وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَهۡدِ
yahdi
Allah guides
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah guides
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
then he (is)
ٱلۡمُهۡتَدِۖ
al-muh'tadi
the guided one
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يُضۡلِلۡ
yud'lil
He lets go astray
فَلَن
falan
then never
تَجِدَ
tajida
you will find
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
protectors
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦۖ
dunihi
besides Him
وَنَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
wanahshuruhum
And We will gather them
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on) the Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
وُجُوهِهِمۡ
wujuhihim
their faces
عُمۡيٗا
um'yan
blind
وَبُكۡمٗا
wabuk'man
and dumb
وَصُمّٗاۖ
wasumman
and deaf
مَّأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
mawahum
Their abode
جَهَنَّمُۖ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
كُلَّمَا
kullama
every time
خَبَتۡ
khabat
it subsides
زِدۡنَٰهُمۡ
zid'nahum
We (will) increase (for) them
سَعِيرٗا
sa'iran
the blazing fire
٩٧
17:98
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
جَزَآؤُهُم
jazauhum
(is) their recompense
بِأَنَّهُمۡ
bi-annahum
because they
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
biayatina
in Our Verses
وَقَالُوٓاْ
waqalu
and said
أَءِذَا
a-idha
When
كُنَّا
kunna
we are
عِظَٰمٗا
izaman
bones
وَرُفَٰتًا
warufatan
and crumbled particles
أَءِنَّا
a-inna
will we
لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
lamab'uthuna
surely (be) resurrected
خَلۡقٗا
khalqan
(as) a creation
جَدِيدًا
jadidan
new
٩٨
17:99
۞أَوَلَمۡ
awalam
Do not
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
قَادِرٌ
qadirun
(is) Able
عَلَىٰٓ
ala
[on]
أَن
an
to
يَخۡلُقَ
yakhluqa
create
مِثۡلَهُمۡ
mith'lahum
the like of them
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
And He has made
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَجَلٗا
ajalan
a term
لَّا
la
no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِ
fihi
in it
فَأَبَى
fa-aba
But refused
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
al-zalimuna
the wrongdoers
إِلَّا
illa
except
كُفُورٗا
kufuran
disbelief
٩٩
17:100
قُل
qul
Say
لَّوۡ
law
If
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
تَمۡلِكُونَ
tamlikuna
possess
خَزَآئِنَ
khazaina
the treasures
رَحۡمَةِ
rahmati
(of) the Mercy
رَبِّيٓ
rabbi
(of) my Lord
إِذٗا
idhan
then
لَّأَمۡسَكۡتُمۡ
la-amsaktum
surely you would withhold
خَشۡيَةَ
khashyata
(out of) fear
ٱلۡإِنفَاقِۚ
al-infaqi
(of) spending
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ
al-insanu
man
قَتُورٗا
qaturan
stingy
١٠٠
17:101
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
ءَاتَيۡنَا
atayna
We had given
مُوسَىٰ
musa
Musa
تِسۡعَ
tis'a
nine
ءَايَٰتِۭ
ayatin
Signs
بَيِّنَٰتٖۖ
bayyinatin
clear
فَسۡـَٔلۡ
fasal
so ask
بَنِيٓ
bani
(the) Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
(the) Children of Israel
إِذۡ
idh
when
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
he came to them
فَقَالَ
faqala
then said
لَهُۥ
lahu
to him
فِرۡعَوۡنُ
fir'awnu
Firaun
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I
لَأَظُنُّكَ
la-azunnuka
[I] think you
يَٰمُوسَىٰ
yamusa
O Musa
مَسۡحُورٗا
mashuran
(you are) bewitched
١٠١
17:102
قَالَ
qala
He said
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
عَلِمۡتَ
alim'ta
you have known
مَآ
ma
none
أَنزَلَ
anzala
has sent down
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
these
إِلَّا
illa
except
رَبُّ
rabbu
(the) Lord
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
wal-ardi
and the earth
بَصَآئِرَ
basaira
(as) evidence
وَإِنِّي
wa-inni
and indeed I
لَأَظُنُّكَ
la-azunnuka
[I] surely think you
يَٰفِرۡعَوۡنُ
yafir'awnu
O Firaun
مَثۡبُورٗا
mathburan
(you are) destroyed
١٠٢
17:103
فَأَرَادَ
fa-arada
So he intended
أَن
an
to
يَسۡتَفِزَّهُم
yastafizzahum
drive them out
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the land
فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُ
fa-aghraqnahu
but We drowned him
وَمَن
waman
and who
مَّعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
(were) with him
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
١٠٣
17:104
وَقُلۡنَا
waqul'na
And We said
مِنۢ
min
after him
بَعۡدِهِۦ
ba'dihi
after him
لِبَنِيٓ
libani
to the Children of Israel
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
to the Children of Israel
ٱسۡكُنُواْ
us'kunu
Dwell
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
al-arda
(in) the land
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
then when
جَآءَ
jaa
comes
وَعۡدُ
wa'du
(the) promise
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
(of) the Hereafter
جِئۡنَا
ji'na
We will bring
بِكُمۡ
bikum
you
لَفِيفٗا
lafifan
(as) a mixed crowd
١٠٤
