أَنَّ

that
ٱللَّهَ

Allah
سَخَّرَ

has subjected
لَكُم
lakum
to you
مَّا
maa
whatever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَمَا
wa-maa
and whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَأَسۡبَغَ
wa-ʹasbag̣a
and amply bestowed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
نِعَمَهُۥ
niʻamahoo
His Bounties
ظَٰهِرَةٗ
z̤̣aahiratañw
apparent
وَبَاطِنَةٗۗ
wa baaṭinah?
and hidden
وَمِنَ
Wa-minan
But of
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
the people
مَن
mañy
(is he) who
يُجَٰدِلُ
yujaadilu
disputes
فِي
fil
about
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
without
عِلۡمٖ
ʻilmiñw
knowledge
وَلَا
walaa
and not
هُدٗى
hudañw
guidance
وَلَا
walaa
and not
كِتَٰبٖ
kitaabim
a book
مُّنِيرٖ
muneer.
enlightening
٢٠
31:21
وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
قِيلَ
q̣eela
it is said
لَهُمُ
lahumut
to them
ٱتَّبِعُواْ
tabiʻoo
Follow
مَآ
maaa
what
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzalal
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah (has) revealed
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
نَتَّبِعُ
nattabiʻu
we will follow
مَا
maa-
what
وَجَدۡنَا
wajadnaa
we found
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
on it
ءَابَآءَنَآۚ
ʹaabaaaʹanaa.
our forefathers
أَوَلَوۡ
ʹAwalaw
Even if
كَانَ
kaanash
Shaitaan was
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
Shayṭaanu
Shaitaan was
يَدۡعُوهُمۡ
yadʻoohum
(to) call them
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabis
(the) punishment
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
Saʻeer?
(of) the Blaze
٢١
31:22
۞وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يُسۡلِمۡ
yuslim
submits
وَجۡهَهُۥٓ
wajhahooo
his face
إِلَى
ʹilal
to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
وَهُوَ
wa-huwa
while he
مُحۡسِنٞ
Muḥsinuñ
(is) a good-doer
فَقَدِ
faq̣adis
then indeed
ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ
tamsaka
he has grasped
بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ
bilʻurwatil
the handhold
ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰۗ
wus̤q̣aa:
the most trustworthy
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
And to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
عَٰقِبَةُ
ʻAaq̣ibatul
(is the) end
ٱلۡأُمُورِ
ʹumoor.
(of) the matters
٢٢
31:23
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
فَلَا
falaa
let not
يَحۡزُنكَ
yaḥzuñka
grieve you
كُفۡرُهُۥٓۚ
kufruh:
his disbelief
إِلَيۡنَا
ʹilaynaa
To Us
مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ
Marjiʻuhum
(is) their return
فَنُنَبِّئُهُم
fanunabbiʹuhum̃
then We will inform them
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
عَمِلُوٓاْۚ
ʻamiloo:
they did
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
ʻAleemum
(is) the All-Knower
بِذَاتِ
biẓaatiṣ
of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ
ṣudoor.
(is in) the breasts
٢٣
31:24
نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ
Numattiʻuhum
We grant them enjoyment
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelañ
(for) a little
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ
naḍṭarruhum
We will force them
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَذَابٍ
ʻaẓaabin
a punishment
غَلِيظٖ
g̣aleez̤̣.
severe
٢٤
31:25
وَلَئِن
Wa-laʹiñ
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُم
saʹaltahum
you ask them
مَّنۡ
man
Who
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣as
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaq̣oolunnal
They will surely say
ٱللَّهُۚ
laah.
Allah
قُلِ
Q̣ulil
Say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
Ḥamdu
All praises
لِلَّهِۚ
lillaah!
(are) for Allah
بَلۡ
Bal
But
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
ʹaks̤aruhum
most of them
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
yaʻlamoon.
know
٢٥
31:26
لِلَّهِ
Lillaahi
To Allah (belongs)
مَا
maa-
whatever
فِي
fis
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ʹarḍ:
and the earth
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
هُوَ
Huwal
He
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
G̣aniyyul
(is) Free of need
ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
Ḥameed.
the Praiseworthy
٢٦
31:27
وَلَوۡ
Walaw
And if
أَنَّمَا
ʹannamaa-
whatever
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
مِن
miñ
of
شَجَرَةٍ
shajaratin
(the) trees
أَقۡلَٰمٞ
ʹaq̣laamuñw
(were) pens
وَٱلۡبَحۡرُ
wal-baḥru
and the sea
يَمُدُّهُۥ
yamudduhoo
(to) add to it
مِنۢ
mim
after it
بَعۡدِهِۦ
baʻdihee
after it
سَبۡعَةُ
sabʻatu
seven
أَبۡحُرٖ
ʹabḥurim
seas
مَّا
maa
not
نَفِدَتۡ
nafidat
would be exhausted
كَلِمَٰتُ
Kalimaatul
(the) Words
ٱللَّهِۚ
laah:
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeezun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
Ḥakeem.
All-Wise
٢٧
31:28
مَّا
Maa-
Not
خَلۡقُكُمۡ
khalq̣ukum
(is) your creation
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
بَعۡثُكُمۡ
baʻs̤ukum
your resurrection
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
كَنَفۡسٖ
kanafsiñw
as a soul
وَٰحِدَةٍۚ
waaḥidah:
single
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
Sameeʻum
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌ
Baṣeer.
All-Seer
