وَٱصۡبِرۡ
wa-is'bir
And be patient
نَفۡسَكَ
nafsaka
yourself
مَعَ

ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَدۡعُونَ

call
رَبَّهُم
rabbahum
their Lord
بِٱلۡغَدَوٰةِ
bil-ghadati
in the morning
وَٱلۡعَشِيِّ
wal-'ashiyi
and the evening
يُرِيدُونَ
yuriduna
desiring
وَجۡهَهُۥۖ
wajhahu
His Face
وَلَا
wala
And (let) not
تَعۡدُ
ta'du
pass beyond
عَيۡنَاكَ
aynaka
your eyes
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
over them
تُرِيدُ
turidu
desiring
زِينَةَ
zinata
adornment
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
al-hayati
(of) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُطِعۡ
tuti'
obey
مَنۡ
man
whom
أَغۡفَلۡنَا
aghfalna
We have made heedless
قَلۡبَهُۥ
qalbahu
his heart
عَن
an
of
ذِكۡرِنَا
dhik'rina
Our remembrance
وَٱتَّبَعَ
wa-ittaba'a
and follows
هَوَىٰهُ
hawahu
his desires
وَكَانَ
wakana
and is
أَمۡرُهُۥ
amruhu
his affair
فُرُطٗا
furutan
(in) excess
٢٨
18:29
وَقُلِ
waquli
And say
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
The truth
مِن
min
(is) from
رَّبِّكُمۡۖ
rabbikum
your Lord
فَمَن
faman
so whoever
شَآءَ
shaa
wills
فَلۡيُؤۡمِن
falyu'min
let him believe
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
شَآءَ
shaa
wills
فَلۡيَكۡفُرۡۚ
falyakfur
let him disbelieve
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَعۡتَدۡنَا
a'tadna
have prepared
لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ
lilzzalimina
for the wrongdoers
نَارًا
naran
a Fire
أَحَاطَ
ahata
will surround
بِهِمۡ
bihim
them
سُرَادِقُهَاۚ
suradiquha
its walls
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَسۡتَغِيثُواْ
yastaghithu
they call for relief
يُغَاثُواْ
yughathu
they will be relieved
بِمَآءٖ
bimain
with water
كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ
kal-muh'li
like molten brass
يَشۡوِي
yashwi
(which) scalds
ٱلۡوُجُوهَۚ
al-wujuha
the faces
بِئۡسَ
bi'sa
Wretched
ٱلشَّرَابُ
al-sharabu
(is) the drink
وَسَآءَتۡ
wasaat
and evil
مُرۡتَفَقًا
mur'tafaqan
(is) the resting place

18:30
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
وَعَمِلُواْ
wa'amilu
and did
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
al-salihati
the good deeds
إِنَّا
inna
indeed We
لَا
la
will not let go waste
نُضِيعُ
nudi'u
will not let go waste
أَجۡرَ
ajra
(the) reward
مَنۡ
man
(of one) who
أَحۡسَنَ
ahsana
does good
عَمَلًا
amalan
deeds
٣٠
18:31
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
جَنَّٰتُ
jannatu
(are) Gardens
عَدۡنٖ
adnin
of Eden
تَجۡرِي
tajri
flows
مِن
min
from
تَحۡتِهِمُ
tahtihimu
underneath them
ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُ
al-anharu
the rivers
يُحَلَّوۡنَ
yuhallawna
They will be adorned
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
مِنۡ
min
[of] (with)
أَسَاوِرَ
asawira
bracelets
مِن
min
of
ذَهَبٖ
dhahabin
gold
وَيَلۡبَسُونَ
wayalbasuna
and will wear
ثِيَابًا
thiyaban
garments
خُضۡرٗا
khud'ran
green
مِّن
min
of
سُندُسٖ
sundusin
fine silk
وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٖ
wa-is'tabraqin
and heavy brocade
مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ
muttakiina
reclining
فِيهَا
fiha
therein
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡأَرَآئِكِۚ
al-araiki
adorned couches
نِعۡمَ
ni'ma
Excellent
ٱلثَّوَابُ
al-thawabu
(is) the reward
وَحَسُنَتۡ
wahasunat
and good
مُرۡتَفَقٗا
mur'tafaqan
(is) the resting place

18:32
۞وَٱضۡرِبۡ
wa-id'rib
And set forth
لَهُم
lahum
to them
مَّثَلٗا
mathalan
the example
رَّجُلَيۡنِ
rajulayni
of two men:
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We provided
لِأَحَدِهِمَا
li-ahadihima
for one of them
جَنَّتَيۡنِ
jannatayni
two gardens
مِنۡ
min
of
أَعۡنَٰبٖ
a'nabin
grapes
وَحَفَفۡنَٰهُمَا
wahafafnahuma
and We bordered them
بِنَخۡلٖ
binakhlin
with date-palms
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
and We placed
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
between both of them
زَرۡعٗا
zar'an
crops
٣٢
18:33
كِلۡتَا
kil'ta
Each
ٱلۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ
al-janatayni
(of) the two gardens
ءَاتَتۡ
atat
brought forth
أُكُلَهَا
ukulaha
its produce
وَلَمۡ
walam
and not
تَظۡلِم
tazlim
did wrong
مِّنۡهُ
min'hu
of it
شَيۡـٔٗاۚ
shayan
anything
وَفَجَّرۡنَا
wafajjarna
And We caused to gush forth
خِلَٰلَهُمَا
khilalahuma
within them
نَهَرٗا
naharan
a river
٣٣
18:34
وَكَانَ
wakana
And was
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
ثَمَرٞ
thamarun
fruit
فَقَالَ
faqala
so he said
لِصَٰحِبِهِۦ
lisahibihi
to his companion
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
يُحَاوِرُهُۥٓ
yuhawiruhu
(was) talking with him
أَنَا۠
ana
I am
أَكۡثَرُ
aktharu
greater
مِنكَ
minka
than you
مَالٗا
malan
(in) wealth
وَأَعَزُّ
wa-a'azzu
and stronger
نَفَرٗا
nafaran
(in) men
٣٤
