39:57أَوۡʹAwOrتَقُولَtaq̣oolait should sayلَوۡlawIf thatأَنَّʹannalIf thatٱللَّهَlaahaAllahهَدَىٰنِيhadaanee(had) guided meلَكُنتُlakuñtusurely I (would) have beenمِنَminalamongٱلۡمُتَّقِينَMuttaq̣een!the righteous٥٧
39:58أَوۡʹAwOrتَقُولَtaq̣oolait should sayحِينَḥeenawhenتَرَىtaralit seesٱلۡعَذَابَʻaẓaabathe punishmentلَوۡlawIfأَنَّʹannaonlyلِيleefor meكَرَّةٗkarratañanother chanceفَأَكُونَfaʹakoonathen I could beمِنَminalamongٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَMuḥsineen!the good-doers٥٨
39:59بَلَىٰBalaaYesقَدۡq̣adverilyجَآءَتۡكَjaaaʹatkacame to youءَايَٰتِيʹAayaateeMy Versesفَكَذَّبۡتَfakaẓẓabtabut you deniedبِهَاbihaathemوَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَwastakbartaand were arrogantوَكُنتَwa-kuñtaand you wereمِنَminalamongٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَkaafireen.the disbelievers٥٩
39:60وَيَوۡمَWa-YawmalAnd (on the) DayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِQ̣iyaamati(of) the Resurrectionتَرَىtaralyou will seeٱلَّذِينَlaẓeenathose whoكَذَبُواْkaẓabooliedعَلَىʻalalaboutٱللَّهِlaahiAllahوُجُوهُهُمwujoohuhumtheir facesمُّسۡوَدَّةٌۚmuswaddah:(will be) blackenedأَلَيۡسَʹalaysaIs (there) notفِيfeeinجَهَنَّمَJahannamaHellمَثۡوٗىmas̤walan abodeلِّلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَlilmutakabbireen?for the arrogant٦٠
39:61وَيُنَجِّيWa-yunajjilAnd Allah will deliverٱللَّهُlaahulAnd Allah will deliverٱلَّذِينَlaẓeenatthose whoٱتَّقَوۡاْtaq̣awfeared (Him)بِمَفَازَتِهِمۡBimafaazatihimto their place of salvationلَاlaa-notيَمَسُّهُمُyamassuhumuswill touch themٱلسُّوٓءُsoooʹuthe evilوَلَاwa-laaand notهُمۡhumtheyيَحۡزَنُونَyaḥzanoon.will grieve٦١
39:62ٱللَّهُʹAllaahuAllahخَٰلِقُkhaaliq̣u(is the) Creatorكُلِّkulli(of) allشَيۡءٖۖshayʹ:thingsوَهُوَwa-Huwaand Heعَلَىٰʻalaa(is) overكُلِّkulliallشَيۡءٖshayʹiñwthingsوَكِيلٞWakeel.a Guardian٦٢
39:63لَّهُۥLahooFor Himمَقَالِيدُmaq̣aaleedus(are the) keysٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِsamaawaati(of) the heavensوَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗwal-ʹarḍ:and the earthوَٱلَّذِينَwallaẓeenaAnd those whoكَفَرُواْkafaroodisbelieveبِـَٔايَٰتِbiʹAayaatilin (the) Versesٱللَّهِlaahi(of) Allahأُوْلَٰٓئِكَʹulaaaʹikathose هُمُhumultheyٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَkhaasiroon.(are) the losers٦٣
39:64قُلۡQ̣ulSayأَفَغَيۡرَʹafag̣ayralIs (it) other thanٱللَّهِlaahiAllahتَأۡمُرُوٓنِّيٓtaʹmurooonneeeyou order meأَعۡبُدُʹaʻbudu(to) worshipأَيُّهَاʹayyuhalOٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَjaahiloon?ignorant ones٦٤
39:65وَلَقَدۡWa-laq̣adAnd verilyأُوحِيَʹooḥiyait has been revealedإِلَيۡكَʹilaykato youوَإِلَىwa-ʹilaland toٱلَّذِينَlaẓeenathose whoمِنmiñ(were) before youقَبۡلِكَq̣ablik:(were) before youلَئِنۡlaʹinifأَشۡرَكۡتَʹashraktayou associate (with Allah)لَيَحۡبَطَنَّlayaḥbaṭannasurely will become worthlessعَمَلُكَʻamalukayour deedsوَلَتَكُونَنَّwa-latakoonannaand you will surely beمِنَminalamongٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَkhaasireen.the losers٦٥
39:66بَلِBalilNayٱللَّهَlaahaBut worship AllahفَٱعۡبُدۡfaʻbudBut worship Allahوَكُنwa-kumand beمِّنَminashamongٱلشَّٰكِرِينَshaakireen.the thankful ones٦٦
39:67وَمَاWa-maaAnd notقَدَرُواْq̣adarulthey appraisedٱللَّهَlaahaAllahحَقَّḥaq̣q̣a(with) trueقَدۡرِهِۦq̣adriheeappraisalوَٱلۡأَرۡضُwal-ʹarḍuwhile the earthجَمِيعٗاjameeʻañentirelyقَبۡضَتُهُۥq̣abḍatuhoo(will be) in His GripيَوۡمَYawmal(on the) DayٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِQ̣iyaamati(of) the Resurrectionوَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُwassamaawaatuand the heavensمَطۡوِيَّٰتُۢmaṭwiyyaatum(will be) foldedبِيَمِينِهِۦۚbiyameenih:in His Right HandسُبۡحَٰنَهُۥSubḥaanahooGlory be to Himوَتَعَٰلَىٰwa-TaʻaalaaAnd High is Heعَمَّاʻammaaabove whatيُشۡرِكُونَyushrikoon!they associate (with Him)٦٧
