فِي

(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
وَأَسۡبَغَ
wa-asbagha
and amply bestowed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
نِعَمَهُۥ
ni'amahu
His Bounties
ظَٰهِرَةٗ
zahiratan
apparent
وَبَاطِنَةٗۗ
wabatinatan
and hidden
وَمِنَ
wamina
But of
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the people
مَن
man
(is he) who
يُجَٰدِلُ
yujadilu
disputes
فِي
fi
about
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
بِغَيۡرِ
bighayri
without
عِلۡمٖ
il'min
knowledge
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُدٗى
hudan
guidance
وَلَا
wala
and not
كِتَٰبٖ
kitabin
a book
مُّنِيرٖ
munirin
enlightening
٢٠
31:21
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قِيلَ
qila
it is said
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱتَّبِعُواْ
ittabi'u
Follow
مَآ
ma
what
أَنزَلَ
anzala
Allah (has) revealed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah (has) revealed
قَالُواْ
qalu
they say
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
نَتَّبِعُ
nattabi'u
we will follow
مَا
ma
what
وَجَدۡنَا
wajadna
we found
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on it
ءَابَآءَنَآۚ
abaana
our forefathers
أَوَلَوۡ
awalaw
Even if
كَانَ
kana
Shaitaan was
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
Shaitaan was
يَدۡعُوهُمۡ
yad'uhum
(to) call them
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَذَابِ
adhabi
(the) punishment
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
al-sa'iri
(of) the Blaze
٢١
31:22
۞وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُسۡلِمۡ
yus'lim
submits
وَجۡهَهُۥٓ
wajhahu
his face
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
مُحۡسِنٞ
muh'sinun
(is) a good-doer
فَقَدِ
faqadi
then indeed
ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ
is'tamsaka
he has grasped
بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ
bil-'ur'wati
the handhold
ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰۗ
al-wuth'qa
the most trustworthy
وَإِلَى
wa-ila
And to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(is the) end
ٱلۡأُمُورِ
al-umuri
(of) the matters
٢٢
31:23
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
فَلَا
fala
let not
يَحۡزُنكَ
yahzunka
grieve you
كُفۡرُهُۥٓۚ
kuf'ruhu
his disbelief
إِلَيۡنَا
ilayna
To Us
مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ
marji'uhum
(is) their return
فَنُنَبِّئُهُم
fanunabbi-uhum
then We will inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُوٓاْۚ
amilu
they did
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
alimun
(is) the All-Knower
بِذَاتِ
bidhati
of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ
al-suduri
(is in) the breasts
٢٣
31:24
نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ
numatti'uhum
We grant them enjoyment
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
(for) a little
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ
nadtarruhum
We will force them
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَذَابٍ
adhabin
a punishment
غَلِيظٖ
ghalizin
severe
٢٤
31:25
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُم
sa-altahum
you ask them
مَّنۡ
man
Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaqulunna
They will surely say
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All praises
لِلَّهِۚ
lillahi
(are) for Allah
بَلۡ
bal
But
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٢٥
31:26
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
To Allah (belongs)
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
al-ghaniyu
(is) Free of need
ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
al-hamidu
the Praiseworthy
٢٦
31:27
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّمَا
annama
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مِن
min
of
شَجَرَةٍ
shajaratin
(the) trees
أَقۡلَٰمٞ
aqlamun
(were) pens
وَٱلۡبَحۡرُ
wal-bahru
and the sea
يَمُدُّهُۥ
yamudduhu
(to) add to it
مِنۢ
min
after it
بَعۡدِهِۦ
ba'dihi
after it
سَبۡعَةُ
sab'atu
seven
أَبۡحُرٖ
abhurin
seas
مَّا
ma
not
نَفِدَتۡ
nafidat
would be exhausted
كَلِمَٰتُ
kalimatu
(the) Words
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
azizun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise
٢٧
31:28
مَّا
ma
Not
خَلۡقُكُمۡ
khalqukum
(is) your creation
وَلَا
wala
and not
بَعۡثُكُمۡ
ba'thukum
your resurrection
إِلَّا
illa
but
كَنَفۡسٖ
kanafsin
as a soul
وَٰحِدَةٍۚ
wahidatin
single
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌ
basirun
All-Seer
