48:1إِنَّاʹInnaaIndeedفَتَحۡنَاfataḥnaaWe have given victoryلَكَlakato youفَتۡحٗاFatḥama victoryمُّبِينٗاMubeenaa,clear١
48:2لِّيَغۡفِرَLiyag̣firaThat may forgiveلَكَlakalfor youٱللَّهُlaahuAllahمَاmaa-whatتَقَدَّمَtaq̣addamaprecededمِنmiñofذَنۢبِكَẓambikayour sinsوَمَاwa-maaand whatتَأَخَّرَtaʹakhkharawill followوَيُتِمَّwa-yutimmaand completeنِعۡمَتَهُۥniʻmatahooHis favorعَلَيۡكَʻalaykaupon youوَيَهۡدِيَكَwa-yahdiyakaand guide youصِرَٰطٗاṢiraaṭam(to) a PathمُّسۡتَقِيمٗاMustaq̣eemaa,Straight٢
48:3وَيَنصُرَكَWa-yañṣurakalAnd Allah may help youٱللَّهُlaahuAnd Allah may help youنَصۡرًاNaṣran(with) a helpعَزِيزًاʻAzeezaa.mighty٣
48:4هُوَHuwalHeٱلَّذِيٓlaẓee(is) the One Whoأَنزَلَʹañzalassent downٱلسَّكِينَةَSakeenata[the] tranquilityفِيfeein(to)قُلُوبِq̣uloobil(the) heartsٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَMuʹmineena(of) the believersلِيَزۡدَادُوٓاْliyazdaadooothat they may increaseإِيمَٰنٗاʹeemaanam(in) faithمَّعَmaʻawithإِيمَٰنِهِمۡۗʹeemaanihim:their faithوَلِلَّهِwa-lillaahiAnd for AllahجُنُودُJunoodus(are the) hostsٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚwal-ʹarḍ;and the earthوَكَانَwa-kaanaland Allahٱللَّهُlaahuand AllahعَلِيمًاʻAleeman(is) All-KnowerحَكِيمٗاḤakeemaa,All-Wise٤
48:5لِّيُدۡخِلَLiyudkhilalThat He may admitٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَMuʹmineenathe believing menوَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِwal-Muʹminaatiand the believing womenجَنَّٰتٖJannaatiñ(to) Gardensتَجۡرِيtajreeflowمِنmiñfromتَحۡتِهَاtaḥtihalunderneath themٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُʹanhaaruthe riversخَٰلِدِينَkhaalideena(to) abide foreverفِيهَاfeehaathereinوَيُكَفِّرَwa-yukaffiraand (to) removeعَنۡهُمۡʻanhumfrom themسَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡۚsayyiʹaatihim;―their misdeedsوَكَانَwakaanaand isذَٰلِكَẓaalikathatعِندَʻiñdalwithٱللَّهِlaahiAllahفَوۡزًاfawzana successعَظِيمٗاʻaz̤̣eemaa,―great٥
48:6وَيُعَذِّبَWa-yuʻaẓẓibalAnd He (may) punishٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَMunaafiq̣eenathe hypocrite menوَٱلۡمُنَٰفِقَٰتِwal-Munaafiq̣aatiand the hypocrite womenوَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَwal-Mushrikeenaand the polytheist menوَٱلۡمُشۡرِكَٰتِwal-Mushrikaatiz̤̣and the polytheist womenٱلظَّآنِّينَz̤̣aaanneenawho assumeبِٱللَّهِbillaahiabout Allahظَنَّz̤̣annasan assumptionٱلسَّوۡءِۚsawʹ.evilعَلَيۡهِمۡʻAlayhimUpon themدَآئِرَةُdaaaʹiratus(is) a turnٱلسَّوۡءِۖsawʹ:(of) evilوَغَضِبَwa-g̣aḍibaland Allah's wrath (is)ٱللَّهُlaahuand Allah's wrath (is)عَلَيۡهِمۡʻalayhimupon themوَلَعَنَهُمۡwa-laʻanahumand He has cursed themوَأَعَدَّwa-ʹaʻaddaand preparedلَهُمۡlahumfor themجَهَنَّمَۖJahannam;Hellوَسَآءَتۡwa-saaaʹatand evilمَصِيرٗاmaṣeeraa.(is the) destination٦
48:7وَلِلَّهِWa-lillaahiAnd for AllahجُنُودُJunoodus(are the) hostsٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚwal-ʹarḍ:and the earthوَكَانَwa-kaanaland Allahٱللَّهُlaahuand AllahعَزِيزًاʻAzeezan(is) All-MightyحَكِيمًاḤakeemaa.All-Wise٧
48:8إِنَّآʹInnaaaIndeed Weأَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَʹarsalnaaka[We] have sent youشَٰهِدٗاShaahidañw(as) a witnessوَمُبَشِّرٗاWa-Mubashshirañwand (as) a bearer of glad tidingsوَنَذِيرٗاWa-Naẓeeraa:and (as) a warner٨
48:9لِّتُؤۡمِنُواْLituʹminooThat you may believeبِٱللَّهِbillaahiin Allahوَرَسُولِهِۦwa-Rasooliheeand His Messengerوَتُعَزِّرُوهُwa-tuʹazziroohuand (may) honor himوَتُوَقِّرُوهُۚwa-tuwaq̣q̣irooh,and respect himوَتُسَبِّحُوهُwa-tusabbiḥoohuand glorify Himبُكۡرَةٗbukratañwmorningوَأَصِيلًاwaʹaṣeelaa.and evening٩
