إِنَّ

Indeed
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
He Who
فَرَضَ
faraḍa
ordained
عَلَيۡكَ
ʻalaykal
upon you
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ
Q̣ur-ʹaana
the Quran
لَرَآدُّكَ
laraaadduka
(will) surely take you back
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
مَعَادٖۚ
Maʻaad.
a place of return
قُل
Q̣ur
Say
رَّبِّيٓ
Rabbeee
My Lord
أَعۡلَمُ
ʹaʻlamu
(is) most knowing
مَن
mañ
(of him) who
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ
bil-hudaa
with the guidance
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
and who
هُوَ
huwa
he
فِي
fee
(is) in
ضَلَٰلٖ
ḍalaalim
an error
مُّبِينٖ
mubeen.
manifest
٨٥
28:86
وَمَا
Wa-maa
And not
كُنتَ
kuñta
you were
تَرۡجُوٓاْ
tarjooo
expecting
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُلۡقَىٰٓ
yulq̣aaa
would be sent down
إِلَيۡكَ
ʹilaykal
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ
Kitaabu
the Book
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
رَحۡمَةٗ
Raḥmatam
(as) a mercy
مِّن
mir
from
رَّبِّكَۖ
Rabbika
your Lord
فَلَا
falaa
So (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takoonanna
be
ظَهِيرٗا
z̤̣aheeral
an assistant
لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil-kaafireen.
to the disbelievers
٨٦
28:87
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (let) not
يَصُدُّنَّكَ
yaṣuddunnaka
avert you
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
ءَايَٰتِ
ʹAayaatil
(the) Verses
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
بَعۡدَ
baʻda
after
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
[when]
أُنزِلَتۡ
ʹuñzilat
they have been revealed
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ʹilayk:
to you
وَٱدۡعُ
wadʻu
And invite (people)
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّكَۖ
Rabbika
your Lord
وَلَا
wa-laa
And (do) not
تَكُونَنَّ
takoonanna
be
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeen.
the polytheists
٨٧
28:88
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And (do) not
تَدۡعُ
tadʻu
invoke
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
إِلَٰهًا
ʹilaahan
god
ءَاخَرَۘ
ʹaakhar.
other
لَآ
Laaa
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
هُوَۚ
Hoo.
Him
كُلُّ
Kullu
Every
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
هَالِكٌ
haalikun
(will be) destroyed
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
وَجۡهَهُۥۚ
Wajhah.
His Face
لَهُ
Lahul
To Him
ٱلۡحُكۡمُ
Ḥukmu
(is) the Decision
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ʹilayhi
and to Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
turjaʻoon.
you will be returned
٨٨
29:1
الٓمٓ
ʹAlif-Laaam-Meeem.
Alif Laam Meem
١
29:2
أَحَسِبَ
ʹAḥasiban
Do think
ٱلنَّاسُ
naasu
the people
أَن
ʹañy
that
يُتۡرَكُوٓاْ
yutrakooo
they will be left
أَن
ʹañy
because
يَقُولُوٓاْ
yaq̣oolooo
they say
ءَامَنَّا
ʹaamannaa
We believe
وَهُمۡ
Wahum
and they
لَا
laa-
will not be tested
يُفۡتَنُونَ
yuftanoon?
will not be tested
٢
29:3
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And indeed
فَتَنَّا
fatannal
We tested
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
مِن
miñ
(were) before them
قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ
q̣ablihim
(were) before them
فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ
falayaʻlamannal
And Allah will surely make evident
ٱللَّهُ
laahul
And Allah will surely make evident
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
صَدَقُواْ
ṣadaq̣oo
(are) truthful
وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ
wa-la-yaʻlamannal
and He will surely make evident
ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
kaaẓibeen.
the liars
٣
29:4
أَمۡ
ʹAm
Or
حَسِبَ
ḥasibal
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloonas
do
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
sayyiʹaati
evil deeds
أَن
ʹañy
that
يَسۡبِقُونَاۚ
yasbiq̣oonaa?
they can outrun Us
سَآءَ
Saaaʹa
Evil is
مَا
maa-
what
يَحۡكُمُونَ
yaḥkumoon!
they judge
٤
29:5
مَن
Mañ
Whoever
كَانَ
Kaana
[is]
يَرۡجُواْ
yarjoo
hopes
لِقَآءَ
liq̣aaa
(for the) meeting
ٱللَّهِ
ʹallaahi
(with) Allah
فَإِنَّ
faʹinna
then indeed
أَجَلَ
ʹAjalal
(the) Term
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
لَأٓتٖۚ
laʹaat;
(is) surely coming
وَهُوَ
wa-Huwas
And He
ٱلسَّمِيعُ
Sameeʻul
(is) the All-Hearer
ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
ʻAleem.
the All-Knower
٥
29:6
وَمَن
Wa-mañ
And whoever
جَٰهَدَ
jaahada
strives
فَإِنَّمَا
faʹinnamaa
then only
يُجَٰهِدُ
yujaahidu
he strives
لِنَفۡسِهِۦٓۚ
linafsih;
for himself
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَغَنِيٌّ
la-G̣aniyyun
(is) Free from need
عَنِ
ʻanil
of
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen.
