ٱمۡرَأَةٗ

a woman
تَمۡلِكُهُمۡ

ruling them
وَأُوتِيَتۡ
wautiyat
and she has been given
مِن
min
of
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
thing
وَلَهَا
walaha
and for her
عَرۡشٌ
arshun
(is) a throne
عَظِيمٞ
azimun
great
٢٣
27:24
وَجَدتُّهَا
wajadttuha
And I found her
وَقَوۡمَهَا
waqawmaha
and her people
يَسۡجُدُونَ
yasjuduna
prostrating
لِلشَّمۡسِ
lilshamsi
to the sun
مِن
min
instead of Allah
دُونِ
duni
instead of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
instead of Allah
وَزَيَّنَ
wazayyana
and has made fair-seeming
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ
a'malahum
their deeds
فَصَدَّهُمۡ
fasaddahum
and averted them
عَنِ
ani
from
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
al-sabili
the Way
فَهُمۡ
fahum
so they
لَا
la
(are) not
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtaduna
guided
٢٤
27:25
أَلَّاۤ
alla
That not
يَسۡجُدُواْۤ
yasjudu
they prostrate
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
to Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
يُخۡرِجُ
yukh'riju
brings forth
ٱلۡخَبۡءَ
al-khaba-a
the hidden
فِي
fi
in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَيَعۡلَمُ
waya'lamu
and knows
مَا
ma
what
تُخۡفُونَ
tukh'funa
you conceal
وَمَا
wama
and what
تُعۡلِنُونَ
tu'linuna
you declare
٢٥
27:26
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لَآ
la
(there is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ilaha
god
إِلَّا
illa
but
هُوَ
huwa
He
رَبُّ
rabbu
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ
al-'arshi
(of) the Throne
ٱلۡعَظِيمِ۩
al-'azimi
the Great
٢٦
27:27
۞قَالَ
qala
He said
سَنَنظُرُ
sananzuru
We will see
أَصَدَقۡتَ
asadaqta
whether you speak (the) truth
أَمۡ
am
or
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
al-kadhibina
the liars
٢٧
27:28
ٱذۡهَب
idh'hab
Go
بِّكِتَٰبِي
bikitabi
with my letter
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
فَأَلۡقِهۡ
fa-alqih
and deliver it
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
تَوَلَّ
tawalla
turn away
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
فَٱنظُرۡ
fa-unzur
and see
مَاذَا
madha
what
يَرۡجِعُونَ
yarji'una
they return
٢٨
27:29
قَالَتۡ
qalat
She said
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ
al-mala-u
chiefs
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed [I]
أُلۡقِيَ
ul'qiya
is delivered
إِلَيَّ
ilayya
to me
كِتَٰبٞ
kitabun
a letter
كَرِيمٌ
karimun
noble
٢٩
27:30
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed it
مِن
min
(is) from
سُلَيۡمَٰنَ
sulaymana
Sulaiman
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-innahu
and indeed it (is)
بِسۡمِ
bis'mi
In the name
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ
al-rahmani
the Most Gracious
ٱلرَّحِيمِ
al-rahimi
the Most Merciful
٣٠
27:31
أَلَّا
alla
That not
تَعۡلُواْ
ta'lu
exalt yourselves
عَلَيَّ
alayya
against me
وَأۡتُونِي
watuni
but come to me
مُسۡلِمِينَ
mus'limina
(in) submission
٣١
27:32
قَالَتۡ
qalat
She said
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ
al-mala-u
chiefs
أَفۡتُونِي
aftuni
Advise me
فِيٓ
fi
in
أَمۡرِي
amri
my affair
مَا
ma
Not
كُنتُ
kuntu
I would be
قَاطِعَةً
qati'atan
the one to decide
أَمۡرًا
amran
any matter
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَشۡهَدُونِ
tashhaduni
you are present with me
٣٢
27:33
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
We
أُوْلُواْ
ulu
(are) possessors
قُوَّةٖ
quwwatin
(of) strength
وَأُوْلُواْ
wa-ulu
and possessors
بَأۡسٖ
basin
(of) might
شَدِيدٖ
shadidin
great
وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ
wal-amru
and the command
إِلَيۡكِ
ilayki
(is) up to you
فَٱنظُرِي
fa-unzuri
so look
مَاذَا
madha
what
تَأۡمُرِينَ
tamurina
you will command
٣٣
27:34
قَالَتۡ
qalat
She said
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡمُلُوكَ
al-muluka
the kings
إِذَا
idha
when
دَخَلُواْ
dakhalu
they enter
قَرۡيَةً
qaryatan
a town
أَفۡسَدُوهَا
afsaduha
they ruin it
وَجَعَلُوٓاْ
waja'alu
and make
أَعِزَّةَ
a'izzata
(the) most honorable
أَهۡلِهَآ
ahliha
(of) its people
أَذِلَّةٗۚ
adhillatan
(the) lowest
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhalika
And thus
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yaf 'aluna
they do
٣٤
27:35
وَإِنِّي
wa-inni
But indeed I am
مُرۡسِلَةٌ
mur'silatun
going to send
إِلَيۡهِم
ilayhim
to them
بِهَدِيَّةٖ
bihadiyyatin
a gift
فَنَاظِرَةُۢ
fanaziratun
and see
بِمَ
bima
with what
يَرۡجِعُ
yarji'u
return
ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
al-mur'saluna
the messengers
