47:30
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
نَشَآءُ
nashaaaʹu
We willed
لَأَرَيۡنَٰكَهُمۡ
laʹaraynaakahum
surely We could show them to you
فَلَعَرَفۡتَهُم
falaʻaraftahum̃
and you would know them
بِسِيمَٰهُمۡۚ
biseemaahum:
by their marks
وَلَتَعۡرِفَنَّهُمۡ
wa-lataʻrifan-nahum
but surely you will know them
فِي
fee
by
لَحۡنِ
laḥnil
(the) tone
ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ
q̣awl!
(of their) speech
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalakum.
your deeds
٣٠
47:31
وَلَنَبۡلُوَنَّكُمۡ
Wa-lanabluwannakum
And surely We will test you
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
نَعۡلَمَ
naʻlamal
We make evident
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
mujaahideena
those who strive
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
waṣṣaabireena
and the patient ones
وَنَبۡلُوَاْ
wa-nabluwa
and We will test
أَخۡبَارَكُمۡ
ʹakhbaarakum.
your affairs
٣١
47:32
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wa-ṣaddoo
and turn away
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(the) way of Allah
وَشَآقُّواْ
wa-shaaaq̣q̣ur
and oppose
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoola
the Messenger
مِنۢ
mim
after
بَعۡدِ
baʻdi
after
مَا
maa-
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
(has been) made clear
لَهُمُ
lahumul
to them
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
Hudaa
the guidance
لَن
lañy
never
يَضُرُّواْ
yaḍurrul
will they harm
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹaa:
(in) anything
وَسَيُحۡبِطُ
wa-sa-yuḥbiṭu
and He will make worthless
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalahum.
their deeds
٣٢
47:33
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
ʹaamanooo
O you who believe
أَطِيعُواْ
ʹaṭeeʻul
Obey
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُواْ
wa-ʹaṭeeʻur
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
Rasoola
the Messenger
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تُبۡطِلُوٓاْ
tubṭilooo
make vain
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalakum!
your deeds
٣٣
47:34
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
وَصَدُّواْ
wa-ṣaddoo
and turn away
عَن
ʻañ
from
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
مَاتُواْ
maatoo
died
وَهُمۡ
wa-hum
while they
كُفَّارٞ
kuffaaruñ
(were) disbelievers
فَلَن
falañy
never
يَغۡفِرَ
yag̣firal
will Allah forgive
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
will Allah forgive
لَهُمۡ
lahum.
them
٣٤
47:35
فَلَا
Falaa
So (do) not
تَهِنُواْ
tahinoo
weaken
وَتَدۡعُوٓاْ
wa-tadʻooo
and call
إِلَى
ʹilas
for
ٱلسَّلۡمِ
salmi
peace
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-ʹañtumul
while you
ٱلۡأَعۡلَوۡنَ
ʹaʻlawna
(are) superior
وَٱللَّهُ
wallaahu
and Allah
مَعَكُمۡ
maʻakum
(is) with you
وَلَن
wa-lañy
and never
يَتِرَكُمۡ
yatirakum
will deprive you
أَعۡمَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹaʻmaalakum.
(of) your deeds
٣٥
47:36
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamal
Only
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
ḥayaatud
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
لَعِبٞ
laʻibuñw
(is) play
وَلَهۡوٞۚ
walahw:
and amusement
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
And if
تُؤۡمِنُواْ
tuʹminoo
you believe
وَتَتَّقُواْ
wa-tattaq̣oo
and fear (Allah)
يُؤۡتِكُمۡ
yuʹtikum
He will give you
أُجُورَكُمۡ
ʹujoorakum
your rewards
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمۡ
yasʹalkum
will ask you
أَمۡوَٰلَكُمۡ
ʹamwaalakum.
(for) your wealth
٣٦
47:37
إِن
ʹIñy
If
يَسۡـَٔلۡكُمُوهَا
yasʹalkumoohaa
He were to ask you for it
فَيُحۡفِكُمۡ
fayuḥfikum
and press you
تَبۡخَلُواْ
tabkhaloo
you will withhold
وَيُخۡرِجۡ
wa-yukhrij
and He will bring forth
أَضۡغَٰنَكُمۡ
ʹaḍg̣aanakum.
your hatred
٣٧
47:38
هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ
Haaaʹañtum
Here you are
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
تُدۡعَوۡنَ
tudʻawna
called
لِتُنفِقُواْ
lituñfiq̣oo
to spend
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِ
Sabeelil
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
laah:
(of) Allah
فَمِنكُم
famiñkum
but among you
مَّن
mañy
(are some) who
يَبۡخَلُۖ
yabkhal
withhold
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
and whoever
يَبۡخَلۡ
yabkhal
withholds
فَإِنَّمَا
faʹinnamaa
then only
يَبۡخَلُ
yabkhalu
he withholds
عَن
ʻan
from
نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ
nafsih.
himself
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahul
But Allah
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
G̣aniyyu
(is) Free of need
وَأَنتُمُ
wa-ʹañtumul
while you
ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ
Fuq̣araaaʹ.
(are) the needy
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
tatawallaw
you turn away
يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ
yastabdil
He will replace you
قَوۡمًا
q̣awman
(with) a people
غَيۡرَكُمۡ
g̣ayrakum
other than you
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
لَا
laa-
not
يَكُونُوٓاْ
yakoonooo
they will be
أَمۡثَٰلَكُم
ʹams̤aalakum!
(the) likes of you
٣٨
