23:43مَاmaNotتَسۡبِقُtasbiqucan precedeمِنۡminanyأُمَّةٍummatinnationأَجَلَهَاajalahaits termوَمَاwamaand notيَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَyastakhirunathey (can) delay (it)٤٣
23:44ثُمَّthummaThenأَرۡسَلۡنَاarsalnaWe sentرُسُلَنَاrusulanaOur Messengersتَتۡرَاۖtatra(in) successionكُلَّkullaEvery timeمَاmaEvery timeجَآءَjaacameأُمَّةٗummatan(to) a nationرَّسُولُهَاrasuluhaits Messengerكَذَّبُوهُۖkadhabuhuthey denied himفَأَتۡبَعۡنَاfa-atba'naso We made (them) follow بَعۡضَهُمba'dahumsome of themبَعۡضٗاba'danothersوَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡwaja'alnahumand We made themأَحَادِيثَۚahadithanarrationsفَبُعۡدٗاfabu'danSo awayلِّقَوۡمٖliqawminwith a people لَّاlanotيُؤۡمِنُونَyu'minunathey believe٤٤
23:45ثُمَّthummaThenأَرۡسَلۡنَاarsalnaWe sentمُوسَىٰmusaMusaوَأَخَاهُwa-akhahuand his brotherهَٰرُونَharunaHarunبِـَٔايَٰتِنَاbiayatinawith Our Signsوَسُلۡطَٰنٖwasul'taninand an authorityمُّبِينٍmubininclear٤٥
23:46إِلَىٰilaToفِرۡعَوۡنَfir'awnaFiraunوَمَلَإِيْهِۦwamala-ihiand his chiefsفَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْfa-is'takbarubut they behaved arrogantlyوَكَانُواْwakanuand they wereقَوۡمًاqawmana peopleعَالِينَalinahaughty٤٦
23:47فَقَالُوٓاْfaqaluThen they saidأَنُؤۡمِنُanu'minuShall we believeلِبَشَرَيۡنِlibasharayni(in) two menمِثۡلِنَاmith'linalike ourselvesوَقَوۡمُهُمَاwaqawmuhumawhile their peopleلَنَاlanafor usعَٰبِدُونَabiduna(are) slaves٤٧
23:48فَكَذَّبُوهُمَاfakadhabuhumaSo they denied themفَكَانُواْfakanuand they becameمِنَminaofٱلۡمُهۡلَكِينَal-muh'lakinathose who were destroyed٤٨
23:49وَلَقَدۡwalaqadAnd verilyءَاتَيۡنَاataynaWe gaveمُوسَىmusaMusaٱلۡكِتَٰبَal-kitabathe Scriptureلَعَلَّهُمۡla'allahumso that they mayيَهۡتَدُونَyahtadunabe guided٤٩
23:50وَجَعَلۡنَاwaja'alnaAnd We madeٱبۡنَib'na(the) sonمَرۡيَمَmaryama(of) Maryamوَأُمَّهُۥٓwa-ummahuand his motherءَايَةٗayatana Signوَءَاوَيۡنَٰهُمَآwaawaynahumaand We sheltered themإِلَىٰilatoرَبۡوَةٖrabwatina high groundذَاتِdhatiof tranquilityقَرَارٖqararinof tranquilityوَمَعِينٖwama'ininand water springs٥٠
23:51يَٰٓأَيُّهَاyaayyuhaO Messengersٱلرُّسُلُal-rusuluO MessengersكُلُواْkuluEatمِنَminaofٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِal-tayibatithe good thingsوَٱعۡمَلُواْwa-i'maluand doصَٰلِحًاۖsalihanrighteous (deeds)إِنِّيinniIndeed I Amبِمَاbimaof whatتَعۡمَلُونَta'malunayou doعَلِيمٞalimunAll-Knower٥١
23:52وَإِنَّwa-innaAnd indeedهَٰذِهِۦٓhadhihithisأُمَّتُكُمۡummatukumyour religionأُمَّةٗummatan(is) religionوَٰحِدَةٗwahidatanoneوَأَنَا۠wa-anaAnd I Amرَبُّكُمۡrabbukumyour Lordفَٱتَّقُونِfa-ittaquniso fear Me٥٢
23:53فَتَقَطَّعُوٓاْfataqatta'uBut they cut offأَمۡرَهُمamrahumtheir affair (of unity)بَيۡنَهُمۡbaynahumbetween themزُبُرٗاۖzuburan(into) sectsكُلُّkullueachحِزۡبِۭhiz'binfactionبِمَاbimain whatلَدَيۡهِمۡladayhimthey haveفَرِحُونَfarihunarejoicing٥٣
23:54فَذَرۡهُمۡfadharhumSo leave themفِيfiinغَمۡرَتِهِمۡghamratihimtheir confusionحَتَّىٰhattauntilحِينٍhinina time٥٤
23:55أَيَحۡسَبُونَayahsabunaDo they thinkأَنَّمَاannamathat whatنُمِدُّهُمnumidduhumWe extend to themبِهِۦbihi[with it]مِنminofمَّالٖmalinwealthوَبَنِينَwabaninaand children٥٥
23:56نُسَارِعُnusari'uWe hastenلَهُمۡlahumto themفِيfiinٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِۚal-khayratithe goodبَلbalNayلَّاlanotيَشۡعُرُونَyash'urunathey perceive٥٦
23:57إِنَّinnaIndeedٱلَّذِينَalladhinathose whoهُمhum[they]مِّنۡminfromخَشۡيَةِkhashyati(the) fearرَبِّهِمrabbihim(of) their Lordمُّشۡفِقُونَmush'fiquna(are) cautious٥٧
23:58وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaAnd thoseهُمhum[they]بِـَٔايَٰتِbiayatiin (the) Signsرَبِّهِمۡrabbihim(of) their Lordيُؤۡمِنُونَyu'minunabelieve٥٨
23:59وَٱلَّذِينَwa-alladhinaAnd thoseهُمhum[they]بِرَبِّهِمۡbirabbihimwith their Lordلَاla(do) notيُشۡرِكُونَyush'rikunaassociate partners٥٩
