وَإِذَا
Wa-ʹiẓaa
And when
مَسَّ

touches
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
people
ضُرّٞ
ḍurruñ
hardship
دَعَوۡاْ
daʻaw
they call
رَبَّهُم
Rabbahum
their Lord
مُّنِيبِينَ
muneebeena
turning
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to Him
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
Then
إِذَآ
ʹiẓaaa
when
أَذَاقَهُم
ʹaẓaaq̣ahum
He causes them to taste
مِّنۡهُ
minhu
from Him
رَحۡمَةً
Raḥmatan
Mercy
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
behold
فَرِيقٞ
fareeq̣um
A party
مِّنۡهُم
minhum̃
of them
بِرَبِّهِمۡ
bi-Rabbihim
with their Lord
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon,―
associate partners
٣٣
30:34
لِيَكۡفُرُواْ
Liyakfuroo
So as to deny
بِمَآ
bimaaa
[in] what
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡۚ
ʹaataynaahum!
We have granted them
فَتَمَتَّعُواْ
Fatamattaʻoo:
Then enjoy
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
but soon
تَعۡلَمُونَ
taʻlamoon.
you will know

30:35
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
أَنزَلۡنَا
ʹañzalnaa
have We sent
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
سُلۡطَٰنٗا
Sulṭaanañ
an authority
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
and it
يَتَكَلَّمُ
yatakallamu
speaks
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they were
بِهِۦ
bihee
with Him
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon?
associating
٣٥
30:36
وَإِذَآ
Wa-ʹiẓaaa
And when
أَذَقۡنَا
ʹaẓaq̣nan
We cause people to taste
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
We cause people to taste
رَحۡمَةٗ
Raḥmatañ
mercy
فَرِحُواْ
fariḥoo
they rejoice
بِهَاۖ
bihaa:
therein
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñ
But if
تُصِبۡهُمۡ
tuṣibhum
afflicts them
سَيِّئَةُۢ
sayyiʹatum
an evil
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
قَدَّمَتۡ
q̣addamat
have sent forth
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
ʹaydeehim
their hands
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
behold
هُمۡ
hum
They
يَقۡنَطُونَ
yaq̣naṭoon!
despair
٣٦
30:37
أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
يَبۡسُطُ
yabsuṭur
extends
ٱلرِّزۡقَ
rizq̣a
the provision
لِمَن
limañy
for whom
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَقۡدِرُۚ
wa-yaq̣dir?
and straitens (it)
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
فِي
fee
in
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laʹAayaatil
surely (are) Signs
لِّقَوۡمٖ
liq̣awmiñy
for a people
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
who believe
٣٧
30:38
فَـَٔاتِ
Faʹaati
So give
ذَا
ẓal
the relative
ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ
q̣urbaa
the relative
حَقَّهُۥ
ḥaq̣q̣ahoo
his right
وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ
walmiskeena
and the poor
وَٱبۡنَ
wabnas
and the wayfarer
ٱلسَّبِيلِۚ
sabeel.
and the wayfarer
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
خَيۡرٞ
khayrul
(is) best
لِّلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
for those who
يُرِيدُونَ
yureedoona
desire
وَجۡهَ
Wajhal
(the) Countenance
ٱللَّهِۖ
laahi
(of) Allah
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
wa-ʹulaaʹika
And those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
Mufliḥoon.
(are) the successful ones
٣٨
30:39
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And what
ءَاتَيۡتُم
ʹaataytum
you give
مِّن
mir
for
رِّبٗا
Ribal
usury
لِّيَرۡبُوَاْ
liyarbuwa
to increase
فِيٓ
feee
in
أَمۡوَٰلِ
ʹamwaalin
(the) wealth
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
(of) people
فَلَا
falaa
not
يَرۡبُواْ
yarboo
(will) increase
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
with
ٱللَّهِۖ
laah;
Allah
وَمَآ
wa-maaa
But what
ءَاتَيۡتُم
ʹaataytum
you give
مِّن
miñ
of
زَكَوٰةٖ
Zakaatiñ
zakah
تُرِيدُونَ
tureedoona
desiring
وَجۡهَ
Wajhal
(the) Countenance
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
هُمُ
humul
[they]
ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ
muḍʻifoon.
(will) get manifold
٣٩
30:40
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahul
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَكُمۡ
khalaq̣akum
created you
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
رَزَقَكُمۡ
razaq̣akum
He provided (for) you
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُمِيتُكُمۡ
yumeetukum
He will cause you to die
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُحۡيِيكُمۡۖ
yuḥyeekum.
He will give you life
هَلۡ
Hal
Is (there)
مِن
miñ
any
شُرَكَآئِكُم
Shurakaaaʹikum
(of) your partners
مَّن
mañy
who
يَفۡعَلُ
yafʻalu
does
مِن
miñ
of
ذَٰلِكُم
ẓaalikum
that
مِّن
miñ
any
شَيۡءٖۚ
shayʹ?
thing
سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ
Sub-ḥaanahoo
Glory be to Him
وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
wa-taʻaalaa
and exalted is He
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon!
they associate
٤٠
30:41
ظَهَرَ
Z̤̣aharal
Has appeared
ٱلۡفَسَادُ
fasaadu
the corruption
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡبَرِّ
barri
the land
وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ
wal-baḥri
and the sea
بِمَا
bimaa
for what
كَسَبَتۡ
kasabat
have earned
أَيۡدِي
ʹaydin
(the) hands
ٱلنَّاسِ
naasi
(of) people
لِيُذِيقَهُم
liyuẓeeq̣ahum
so that He may let them taste
بَعۡضَ
baʻḍal
a part
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(of) that which
عَمِلُواْ
ʻamiloo
they have done
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
laʻallahum
so that they may
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarjiʻoon.
