23:18
وَأَنزَلۡنَا
Wa-ʹañzalnaa
And We send down
مِنَ
minas
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
samaaaʹi
the sky
مَآءَۢ
maaaʹam
water
بِقَدَرٖ
biq̣adariñ
in (due) measure
فَأَسۡكَنَّٰهُ
faʹaskannaahu
then We cause it to settle
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
ʹarḍi
the earth
وَإِنَّا
wa-ʹInnaa
And indeed We
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
ذَهَابِۭ
ẓahaabim
taking it away
بِهِۦ
bihee
taking it away
لَقَٰدِرُونَ
la-Q̣aadiroon.
surely (are) Able
١٨
23:19
فَأَنشَأۡنَا
Faʹañshaʹnaa
Then We produced
لَكُم
lakum̃
for you
بِهِۦ
bihee
by it
جَنَّٰتٖ
jannaatim
gardens
مِّن
min
of date-palms
نَّخِيلٖ
nakheeliñw
of date-palms
وَأَعۡنَٰبٖ
waʹaʻnaab.
and grapevines
لَّكُمۡ
Lakum
for you
فِيهَا
feehaa
in it
فَوَٰكِهُ
fawaakihu
(are) fruits
كَثِيرَةٞ
kas̤eeratuñw
abundant
وَمِنۡهَا
waminhaa
and from them
تَأۡكُلُونَ
taʹkuloon,
you eat

23:20
وَشَجَرَةٗ
Wa-shajaratañ
And a tree
تَخۡرُجُ
takhruju
(that) springs forth
مِن
miñ
from
طُورِ
Ṭoori
Mount Sinai
سَيۡنَآءَ
Saynaaaʹa
Mount Sinai
تَنۢبُتُ
tambutu
(which) produces
بِٱلدُّهۡنِ
bidduhni
oil
وَصِبۡغٖ
waṣibg̣il
and a relish
لِّلۡأٓكِلِينَ
lil-ʹaa-kileen.
for those who eat
٢٠
23:21
وَإِنَّ
Wa-ʹinna
And indeed
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ
ʹanʻaami
the cattle
لَعِبۡرَةٗۖ
laʻibrah:
surely (is) a lesson
نُّسۡقِيكُم
nusq̣eekum
We give you drink
مِّمَّا
mimmaa
from what
فِي
fee
(is) in
بُطُونِهَا
buṭoonihaa
their bellies
وَلَكُمۡ
wa-lakum
and for you
فِيهَا
feehaa
in them
مَنَٰفِعُ
manaafiʻu
(are) benefits
كَثِيرَةٞ
kas̤eeratuñw
many
وَمِنۡهَا
waminhaa
and of them
تَأۡكُلُونَ
taʹkuloon;
you eat
٢١
23:22
وَعَلَيۡهَا
Wa-ʻalayhaa
And on them
وَعَلَى
wa-ʻalal
and on
ٱلۡفُلۡكِ
fulki
[the] ships
تُحۡمَلُونَ
tuḥmaloon.
you are carried
٢٢
23:23
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad.
And verily
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
ʹarsalnaa
We sent
نُوحًا
Nooḥan
Nuh
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
قَوۡمِهِۦ
q̣awmihee
his people
فَقَالَ
faq̣aala
and he said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
q̣awmiʻbudul
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
مَا
maa-
not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّنۡ
min
(is) any
إِلَٰهٍ
ʹilaahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥٓۚ
g̣ayruh.
other than Him
أَفَلَا
ʹAfalaa
Then will not
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaq̣oon?
you fear
٢٣
23:24
فَقَالَ
Faq̣aalal
But said
ٱلۡمَلَؤُاْ
malaʹul
the chiefs
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(of) those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
مِن
miñ
among
قَوۡمِهِۦ
q̣awmihee
his people
مَا
maa-
This is not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
This is not
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
but
بَشَرٞ
basharum
a man
مِّثۡلُكُمۡ
mis̤lukum
like you
يُرِيدُ
yureedu
he wishes
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَتَفَضَّلَ
yatafaḍḍala
assert (his) superiority
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum:
over you
وَلَوۡ
wa-law
and if
شَآءَ
shaaaʹal
Allah had willed
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah had willed
لَأَنزَلَ
laʹañzala
surely He (would have) sent down
مَلَٰٓئِكَةٗ
malaaaʹikah:
Angels
مَّا
maa-
Not
سَمِعۡنَا
samiʻnaa
we heard
بِهَٰذَا
bihaaẓaa
of this
فِيٓ
feee
from
ءَابَآئِنَا
ʹaabaaaʹinal
our forefathers
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen.
our forefathers
٢٤
23:25
إِنۡ
ʹIn
Not
هُوَ
huwa
he
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
(is) but
رَجُلُۢ
rajulum
a man
بِهِۦ
bihee
in him
جِنَّةٞ
jinnatuñ
(is) madness
فَتَرَبَّصُواْ
fatarabbaṣoo
so wait
بِهِۦ
bihee
concerning him
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
حِينٖ
ḥeen.
a time
٢٥
23:26
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
رَبِّ
Rabbiñ
My Lord
ٱنصُرۡنِي
ṣurnee
Help me
بِمَا
bimaa
because
كَذَّبُونِ
kaẓẓaboon!
they deny me
٢٦
23:27
فَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ
Faʹawḥaynaaa
So We inspired
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhi
to him
أَنِ
ʹaniṣ
That
ٱصۡنَعِ
naʻil
construct
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
Fulka
the ship
بِأَعۡيُنِنَا
biʹaʻyuninaa
under Our eyes
وَوَحۡيِنَا
wa-waḥyinaa
and Our inspiration
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
then when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
أَمۡرُنَا
ʹAmrunaa
Our Command
وَفَارَ
wa-faarat
and gushes forth
ٱلتَّنُّورُ
tannooru
the oven
فَٱسۡلُكۡ
fasluk
then put
فِيهَا
feehaa
into it
مِن
miñ
of
كُلّٖ
kulliñ
every (kind)
زَوۡجَيۡنِ
zawjaynis̤
(of) mates
ٱثۡنَيۡنِ
nayni
two
وَأَهۡلَكَ
wa-ʹahlaka
and your family
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مَن
mañ
those
سَبَقَ
sabaq̣a
(has) preceded
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhil
against whom
ٱلۡقَوۡلُ
Q̣awlu
the Word
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
minhum:
thereof
وَلَا
wa-laa
And (do) not
تُخَٰطِبۡنِي
tukhaaṭibnee
address Me
فِي
fil
concerning
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
ظَلَمُوٓاْ
z̤̣alamoo;
wronged
إِنَّهُم
ʹinnahum
indeed they
مُّغۡرَقُونَ
mug̣raq̣oon.
(are) the ones to be drowned
