44:3إِنَّآinnaIndeed Weأَنزَلۡنَٰهُanzalnahurevealed itفِيfiinلَيۡلَةٖlaylatina NightمُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚmubarakatinBlessedإِنَّاinnaIndeed Weكُنَّاkunna[We] areمُنذِرِينَmundhirina(ever) warning٣
44:4فِيهَاfihaThereinيُفۡرَقُyuf'raquis made distinctكُلُّkullueveryأَمۡرٍamrinaffairحَكِيمٍhakiminwise٤
44:5أَمۡرٗاamranA commandمِّنۡminfromعِندِنَآۚindinaUsإِنَّاinnaIndeed Weكُنَّاkunna[We] areمُرۡسِلِينَmur'silina(ever) sending٥
44:6رَحۡمَةٗrahmatanAs Mercyمِّنminfromرَّبِّكَۚrabbikayour LordإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed Heهُوَhuwa[He]ٱلسَّمِيعُal-sami'u(is) the All-Hearerٱلۡعَلِيمُal-'alimuthe All-Knower٦
44:7رَبِّrabbiLordٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِal-samawati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِwal-ardiand the earthوَمَاwamaand whateverبَيۡنَهُمَآۖbaynahuma(is) between both of themإِنinifكُنتُمkuntumyou areمُّوقِنِينَmuqininacertain٧
44:8لَآla(There is) noإِلَٰهَilahagodإِلَّاillaexceptهُوَhuwaHimيُحۡيِۦyuh'yiHe gives lifeوَيُمِيتُۖwayumituand causes deathرَبُّكُمۡrabbukumyour Lordوَرَبُّwarabbuand (the) Lordءَابَآئِكُمُabaikumu(of) your fathersٱلۡأَوَّلِينَal-awalinathe former٨
44:10فَٱرۡتَقِبۡfa-ir'taqibThen watchيَوۡمَyawma(for the) Dayتَأۡتِيtati(when) will bringٱلسَّمَآءُal-samauthe skyبِدُخَانٖbidukhaninsmokeمُّبِينٖmubininvisible١٠
44:11يَغۡشَىyaghshaEnvelopingٱلنَّاسَۖal-nasathe peopleهَٰذَاhadhaThisعَذَابٌadhabun(will be) a punishmentأَلِيمٞalimunpainful١١
44:12رَّبَّنَاrabbanaOur Lordٱكۡشِفۡik'shifRemoveعَنَّاannafrom usٱلۡعَذَابَal-'adhabathe punishmentإِنَّاinnaindeed weمُؤۡمِنُونَmu'minuna(are) believers١٢
44:13أَنَّىٰannaHow canلَهُمُlahumu(there be) for themٱلذِّكۡرَىٰal-dhik'rathe reminderوَقَدۡwaqadwhen verilyجَآءَهُمۡjaahumhad come to themرَسُولٞrasuluna Messengerمُّبِينٞmubinunclear١٣
44:14ثُمَّthummaThenتَوَلَّوۡاْtawallawthey turned awayعَنۡهُanhufrom himوَقَالُواْwaqaluand saidمُعَلَّمٞmu'allamunOne taughtمَّجۡنُونٌmajnununa mad man١٤
44:15إِنَّاinnaIndeed Weكَاشِفُواْkashifu(will) removeٱلۡعَذَابِal-'adhabithe punishmentقَلِيلًاۚqalilana littleإِنَّكُمۡinnakumindeed youعَآئِدُونَaiduna(will) return١٥
44:16يَوۡمَyawma(The) DayنَبۡطِشُnabtishuWe will seizeٱلۡبَطۡشَةَal-batshata(with) the seizureٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓal-kub'rathe greatestإِنَّاinnaindeed Weمُنتَقِمُونَmuntaqimuna(will) take retribution١٦
44:17۞وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd certainlyفَتَنَّاfatannaWe triedقَبۡلَهُمۡqablahumbefore themقَوۡمَqawma(the) peopleفِرۡعَوۡنَfir'awna(of) Firaunوَجَآءَهُمۡwajaahumand came to themرَسُولٞrasuluna Messengerكَرِيمٌkarimunnoble١٧
44:18أَنۡanThatأَدُّوٓاْadduDeliverإِلَيَّilayyato meعِبَادَibada(the) servantsٱللَّهِۖal-lahi(of) AllahإِنِّيinniIndeed I amلَكُمۡlakumto youرَسُولٌrasuluna Messengerأَمِينٞaminuntrustworthy١٨
