إِنَّ

Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ

يُبَايِعُونَكَ
yubayi'unaka
pledge allegiance to you
إِنَّمَا
innama
only
يُبَايِعُونَ
yubayi'una
they pledge allegiance
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(to) Allah
يَدُ
yadu
(The) Hand
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَوۡقَ
fawqa
(is) over
أَيۡدِيهِمۡۚ
aydihim
their hands
فَمَن
faman
Then whoever
نَّكَثَ
nakatha
breaks (his oath)
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
يَنكُثُ
yankuthu
he breaks
عَلَىٰ
ala
against
نَفۡسِهِۦۖ
nafsihi
himself
وَمَنۡ
waman
and whoever
أَوۡفَىٰ
awfa
fulfils
بِمَا
bima
what
عَٰهَدَ
ahada
he has covenanted
عَلَيۡهُ
alayhu
(with)
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
فَسَيُؤۡتِيهِ
fasayu'tihi
soon He will give him
أَجۡرًا
ajran
a reward
عَظِيمٗا
aziman
great
١٠
48:11
سَيَقُولُ
sayaqulu
Will say
لَكَ
laka
to you
ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ
al-mukhalafuna
those who remained behind
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ
al-a'rabi
the Bedouins
شَغَلَتۡنَآ
shaghalatna
Kept us busy
أَمۡوَٰلُنَا
amwaluna
our properties
وَأَهۡلُونَا
wa-ahluna
and our families
فَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ
fa-is'taghfir
so ask forgiveness
لَنَاۚ
lana
for us
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
They say
بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِم
bi-alsinatihim
with their tongues
مَّا
ma
what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
is not
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ
qulubihim
their hearts
قُلۡ
qul
Say
فَمَن
faman
Then who
يَمۡلِكُ
yamliku
has power
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنَ
mina
against
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
شَيۡـًٔا
shayan
(in) anything
إِنۡ
in
if
أَرَادَ
arada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
ضَرًّا
darran
harm
أَوۡ
aw
or
أَرَادَ
arada
He intends
بِكُمۡ
bikum
for you
نَفۡعَۢاۚ
naf 'an
a benefit
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
كَانَ
kana
is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرَۢا
khabiran
All-Aware
١١
48:12
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
ظَنَنتُمۡ
zanantum
you thought
أَن
an
that
لَّن
lan
(would) never
يَنقَلِبَ
yanqaliba
return
ٱلرَّسُولُ
al-rasulu
the Messenger
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
wal-mu'minuna
and the believers
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
to
أَهۡلِيهِمۡ
ahlihim
their families
أَبَدٗا
abadan
ever
وَزُيِّنَ
wazuyyina
that was made fair-seeming
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that was made fair-seeming
فِي
fi
in
قُلُوبِكُمۡ
qulubikum
your hearts
وَظَنَنتُمۡ
wazanantum
And you assumed
ظَنَّ
zanna
an assumption
ٱلسَّوۡءِ
al-sawi
evil
وَكُنتُمۡ
wakuntum
and you became
قَوۡمَۢا
qawman
a people
بُورٗا
buran
ruined
١٢
48:13
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(has) not believed
يُؤۡمِنۢ
yu'min
(has) not believed
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
فَإِنَّآ
fa-inna
then indeed We
أَعۡتَدۡنَا
a'tadna
[We] have prepared
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
for the disbelievers
سَعِيرٗا
sa'iran
a Blazing Fire
١٣
48:14
وَلِلَّهِ
walillahi
And for Allah
مُلۡكُ
mul'ku
(is the) kingdom
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
يَغۡفِرُ
yaghfiru
He forgives
لِمَن
liman
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
وَيُعَذِّبُ
wayu'adhibu
and punishes
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُۚ
yashau
He wills
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
١٤
48:15
سَيَقُولُ
sayaqulu
Will say
ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ
al-mukhalafuna
those who remained behind
إِذَا
idha
when
ٱنطَلَقۡتُمۡ
intalaqtum
you set forth
إِلَىٰ
ila
towards
مَغَانِمَ
maghanima
(the) spoils of war
لِتَأۡخُذُوهَا
litakhudhuha
to take it
ذَرُونَا
dharuna
Allow us
نَتَّبِعۡكُمۡۖ
nattabi'kum
(to) follow you
يُرِيدُونَ
yuriduna
They wish
أَن
an
to
يُبَدِّلُواْ
yubaddilu
change
كَلَٰمَ
kalama
(the) Words
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
قُل
qul
Say
لَّن
lan
Never
تَتَّبِعُونَا
tattabi'una
will you follow us
كَذَٰلِكُمۡ
kadhalikum
Thus
قَالَ
qala
Allah said
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah said
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلُۖ
qablu
before
فَسَيَقُولُونَ
fasayaquluna
Then they will say
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
تَحۡسُدُونَنَاۚ
tahsudunana
you envy us
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
لَا
la
not
يَفۡقَهُونَ
yafqahuna
understanding
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a little
١٥
