَ
ʹaraada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
نَفۡعَۢاۚ
nafʻaa?
a benefit
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
كَانَ
kaanal
is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
taʻmaloona
you do
خَبِيرَۢا
khabeeraa.
All-Aware
١١
48:12
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
ظَنَنتُمۡ
z̤̣anañtum
you thought
أَن
ʹal
that
لَّن
lañy
(would) never
يَنقَلِبَ
yañq̣alibar
return
ٱلرَّسُولُ
Rasoolu
the Messenger
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
wal-Muʹminoona
and the believers
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
to
أَهۡلِيهِمۡ
ʹahleehim
their families
أَبَدٗا
ʹabadañw
ever
وَزُيِّنَ
wa-zuyyina
that was made fair-seeming
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that was made fair-seeming
فِي
fee
in
قُلُوبِكُمۡ
q̣uloobikum
your hearts
وَظَنَنتُمۡ
wa-z̤̣anañtum
And you assumed
ظَنَّ
z̤̣annas
an assumption
ٱلسَّوۡءِ
sawʹi
evil
وَكُنتُمۡ
wa-kuñtum
and you became
قَوۡمَۢا
q̣awmam
a people
بُورٗا
booraa.
ruined
١٢
48:13
وَمَن
Wa-mal
And whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(has) not believed
يُؤۡمِنۢ
yuʹmim
(has) not believed
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
wa-Rasoolihee
and His Messenger
فَإِنَّآ
faʹinnaaa
then indeed We
أَعۡتَدۡنَا
ʹaʻtadnaa
[We] have prepared
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lilkaafireena
for the disbelievers
سَعِيرٗا
Saʻeeraa!
a Blazing Fire
١٣
48:14
وَلِلَّهِ
Wa-lillaahi
And for Allah
مُلۡكُ
Mulkus
(is the) kingdom
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ:
and the earth
يَغۡفِرُ
yag̣firu
He forgives
لِمَن
limañy
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيُعَذِّبُ
wa-yuʻaẓẓibu
and punishes
مَن
mañy
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashaaaʹ:
He wills
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And is
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah
غَفُورٗا
G̣afoorar
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
Raḥeemaa.
Most Merciful
١٤
48:15
سَيَقُولُ
Sayaq̣oolul
Will say
ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ
mukhallafoona
those who remained behind
إِذَا
ʹiẓañ
when
ٱنطَلَقۡتُمۡ
ṭalaq̣tum
you set forth
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
towards
مَغَانِمَ
mag̣aanima
(the) spoils of war
لِتَأۡخُذُوهَا
litaʹkhuẓoohaa
to take it
ذَرُونَا
ẓaroonaa
Allow us
نَتَّبِعۡكُمۡۖ
nattabiʻkum:
(to) follow you
يُرِيدُونَ
yureedoona
They wish
أَن
ʹañy
to
يُبَدِّلُواْ
yubaddiloo
change
كَلَٰمَ
Kalaamal
(the) Words
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah.
(of) Allah
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّن
lañ
Never
تَتَّبِعُونَا
tattabiʻoonaa
will you follow us
كَذَٰلِكُمۡ
kaẓaalikum
Thus
قَالَ
q̣aalal
Allah said
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah said
مِن
miñ
before
قَبۡلُۖ
q̣abl:
before
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
fasayaq̣ooloona
Then they will say
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
تَحۡسُدُونَنَاۚ
taḥsudoonanaa.
you envy us
بَلۡ
Bal
Nay
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
لَا
laa-
not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafq̣ahoona
understanding
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelaa.
a little
