ٱلَّذِي

(is) the One Who
جَعَلَكُمۡ
ja'alakum
made you
خَلَٰٓئِفَ
khalaifa
successors
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the earth
فَمَن
faman
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
فَعَلَيۡهِ
fa'alayhi
then upon him
كُفۡرُهُۥۖ
kuf'ruhu
(is) his disbelief
وَلَا
wala
And not
يَزِيدُ
yazidu
increase
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
kuf'ruhum
their disbelief
عِندَ
inda
near
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
إِلَّا
illa
except
مَقۡتٗاۖ
maqtan
(in) hatred
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَزِيدُ
yazidu
increase
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
كُفۡرُهُمۡ
kuf'ruhum
their disbelief
إِلَّا
illa
except
خَسَارٗا
khasaran
(in) loss
٣٩
35:40
قُلۡ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ
ara-aytum
Have you seen
شُرَكَآءَكُمُ
shurakaakumu
your partners
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
you call
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
duni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
أَرُونِي
aruni
Show Me
مَاذَا
madha
what
خَلَقُواْ
khalaqu
they have created
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
أَمۡ
am
or
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
شِرۡكٞ
shir'kun
(is) a share
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
أَمۡ
am
Or
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
ataynahum
have We given them
كِتَٰبٗا
kitaban
a Book
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
بَيِّنَتٖ
bayyinatin
a clear proof
مِّنۡهُۚ
min'hu
therefrom
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
إِن
in
not
يَعِدُ
ya'idu
promise
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
بَعۡضُهُم
ba'duhum
some of them
بَعۡضًا
ba'dan
(to) others
إِلَّا
illa
except
غُرُورًا
ghururan
delusion
٤٠
35:41
۞إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُمۡسِكُ
yum'siku
upholds
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
أَن
an
lest
تَزُولَاۚ
tazula
they cease
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
زَالَتَآ
zalata
they should cease
إِنۡ
in
not
أَمۡسَكَهُمَا
amsakahuma
can uphold them
مِنۡ
min
any
أَحَدٖ
ahadin
one
مِّنۢ
min
after Him
بَعۡدِهِۦٓۚ
ba'dihi
after Him
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
حَلِيمًا
haliman
Most Forbearing
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
٤١
35:42
وَأَقۡسَمُواْ
wa-aqsamu
And they swore
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
by Allah
جَهۡدَ
jahda
(the) strongest
أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ
aymanihim
(of) their oaths
لَئِن
la-in
that if
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
came to them
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
لَّيَكُونُنَّ
layakununna
surely they would be
أَهۡدَىٰ
ahda
more guided
مِنۡ
min
than
إِحۡدَى
ih'da
any
ٱلۡأُمَمِۖ
al-umami
(of) the nations
فَلَمَّا
falamma
But when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
came to them
نَذِيرٞ
nadhirun
a warner
مَّا
ma
not
زَادَهُمۡ
zadahum
it increased them
إِلَّا
illa
but
نُفُورًا
nufuran
(in) aversion
٤٢
35:43
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارٗا
is'tik'baran
(Due to) arrogance
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
وَمَكۡرَ
wamakra
and plotting
ٱلسَّيِّيِٕۚ
al-sayi-i
(of) the evil
وَلَا
wala
but not
يَحِيقُ
yahiqu
encompasses
ٱلۡمَكۡرُ
al-makru
the plot
ٱلسَّيِّئُ
al-sayi-u
(of) the evil
إِلَّا
illa
except
بِأَهۡلِهِۦۚ
bi-ahlihi
its own people
فَهَلۡ
fahal
Then do
يَنظُرُونَ
yanzuruna
they wait
إِلَّا
illa
except
سُنَّتَ
sunnata
(the) way
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَۚ
al-awalina
(of) the former (people)
فَلَن
falan
But never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّتِ
lisunnati
in (the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
تَبۡدِيلٗاۖ
tabdilan
any change
وَلَن
walan
and never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لِسُنَّتِ
lisunnati
in (the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
تَحۡوِيلًا
tahwilan
any alteration
٤٣
35:44
أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Have they not
يَسِيرُواْ
yasiru
traveled
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
فَيَنظُرُواْ
fayanzuru
and seen
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَانَ
kana
was
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(the) end
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(of) those who
مِن
min
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡ
qablihim
(were) before them
وَكَانُوٓاْ
wakanu
And they were
أَشَدَّ
ashadda
stronger
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
than them
قُوَّةٗۚ
quwwatan
(in) power
وَمَا
wama
But not
كَانَ
kana
is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لِيُعۡجِزَهُۥ
liyu'jizahu
that can escape (from) Him
مِن
min
any
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَلَا
wala
and not
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the earth
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
عَلِيمٗا
aliman
All-Knower
قَدِيرٗا
qadiran
All-Powerful
٤٤
