O mankind
ٱلنَّاسُ

مَثَلٞ

فَٱسۡتَمِعُواْ
fastamiʻoo
so listen
لَهُۥٓۚ
lah!
to it
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
تَدۡعُونَ
tadʻoona
you invoke
مِن
miñ
besides Allah
دُونِ
doonil
besides Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
besides Allah
لَن
lañy
will never
يَخۡلُقُواْ
yakhluq̣oo
create
ذُبَابٗا
ẓubaabañw
a fly
وَلَوِ
walawij
even if
ٱجۡتَمَعُواْ
tamaʻoo
they gathered together
لَهُۥۖ
lah!
for it
وَإِن
Wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَسۡلُبۡهُمُ
yaslubhumuẓ
snatched away from them
ٱلذُّبَابُ
ẓubaabu
the fly
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹal
a thing
لَّا
laa
not
يَسۡتَنقِذُوهُ
yastañq̣iẓoohu
they (could) take it back
مِنۡهُۚ
minh.
from it
ضَعُفَ
Ḍaʻufaṭ
So weak
ٱلطَّالِبُ
ṭaalibu
(are) the seeker
وَٱلۡمَطۡلُوبُ
wal-maṭloob!
and the one who is sought
٧٣
22:74
مَا
Maa-
Not
قَدَرُواْ
q̣adarul
they (have) estimated
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(with) due
قَدۡرِهِۦٓۚ
q̣adrih:
[His] estimation
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
لَقَوِيٌّ
la-Q̣awiyyun
(is) surely All-Strong
عَزِيزٌ
ʻAzeez!
All-Mighty
٧٤
22:75
ٱللَّهُ
ʹAllaahu
Allah
يَصۡطَفِي
yasṭafee
chooses
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
malaaaʹikati
the Angels
رُسُلٗا
Rusulañw
Messengers
وَمِنَ
Waminan
and from
ٱلنَّاسِۚ
naas:
the mankind
إِنَّ
ʹinnal
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
Sameeʻum
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٞ
Baṣeer.
All-Seer
٧٥
22:76
يَعۡلَمُ
Yaʻlamu
He knows
مَا
maa-
what
بَيۡنَ
bayna
(is) before them
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
ʹaydeehim
(is) before them
وَمَا
wa-maa
and what
خَلۡفَهُمۡۚ
khalfahum:
(is) after them
وَإِلَى
wa-ʹilal
And to
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
تُرۡجَعُ
turjaʻul
return
ٱلۡأُمُورُ
ʹumoor.
all the matters
٧٦
22:77
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
O you who believe
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanur
O you who believe
ٱرۡكَعُواْ
kaʻoo
Bow
وَٱسۡجُدُواْۤ
wasjudoo
and prostrate
وَٱعۡبُدُواْ
waʻbudoo
and worship
رَبَّكُمۡ
Rabbakum
your Lord
وَٱفۡعَلُواْ
wafʻalul
and do
ٱلۡخَيۡرَ
khayra
[the] good
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ۩
tufliḥoon.
be successful
٧٧
22:78
وَجَٰهِدُواْ
Wa-jaahidoo
And strive
فِي
fil
for
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(with the) striving due (to) Him
جِهَادِهِۦۚ
jihaadih.
(with the) striving due (to) Him
هُوَ
Huwaj
He
ٱجۡتَبَىٰكُمۡ
tabaakum
(has) chosen you
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
جَعَلَ
jaʻala
placed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدِّينِ
deeni
the religion
مِنۡ
min
any
حَرَجٖۚ
ḥaraj;
difficulty
مِّلَّةَ
Millata
(The) religion
أَبِيكُمۡ
ʹabeekum
(of) your father
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۚ
ʹIbraaheem.
Ibrahim
هُوَ
Huwa
He
سَمَّىٰكُمُ
sammaakumul
named you
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeen.
Muslims
مِن
Miñ
before
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
وَفِي
wa-fee
and in
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
this
لِيَكُونَ
liyakoonar
that may be
ٱلرَّسُولُ
Rasoolu
the Messenger
شَهِيدًا
shaheedan
a witness
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
over you
وَتَكُونُواْ
wa-takoonoo
and you may be
شُهَدَآءَ
shuhadaaaʹa
witnesses
عَلَى
ʻalan
on
ٱلنَّاسِۚ
naas!
the mankind
فَأَقِيمُواْ
Faʹaq̣eemuṣ
So establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Ṣalaata
the prayer
وَءَاتُواْ
wa-ʹaatuz
and give
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
Zakaata
zakah
وَٱعۡتَصِمُواْ
waʻtaṣimoo
and hold fast
بِٱللَّهِ
billaah!
to Allah
هُوَ
Huwa
He
مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ
Mawlaakum
(is) your Protector
فَنِعۡمَ
faniʻmal
so an Excellent
ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ
Mawlaa
[the] Protector
وَنِعۡمَ
wa-niʻman
and an Excellent
ٱلنَّصِيرُ
Naṣeer.
[the] Helper
