36:41وَءَايَةٞwaayatunAnd a Signلَّهُمۡlahumfor themأَنَّاanna(is) thatحَمَلۡنَاhamalnaWe carriedذُرِّيَّتَهُمۡdhurriyyatahumtheir offspringفِيfiinٱلۡفُلۡكِal-ful'kithe shipٱلۡمَشۡحُونِal-mashhuniladen٤١
36:42وَخَلَقۡنَاwakhalaqnaAnd We createdلَهُمlahumfor themمِّنminfromمِّثۡلِهِۦmith'lihi(the) likes of itمَاmawhatيَرۡكَبُونَyarkabunathey ride٤٢
36:43وَإِنwa-inAnd ifنَّشَأۡnashaWe willنُغۡرِقۡهُمۡnugh'riq'humWe could drown themفَلَاfalathen notصَرِيخَsarikha(would be) a responder to a cryلَهُمۡlahumfor themوَلَاwalaand notهُمۡhumtheyيُنقَذُونَyunqadhunawould be saved٤٣
36:44إِلَّاillaExceptرَحۡمَةٗrahmatan(by) Mercyمِّنَّاminnafrom Usوَمَتَٰعًاwamata'anand provisionإِلَىٰilaforحِينٖhinina time٤٤
36:45وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenقِيلَqilait is saidلَهُمُlahumuto themٱتَّقُواْittaquFearمَاmawhatبَيۡنَbayna(is) before youأَيۡدِيكُمۡaydikum(is) before youوَمَاwamaand whatخَلۡفَكُمۡkhalfakum(is) behind youلَعَلَّكُمۡla'allakumso that you mayتُرۡحَمُونَtur'hamunareceive mercy٤٥
36:46وَمَاwamaAnd notتَأۡتِيهِمtatihimcomes to themمِّنۡminofءَايَةٖayatina Signمِّنۡminfromءَايَٰتِayati(the) Signsرَبِّهِمۡrabbihim(of) their Lordإِلَّاillabutكَانُواْkanutheyعَنۡهَاanhafrom itمُعۡرِضِينَmu'ridinaturn away٤٦
36:47وَإِذَاwa-idhaAnd whenقِيلَqilait is saidلَهُمۡlahumto themأَنفِقُواْanfiquSpendمِمَّاmimmafrom whatرَزَقَكُمُrazaqakumu(has) provided youٱللَّهُal-lahuAllahقَالَqalaSaidٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoكَفَرُواْkafarudisbelievedلِلَّذِينَlilladhinato those whoءَامَنُوٓاْamanubelievedأَنُطۡعِمُanut'imuShould we feedمَنmanwhomلَّوۡlawifيَشَآءُyashauAllah willed ٱللَّهُal-lahuAllah willed أَطۡعَمَهُۥٓat'amahuHe would have fed himإِنۡinNotأَنتُمۡantum(are) youإِلَّاillaexceptفِيfiinضَلَٰلٖdalalinan errorمُّبِينٖmubininclear٤٧
36:48وَيَقُولُونَwayaqulunaAnd they sayمَتَىٰmataWhen (is)هَٰذَاhadhathisٱلۡوَعۡدُal-wa'dupromiseإِنinifكُنتُمۡkuntumyou areصَٰدِقِينَsadiqinatruthful٤٨
36:49مَاmaNotيَنظُرُونَyanzurunathey awaitإِلَّاillaexceptصَيۡحَةٗsayhatana shoutوَٰحِدَةٗwahidatanoneتَأۡخُذُهُمۡtakhudhuhumit will seize themوَهُمۡwahumwhile theyيَخِصِّمُونَyakhissimunaare disputing٤٩
36:50فَلَاfalaThen notيَسۡتَطِيعُونَyastati'unathey will be ableتَوۡصِيَةٗtawsiyatan(to) make a willوَلَآwalaand notإِلَىٰٓilatoأَهۡلِهِمۡahlihimtheir peopleيَرۡجِعُونَyarji'unathey (can) return٥٠
36:51وَنُفِخَwanufikhaAnd will be blownفِيfi[in]ٱلصُّورِal-surithe trumpetفَإِذَاfa-idhaand beholdهُمhumTheyمِّنَminafromٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِal-ajdathithe gravesإِلَىٰilatoرَبِّهِمۡrabbihimtheir Lordيَنسِلُونَyansiluna[they] will hasten٥١
36:52قَالُواْqaluThey [will] sayيَٰوَيۡلَنَاyawaylanaO woe to usمَنۢmanWhoبَعَثَنَاba'athanahas raised usمِنminfromمَّرۡقَدِنَاۜۗmarqadinaour sleeping placeهَٰذَاhadhaThis (is)مَاmaWhatوَعَدَwa'ada(had) promisedٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُal-rahmanuthe Most Graciousوَصَدَقَwasadaqaand told (the) truthٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَal-mur'salunathe Messengers٥٢
36:53إِنinNotكَانَتۡkanatit will beإِلَّاillabutصَيۡحَةٗsayhatana shoutوَٰحِدَةٗwahidatansingleفَإِذَاfa-idhaso beholdهُمۡhumTheyجَمِيعٞjami'unallلَّدَيۡنَاladaynabefore Usمُحۡضَرُونَmuh'daruna(will be) brought٥٣
36:54فَٱلۡيَوۡمَfal-yawmaSo this Dayلَاlanotتُظۡلَمُtuz'lamuwill be wrongedنَفۡسٞnafsuna soulشَيۡـٔٗاshayan(in) anythingوَلَاwalaand notتُجۡزَوۡنَtuj'zawnayou will be recompensedإِلَّاillaexceptمَاma(for) whatكُنتُمۡkuntumyou used (to)تَعۡمَلُونَta'malunado٥٤
