Most of them were
أَكۡثَرُهُم
aktharuhum
Most of them were
مُّشۡرِكِينَ
mush'rikina
polytheists

30:43
فَأَقِمۡ
fa-aqim
So set
وَجۡهَكَ
wajhaka
your face
لِلدِّينِ
lilddini
to the religion
ٱلۡقَيِّمِ
al-qayimi
right
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يَأۡتِيَ
yatiya
comes
يَوۡمٞ
yawmun
a Day
لَّا
la
not
مَرَدَّ
maradda
(can be) averted
لَهُۥ
lahu
[it]
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِۖ
al-lahi
Allah
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
yawma-idhin
That Day
يَصَّدَّعُونَ
yassadda'una
they will be divided
٤٣
30:44
مَن
man
Whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
فَعَلَيۡهِ
fa'alayhi
then against him
كُفۡرُهُۥۖ
kuf'ruhu
(is) his disbelief
وَمَنۡ
waman
And whoever
عَمِلَ
amila
does
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
righteousness
فَلِأَنفُسِهِمۡ
fali-anfusihim
then for themselves
يَمۡهَدُونَ
yamhaduna
they are preparing
٤٤
30:45
لِيَجۡزِيَ
liyajziya
That He may reward
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and do
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
righteous deeds
مِن
min
(out) of
فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ
fadlihi
His Bounty
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
like
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
٤٥
30:46
وَمِنۡ
wamin
And among
ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ
ayatihi
His Signs
أَن
an
(is) that
يُرۡسِلَ
yur'sila
He sends
ٱلرِّيَاحَ
al-riyaha
the winds
مُبَشِّرَٰتٖ
mubashiratin
(as) bearers of glad tidings
وَلِيُذِيقَكُم
waliyudhiqakum
and to let you taste
مِّن
min
of
رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ
rahmatihi
His Mercy
وَلِتَجۡرِيَ
walitajriya
and that may sail
ٱلۡفُلۡكُ
al-ful'ku
the ships
بِأَمۡرِهِۦ
bi-amrihi
at His Command
وَلِتَبۡتَغُواْ
walitabtaghu
and that you may seek
مِن
min
of
فَضۡلِهِۦ
fadlihi
His Bounty
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
wala'allakum
and that you may
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuruna
be grateful
٤٦
30:47
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And verily
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
arsalna
We sent
مِن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
before you
رُسُلًا
rusulan
Messengers
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
قَوۡمِهِمۡ
qawmihim
their people
فَجَآءُوهُم
fajauhum
and they came to them
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-bayinati
with clear proofs
فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا
fa-intaqamna
then We took retribution
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
أَجۡرَمُواْۖ
ajramu
committed crimes
وَكَانَ
wakana
And it was
حَقًّا
haqqan
incumbent
عَلَيۡنَا
alayna
upon Us
نَصۡرُ
nasru
(to) help
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
٤٧
30:48
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
يُرۡسِلُ
yur'silu
sends
ٱلرِّيَٰحَ
al-riyaha
the winds
فَتُثِيرُ
fatuthiru
so they raise
سَحَابٗا
sahaban
(the) clouds
فَيَبۡسُطُهُۥ
fayabsutuhu
then He spreads them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the sky
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
وَيَجۡعَلُهُۥ
wayaj'aluhu
and He makes them
كِسَفٗا
kisafan
fragments
فَتَرَى
fatara
so you see
ٱلۡوَدۡقَ
al-wadqa
the rain
يَخۡرُجُ
yakhruju
coming forth
مِنۡ
min
from
خِلَٰلِهِۦۖ
khilalihi
their midst
فَإِذَآ
fa-idha
Then when
أَصَابَ
asaba
He causes it to fall on
بِهِۦ
bihi
He causes it to fall on
مَن
man
whom
يَشَآءُ
yashau
He wills
مِنۡ
min
of
عِبَادِهِۦٓ
ibadihi
His slaves
إِذَا
idha
behold
هُمۡ
hum
They
يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ
yastabshiruna
rejoice
٤٨
30:49
وَإِن
wa-in
And certainly
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
مِن
min
before
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
[that]
يُنَزَّلَ
yunazzala
it was sent down
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
upon them
مِّن
min
[before it]
قَبۡلِهِۦ
qablihi
[before it]
لَمُبۡلِسِينَ
lamub'lisina
surely in despair
٤٩
30:50
فَٱنظُرۡ
fa-unzur
So look
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
at
ءَاثَٰرِ
athari
(the) effects
رَحۡمَتِ
rahmati
(of the) Mercy
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
يُحۡيِ
yuh'yi
He gives life
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
(to) the earth
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
مَوۡتِهَآۚ
mawtiha
its death
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَمُحۡيِ
lamuh'yi
surely He (will) give life
ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ
al-mawta
(to) the dead
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ala
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٞ
qadirun
All-Powerful
