21:58فَجَعَلَهُمۡfaja'alahumSo he made themجُذَٰذًاjudhadhan(into) piecesإِلَّاillaexceptكَبِيرٗاkabirana large (one)لَّهُمۡlahumof themلَعَلَّهُمۡla'allahumso that they mayإِلَيۡهِilayhito itيَرۡجِعُونَyarji'unareturn٥٨
21:59قَالُواْqaluThey saidمَنmanWhoفَعَلَfa'ala(has) doneهَٰذَاhadhathisبِـَٔالِهَتِنَآbialihatinato our godsإِنَّهُۥinnahuIndeed heلَمِنَlamina(is) ofٱلظَّٰلِمِينَal-zaliminathe wrongdoers٥٩
21:60قَالُواْqaluThey saidسَمِعۡنَاsami'naWe heardفَتٗىfatana youthيَذۡكُرُهُمۡyadhkuruhummention themيُقَالُyuqaluhe is calledلَهُۥٓlahuhe is calledإِبۡرَٰهِيمُib'rahimuIbrahim٦٠
21:61قَالُواْqaluThey saidفَأۡتُواْfatuThen bringبِهِۦbihihimعَلَىٰٓalabeforeأَعۡيُنِa'yuni(the) eyesٱلنَّاسِal-nasi(of) the peopleلَعَلَّهُمۡla'allahumso that they mayيَشۡهَدُونَyashhadunabear witness٦١
21:62قَالُوٓاْqaluThey saidءَأَنتَa-antaHave youفَعَلۡتَfa'altadoneهَٰذَاhadhathisبِـَٔالِهَتِنَاbialihatinato our godsيَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُyaib'rahimuO Ibrahim٦٢
21:63قَالَqalaHe saidبَلۡbalNayفَعَلَهُۥfa'alahu(some doer) did itكَبِيرُهُمۡkabiruhumTheir chiefهَٰذَاhadha(is) thisفَسۡـَٔلُوهُمۡfasaluhumSo ask themإِنinifكَانُواْkanuthey (can)يَنطِقُونَyantiqunaspeak٦٣
21:64فَرَجَعُوٓاْfaraja'uSo they returnedإِلَىٰٓilatoأَنفُسِهِمۡanfusihimthemselvesفَقَالُوٓاْfaqaluand saidإِنَّكُمۡinnakumIndeed youأَنتُمُantumu[you]ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَal-zalimuna(are) the wrongdoers٦٤
21:65ثُمَّthummaThenنُكِسُواْnukisuthey were turnedعَلَىٰalaonرُءُوسِهِمۡruusihimtheir headsلَقَدۡlaqadVerilyعَلِمۡتَalim'tayou knowمَاmanotهَٰٓؤُلَآءِhaulaitheseيَنطِقُونَyantiquna(can) speak٦٥
21:66قَالَqalaHe saidأَفَتَعۡبُدُونَafata'budunaThen do you worshipمِنminbesidesدُونِdunibesidesٱللَّهِal-lahiAllahمَاmawhatلَاla(does) notيَنفَعُكُمۡyanfa'ukumbenefit youشَيۡـٔٗاshayan(in) anythingوَلَاwalaand notيَضُرُّكُمۡyadurrukumharms you٦٦
21:67أُفّٖuffinUffلَّكُمۡlakumto youوَلِمَاwalimaand to whatتَعۡبُدُونَta'budunayou worshipمِنminbesidesدُونِdunibesidesٱللَّهِۚal-lahiAllahأَفَلَاafalaThen will notتَعۡقِلُونَta'qilunayou use reason٦٧
21:68قَالُواْqaluThey saidحَرِّقُوهُharriquhuBurn himوَٱنصُرُوٓاْwa-unsuruand supportءَالِهَتَكُمۡalihatakumyour godsإِنinifكُنتُمۡkuntumyou areفَٰعِلِينَfa'ilinadoers٦٨
21:69قُلۡنَاqul'naWe saidيَٰنَارُyanaruO fireكُونِيkuniBeبَرۡدٗاbardancool[ness]وَسَلَٰمًاwasalamanand safe[ty]عَلَىٰٓalaforإِبۡرَٰهِيمَib'rahimaIbrahim٦٩
21:70وَأَرَادُواْwa-araduAnd they intendedبِهِۦbihifor himكَيۡدٗاkaydana planفَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمُfaja'alnahumubut We made themٱلۡأَخۡسَرِينَal-akhsarinathe greatest losers٧٠
21:71وَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُwanajjaynahuAnd We delivered himوَلُوطًاwalutanand Lutإِلَىilatoٱلۡأَرۡضِal-ardithe landٱلَّتِيallatiwhichبَٰرَكۡنَاbaraknaWe (had) blessedفِيهَاfiha[in it]لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَlil'alaminafor the worlds٧١
21:72وَوَهَبۡنَاwawahabnaAnd We bestowedلَهُۥٓlahuon himإِسۡحَٰقَis'haqaIsaacوَيَعۡقُوبَwaya'qubaand Yaqubنَافِلَةٗۖnafilatan(in) additionوَكُلّٗاwakullanand allجَعَلۡنَاja'alnaWe madeصَٰلِحِينَsalihinarighteous٧٢
