21:82
وَمِنَ
Wa-minash
And of
ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ
shayaaṭeeni
the devils
مَن
mañy
(were some) who
يَغُوصُونَ
yag̣ooṣoona
would dive
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
وَيَعۡمَلُونَ
wa-yaʻmaloona
and would do
عَمَلٗا
ʻamalañ
work
دُونَ
doona
other than
ذَٰلِكَۖ
ẓaalik;
that
وَكُنَّا
wa-kunnaa
And We were
لَهُمۡ
lahum
of them
حَٰفِظِينَ
Ḥaafiz̤̣een.
Guardians
٨٢
21:83
۞وَأَيُّوبَ
Wa-ʹAyyooba
And Ayub
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
نَادَىٰ
naadaa
he called
رَبَّهُۥٓ
Rabbahooo
(to) his Lord
أَنِّي
ʹannee
Indeed [I]
مَسَّنِيَ
massaniyaḍ
has touched me
ٱلضُّرُّ
ḍurru
the adversity
وَأَنتَ
wa-ʹAñta
and You
أَرۡحَمُ
ʹArḥamur
(are) Most Merciful
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
raaḥimeen.
(of) the Merciful
٨٣
21:84
فَٱسۡتَجَبۡنَا
Fastajabnaa
So We responded
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to him
فَكَشَفۡنَا
fakashafnaa
and We removed
مَا
maa-
what
بِهِۦ
bihee
(was) on him
مِن
miñ
of
ضُرّٖۖ
ḍurriñw
(the) adversity
وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ
waʹaataynaahu
And We gave him
أَهۡلَهُۥ
ʹahlahoo
his family
وَمِثۡلَهُم
wa-mis̤lahum
and (the) like thereof
مَّعَهُمۡ
maʻahum
with them
رَحۡمَةٗ
Raḥmatam
(as) Mercy
مِّنۡ
min
from Ourselves
عِندِنَا
ʻIñdinaa
from Ourselves
وَذِكۡرَىٰ
waẓikraa
and a reminder
لِلۡعَٰبِدِينَ
lilʻaabideen.
for the worshippers
٨٤
21:85
وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
Wa-ʹIsmaaʻeela
And Ishmael
وَإِدۡرِيسَ
wa-ʹIdreesa
and Idris
وَذَا
wa-Ẓal
and Dhul-Kifl
ٱلۡكِفۡلِۖ
kifl:
and Dhul-Kifl
كُلّٞ
kullum
all
مِّنَ
minaṣ
(were) of
ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
Ṣaabireen;
the patient ones
٨٥
21:86
وَأَدۡخَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
Wa-ʹadkhalnaahum
And We admitted them
فِي
fee
in
رَحۡمَتِنَآۖ
Raḥmatinaa:
Our Mercy
إِنَّهُم
ʹinnahum
Indeed they
مِّنَ
minaṣ
(were) of
ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
Ṣaaliḥeen.
the righteous
٨٦
21:87
وَذَا
Wa-Ẓan
And Dhun-Nun
ٱلنُّونِ
Nooni
And Dhun-Nun
إِذ
ʹiẓ
when
ذَّهَبَ
ẓahaba
he went
مُغَٰضِبٗا
mug̣aaḍibañ
(while) angry
فَظَنَّ
fa-Z̤̣anna
and thought
أَن
ʹal
that
لَّن
lan
never
نَّقۡدِرَ
naq̣dira
We would decree
عَلَيۡهِ
ʻalayhi
upon him
فَنَادَىٰ
fanaadaa
Then he called
فِي
fiz̤̣
in
ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ
z̤̣ulumaati
the darkness(es)
أَن
ʹal
that
لَّآ
˹Laaa
(There is) no
إِلَٰهَ
ʹilaaha
god
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَنتَ
ʹAñta
You
سُبۡحَٰنَكَ
Subḥaanaka
Glory be to You
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed [I]
كُنتُ
kuñtu
I am
مِنَ
minaz̤̣
of
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen˺!
the wrongdoers
٨٧
21:88
فَٱسۡتَجَبۡنَا
Fastajabnaa
So We responded
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to him
وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ
wa-najjaynaahu
and We saved him
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡغَمِّۚ
g̣amm:
the distress
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wa-kaẓaalika
And thus
نُـۨجِي
nuñjil
We save
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen.
the believers
٨٨
21:89
وَزَكَرِيَّآ
Wa-Zakariyyaaa
And Zakariya
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
نَادَىٰ
naadaa
he called
رَبَّهُۥ
Rabbahoo
(to) his Lord
رَبِّ
Rabbi
My Lord
لَا
laa-
(Do) not
تَذَرۡنِي
taẓarnee
leave me
فَرۡدٗا
fardañw
alone
وَأَنتَ
waʹAñta
while You
خَيۡرُ
Khayrul
(are) [the] Best
ٱلۡوَٰرِثِينَ
waaris̤een.
(of) the inheritors
٨٩
21:90
فَٱسۡتَجَبۡنَا
Fastajabnaa
So We responded
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to him
وَوَهَبۡنَا
wa-wahabnaa
and We bestowed
لَهُۥ
lahoo
on him
يَحۡيَىٰ
Yaḥyaa
Yahya
وَأَصۡلَحۡنَا
wa-ʹaṣlaḥnaa
and We cured
لَهُۥ
lahoo
for him
زَوۡجَهُۥٓۚ
zawjah.
his wife
إِنَّهُمۡ
ʹInnahum
Indeed they
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
used (to)
يُسَٰرِعُونَ
yusaariʻoona
hasten
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡخَيۡرَٰتِ
khayraati
good deeds
وَيَدۡعُونَنَا
wa-yadʻoonanaa
and they supplicate to Us
رَغَبٗا
rag̣abañw
(in) hope
وَرَهَبٗاۖ
warahabaa:
and fear
وَكَانُواْ
wa-kaanoo
and they were
لَنَا
lanaa
to Us
خَٰشِعِينَ
khaashiʻeen.
humbly submissive
