وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَهۡدِ
yahdil
Allah guides
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
Allah guides
فَهُوَ
fahuwal
then he (is)
ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِۖ
muhtad;
the guided one
وَمَن
wa-mañy
and whoever
يُضۡلِلۡ
yuḍlil
He lets go astray
فَلَن
falañ
then never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
ʹawliyaaaʹa
protectors
مِن
miñ
besides Him
دُونِهِۦۖ
doonih.
besides Him
وَنَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
Wa-naḥshuruhum
And We will gather them
يَوۡمَ
Yawmal
(on) the Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
on
وُجُوهِهِمۡ
wujoohihim
their faces
عُمۡيٗا
ʻumyañw
blind
وَبُكۡمٗا
Wabukmañw
and dumb
وَصُمّٗاۖ
waṣummaa:
and deaf
مَّأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
maʹwaahum
Their abode
جَهَنَّمُۖ
Jahannam:
(is) Hell
كُلَّمَا
kullamaa
every time
خَبَتۡ
khabat
it subsides
زِدۡنَٰهُمۡ
zidnaahum
We (will) increase (for) them
سَعِيرٗا
Saʻeeraa.
the blazing fire
٩٧
17:98
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
جَزَآؤُهُم
jazaaaʹuhum̃
(is) their recompense
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
biʹannahum
because they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieved
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biʹAayaatinaa
in Our Verses
وَقَالُوٓاْ
wa-q̣aalooo
and said
أَءِذَا
ʹa-ʹiẓaa
When
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we are
عِظَٰمٗا
ʻi-Z̤̣aamañw
bones
وَرُفَٰتًا
Warufaatan
and crumbled particles
أَءِنَّا
ʹa-ʹinnaa
will we
لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
lamabʻoos̤oona
surely (be) resurrected
خَلۡقٗا
khalq̣añ
(as) a creation
جَدِيدًا
jadeedaa?
new
٩٨
17:99
۞أَوَلَمۡ
ʹAwalam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laahal
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaq̣as
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-ʹarḍa
and the earth
قَادِرٌ
Q̣aadirun
(is) Able
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
[on]
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَخۡلُقَ
yakhluq̣a
create
مِثۡلَهُمۡ
mis̤lahum
the like of them
وَجَعَلَ
wa-jaʻala
And He has made
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَجَلٗا
ʹajalal
a term
لَّا
laa
no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِ
feeh.
in it
فَأَبَى
Faʹabaz̤̣
But refused
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoona
the wrongdoers
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
كُفُورٗا
kufooraa.
disbelief
٩٩
17:100
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّوۡ
law
If
أَنتُمۡ
ʹañtum
you
تَمۡلِكُونَ
tamlikoona
possess
خَزَآئِنَ
khazaaaʹina
the treasures
رَحۡمَةِ
Raḥmati
(of) the Mercy
رَبِّيٓ
Rabbeee
(of) my Lord
إِذٗا
ʹiẓal
then
لَّأَمۡسَكۡتُمۡ
laʹamsaktum
surely you would withhold
خَشۡيَةَ
khashyatal
(out of) fear
ٱلۡإِنفَاقِۚ
ʹiñfaaq̣:
(of) spending
وَكَانَ
wa-kaanal
And is
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
ʹiñsaanu
man
قَتُورٗا
q̣atooraa.
stingy
١٠٠
17:101
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And certainly
ءَاتَيۡنَا
ʹaataynaa
We had given
مُوسَىٰ
Moosaa
Musa
تِسۡعَ
tisʻa
nine
ءَايَٰتِۭ
ʹAayaatim
Signs
بَيِّنَٰتٖۖ
Bayyinaatiñ
clear
فَسۡـَٔلۡ
fasʹal
so ask
بَنِيٓ
Baneee
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(the) Children of Israel
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaaaʹahum
he came to them
فَقَالَ
faq̣aala
then said
لَهُۥ
lahoo
to him
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
Firʻawnu
Firaun
إِنِّي
ʹinnee
Indeed I
لَأَظُنُّكَ
laʹaz̤̣unnuka
[I] think you
يَٰمُوسَىٰ
yaa-Moosaa
O Musa
مَسۡحُورٗا
mas-ḥooraa.
(you are) bewitched
١٠١
17:102
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
لَقَدۡ
laq̣ad
Verily
عَلِمۡتَ
ʻalimta
you have known
مَآ
maaa
none
أَنزَلَ
ʹañzala
has sent down
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
these
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
رَبُّ
Rabbus
(the) Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
samaawaati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ʹarḍi
and the earth
بَصَآئِرَ
baṣaaaʹir:
(as) evidence
وَإِنِّي
wa-ʹinnee
and indeed I
لَأَظُنُّكَ
laʹaz̤̣unnuka
[I] surely think you
يَٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ
yaa-Firʻawnu
O Firaun
مَثۡبُورٗا
mas̤booraa!
(you are) destroyed
١٠٢
17:103
فَأَرَادَ
Faʹaraada
So he intended
أَن
ʹañy
to
يَسۡتَفِزَّهُم
yastafizzahum
drive them out
مِّنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the land
فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُ
faʹag̣raq̣naahu
but We drowned him
وَمَن
wa-mam
and who
مَّعَهُۥ
maʻahoo
(were) with him
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻaa.
all
١٠٣
17:104
وَقُلۡنَا
Wa-q̣ulnaa
And We said
مِنۢ
mim
after him
بَعۡدِهِۦ
baʻdihee
after him
لِبَنِيٓ
li-Baneee
to the Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeelas
to the Children of Israel
ٱسۡكُنُواْ
kunul
Dwell
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
ʹarḍa
(in) the land
فَإِذَا
faʹiẓaa
then when
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
comes
وَعۡدُ
Waʻdul
(the) promise
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
ʹaakhirati
(of) the Hereafter
جِئۡنَا
jiʹnaa
We will bring
بِكُمۡ
bikum
you
لَفِيفٗا
lafeefaa.
(as) a mixed crowd
