28:60
وَمَآ
Wa-maaa
And whatever
أُوتِيتُم
ʹooteetum
you have been given
مِّن
miñ
from
شَيۡءٖ
shayʹiñ
things
فَمَتَٰعُ
famataaʻul
(is) an enjoyment
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
(of the) life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
وَزِينَتُهَاۚ
wa-zeenatuhaa;
and its adornment
وَمَا
wa-maa
And what
عِندَ
ʻiñdal
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
خَيۡرٞ
khayruñw
(is) better
وَأَبۡقَىٰٓۚ
waʹabq̣aa:
and more lasting
أَفَلَا
ʹafalaa
So (will) not
تَعۡقِلُونَ
taʻq̣iloon?
you use intellect
٦٠
28:61
أَفَمَن
ʹAfamañw
Then is (he) whom
وَعَدۡنَٰهُ
waʻadnaahu
We have promised him
وَعۡدًا
waʻdan
a promise
حَسَنٗا
ḥasanañ
good
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
and he
لَٰقِيهِ
laaq̣eehi
(will) meet it
كَمَن
kamam
like (the one) whom
مَّتَّعۡنَٰهُ
mattaʻnaahu
We provided him
مَتَٰعَ
mataaʻal
enjoyment
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
ḥayaatid
(of the) life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
dunyaa
(of) the world
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
هُوَ
huwa
he
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
مِنَ
minal
(will be) among
ٱلۡمُحۡضَرِينَ
muḥḍareen?
those presented
٦١
28:62
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يُنَادِيهِمۡ
yunaadeehim
He will call them
فَيَقُولُ
fayaq̣oolu
and say
أَيۡنَ
ʹayna
Where
شُرَكَآءِيَ
shurakaaaʹiyal
(are) My partners
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
whom
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used (to)
تَزۡعُمُونَ
tazʻumoon?
claim
٦٢
28:63
قَالَ
Q̣aalal
(Will) say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(has) come true
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
against whom
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
q̣awlu
the Word
رَبَّنَا
Rabbanaa
Our Lord
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹil
These
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(are) those whom
أَغۡوَيۡنَآ
ʹag̣waynaa:
we led astray
أَغۡوَيۡنَٰهُمۡ
ʹag̣waynaahum
We led them astray
كَمَا
kamaa
as
غَوَيۡنَاۖ
g̣awaynaa:
we were astray
تَبَرَّأۡنَآ
tabarraʹnaaa
We declare our innocence
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ʹilayka
before You
مَا
maa-
Not
كَانُوٓاْ
kaanooo
they used (to)
إِيَّانَا
ʹiyyaanaa
worship us
يَعۡبُدُونَ
yaʻbudoon.
worship us
٦٣
28:64
وَقِيلَ
Wa-q̣eelad
And it will be said
ٱدۡعُواْ
ʻoo
Call
شُرَكَآءَكُمۡ
shurakaaaʹakum
your partners
فَدَعَوۡهُمۡ
fadaʻawhum
And they will call them
فَلَمۡ
falam
but not
يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ
yastajeeboo
they will respond
لَهُمۡ
lahum
to them
وَرَأَوُاْ
wa-raʹawul
and they will see
ٱلۡعَذَابَۚ
ʻaẓaaba
the punishment
لَوۡ
law
If only
أَنَّهُمۡ
ʹannahum
[that] they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
had been
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtadoon!
guided
٦٤
28:65
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-Yawma
And (the) Day
يُنَادِيهِمۡ
yunaadeehim
He will call them
فَيَقُولُ
fayaq̣oolu
and say
مَاذَآ
maa-ẓaaa
What
أَجَبۡتُمُ
ʹajabtumul
did you answer
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
mursaleen?
the Messengers
٦٥
28:66
فَعَمِيَتۡ
Faʻamiyat
But (will) be obscure
عَلَيۡهِمُ
ʻalayhimul
to them
ٱلۡأَنۢبَآءُ
ʹambaaaʹu
the information
يَوۡمَئِذٖ
Yawmaʹiẓiñ
that day
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
laa-
will not ask one another
يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
yatasaaaʹaloon!
will not ask one another
٦٦
28:67
فَأَمَّا
Faʹammaa
But as for
مَن
mañ
(him) who
تَابَ
taaba
repented
وَءَامَنَ
wa-ʹaamana
and believed
وَعَمِلَ
wa-ʻamila
and did
صَٰلِحٗا
ṣaaliḥañ
righteousness
فَعَسَىٰٓ
faʻasaaa
then perhaps
أَن
ʹañy
[that]
يَكُونَ
yakoona
he will be
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡمُفۡلِحِينَ
Mufliḥeen.
the successful ones
٦٧
28:68
وَرَبُّكَ
Wa-Rabbuka
And your Lord
يَخۡلُقُ
yakhluq̣u
creates
مَا
maa-
what
يَشَآءُ
yashaaaʹu
He wills
وَيَخۡتَارُۗ
wayakhtaar:
and chooses
مَا
maa-
Not
كَانَ
kaana
they have
لَهُمُ
lahumul
for them
ٱلۡخِيَرَةُۚ
khiyarah:
the choice
سُبۡحَٰنَ
Subḥaanal
Glory be
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(to) Allah
وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
wa-taʻaalaa
and High is He
عَمَّا
ʻammaa
above what
يُشۡرِكُونَ
yushrikoon!
they associate (with Him)
٦٨
28:69
وَرَبُّكَ
Wa-Rabbuka
And your Lord
يَعۡلَمُ
yaʻlamu
knows
مَا
maa-
what
تُكِنُّ
tukinnu
conceals
صُدُورُهُمۡ
ṣudooruhum
their breasts
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
يُعۡلِنُونَ
yuʻlinoon.
they declare
٦٩
28:70
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(is) Allah
لَآ
laaa
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
هُوَۖ
Hoo.
He
لَهُ
Lahul
To Him
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
Ḥamdu
(are due) all praises
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
ʹoolaa
the first
وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ
wal-ʹaakhirah:
and the last
وَلَهُ
wa-lahul
And for Him
ٱلۡحُكۡمُ
Ḥukmu
(is) the Decision
وَإِلَيۡهِ
wa-ʹilayhi
and to Him
تُرۡجَعُونَ
turjaʻoon.
you will be returned
٧٠
