ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
يَأۡكُلُونَ
yaʹkuloonar
consume
ٱلرِّبَوٰاْ
Ribaa
[the] usury
لَا
laa-
not
يَقُومُونَ
yaq̣oomoona
they can stand
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
كَمَا
kamaa
like
يَقُومُ
yaq̣oomul
stands
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the one who
يَتَخَبَّطُهُ
yatakhabbaṭuhush
confounds him
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭanu
the Shaitaan
مِنَ
minal
with
ٱلۡمَسِّۚ
mass.
(his) touch
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
(is) because they
قَالُوٓاْ
q̣alooo
say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamal
Only
ٱلۡبَيۡعُ
Bayʻu
the trade
مِثۡلُ
mis̤lur
(is) like
ٱلرِّبَوٰاْۗ
Riba.
[the] usury
وَأَحَلَّ
Wa-ʹaḥallal
While has permitted
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
Allah
ٱلۡبَيۡعَ
Bayʻa
[the] trade
وَحَرَّمَ
waḥarramar
but (has) forbidden
ٱلرِّبَوٰاْۚ
Riba.
[the] usury
فَمَن
Famañ
Then whoever
جَآءَهُۥ
jaaaʹahoo
comes to him
مَوۡعِظَةٞ
mawʻiz̤̣atum
(the) admonition
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّهِۦ
Rabbihee
His Lord
فَٱنتَهَىٰ
fañtahaa
and he refrained
فَلَهُۥ
falahoo
then for him
مَا
maa-
what
سَلَفَ
salaf:
(has) passed
وَأَمۡرُهُۥٓ
wa-ʹamruhooo
and his case
إِلَى
ʹilal
(is) with
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah.
Allah
وَمَنۡ
Wa-man
and whoever
عَادَ
ʻaada
repeated
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
أَصۡحَٰبُ
ʹAṣḥaabun
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naar:
(of) the Fire
هُمۡ
hum
they
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
خَٰلِدُونَ
khaalidoon.
will abide forever
٢٧٥
2:276
يَمۡحَقُ
Yamḥaq̣ul
Destroys
ٱللَّهُ
laahur
Allah
ٱلرِّبَوٰاْ
Ribaa
the usury
وَيُرۡبِي
wa-yurbiṣ
and (gives) increase
ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِۗ
ṣadaq̣aat.
(for) the charities
وَٱللَّهُ
Wallaahu
And Allah
لَا
laa-
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbu
love
كُلَّ
kulla
every
كَفَّارٍ
kaffaarin
ungrateful
أَثِيمٍ
ʹas̤eem.
sinner
٢٧٦
2:277
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanoo
believe[d]
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa-ʻamiluṣ
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
ṣaaliḥaati
good deeds
وَأَقَامُواْ
wa-ʹaq̣aamuṣ
and established
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَءَاتَوُاْ
wa-ʹaata-wuz
and gave
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
the zakah
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَجۡرُهُمۡ
ʹajruhum
their reward
عِندَ
ʻiñda
(is) with
رَبِّهِمۡ
Rabbihim:
their Lord
وَلَا
wa-laa
and no
خَوۡفٌ
kawfun
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
on them
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yaḥzanoon.
will grieve
٢٧٧
2:278
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanut
believe[d]
ٱتَّقُواْ
taq̣ul
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَذَرُواْ
waẓaroo
and give up
مَا
maa-
what
بَقِيَ
baq̣iya
remained
مِنَ
minar
of
ٱلرِّبَوٰٓاْ
Ribaaa
[the] usury
إِن
ʹiñ
if
كُنتُم
kuñtum
you are
مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
believers
٢٧٨
2:279
فَإِن
Faʹil
And if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَفۡعَلُواْ
tafʻaloo
you do
فَأۡذَنُواْ
faʹ-ẓanoo
then be informed
بِحَرۡبٖ
biḥarbim
of a war
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦۖ
wa-Rasoolih:
and His Messenger
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
And if
تُبۡتُمۡ
tubtum
you repent
فَلَكُمۡ
falakum
then for you
رُءُوسُ
ruʹoosu
(is)
أَمۡوَٰلِكُمۡ
ʹamwaaalikum:
your capital
لَا
laa-
(do) not
تَظۡلِمُونَ
taz̤̣limoona
wrong
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
تُظۡلَمُونَ
tuz̤̣lamoon.
you will be wronged
٢٧٩
2:280
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñ
And if
كَانَ
kaana
is
ذُو
ẓoo
the (debtor)
عُسۡرَةٖ
ʻusratiñ
in difficulty
فَنَظِرَةٌ
fanaz̤̣iratun
then postponement
إِلَىٰ
ʻilaa
until
مَيۡسَرَةٖۚ
maysarah.
ease
وَأَن
Wa-ʹañ
And if
تَصَدَّقُواْ
taṣaddaq̣oo
you remit as charity
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(it is) better
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
for you
إِن
ʹiñ
If
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon.
know
٢٨٠
2:281
وَٱتَّقُواْ
Wattaq̣oo
And fear
يَوۡمٗا
Yawmañ
a Day
تُرۡجَعُونَ
turjaʻoona
you will be brought back
فِيهِ
feehi
[in it]
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah.
Allah
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
تُوَفَّىٰ
tuwaffaa
(will be) repaid in full
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٖ
nafsim
soul
مَّا
maa
what
كَسَبَتۡ
kasabat
it earned
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
لَا
laa-
not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoon.
will be wronged
