وَمَا
wama
And not
مَنَعَنَآ
mana'ana
stopped Us
أَن

نُّرۡسِلَ
nur'sila
We send
بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
bil-ayati
the Signs
إِلَّآ
illa
except
أَن
an
that
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
denied
بِهَا
biha
them
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَۚ
al-awaluna
the former (people)
وَءَاتَيۡنَا
waatayna
And We gave
ثَمُودَ
thamuda
Thamud
ٱلنَّاقَةَ
al-naqata
the she-camel
مُبۡصِرَةٗ
mub'siratan
(as) a visible sign
فَظَلَمُواْ
fazalamu
but they wronged
بِهَاۚ
biha
her
وَمَا
wama
And not
نُرۡسِلُ
nur'silu
We send
بِٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
bil-ayati
the Signs
إِلَّا
illa
except
تَخۡوِيفٗا
takhwifan
(as) a warning
٥٩
17:60
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
قُلۡنَا
qul'na
We said
لَكَ
laka
to you
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
أَحَاطَ
ahata
has encompassed
بِٱلنَّاسِۚ
bil-nasi
the mankind
وَمَا
wama
And not
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We made
ٱلرُّءۡيَا
al-ru'ya
the vision
ٱلَّتِيٓ
allati
which
أَرَيۡنَٰكَ
araynaka
We showed you
إِلَّا
illa
except
فِتۡنَةٗ
fit'natan
(as) a trial
لِّلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for mankind
وَٱلشَّجَرَةَ
wal-shajarata
and the tree
ٱلۡمَلۡعُونَةَ
al-mal'unata
the accursed
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ
al-qur'ani
the Quran
وَنُخَوِّفُهُمۡ
wanukhawwifuhum
And We threaten them
فَمَا
fama
but not
يَزِيدُهُمۡ
yaziduhum
it increases them
إِلَّا
illa
except
طُغۡيَٰنٗا
tugh'yanan
(in) transgression
كَبِيرٗا
kabiran
great
٦٠
17:61
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
قُلۡنَا
qul'na
We said
لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
lil'malaikati
to the Angels
ٱسۡجُدُواْ
us'judu
Prostrate
لِأٓدَمَ
liadama
to Adam
فَسَجَدُوٓاْ
fasajadu
So they prostrated
إِلَّآ
illa
except
إِبۡلِيسَ
ib'lisa
Iblis
قَالَ
qala
He said
ءَأَسۡجُدُ
a-asjudu
Shall I prostrate
لِمَنۡ
liman
to (one) whom
خَلَقۡتَ
khalaqta
You created
طِينٗا
tinan
(from) clay
٦١
17:62
قَالَ
qala
He said
أَرَءَيۡتَكَ
ara-aytaka
Do You see
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
whom
كَرَّمۡتَ
karramta
You have honored
عَلَيَّ
alayya
above me
لَئِنۡ
la-in
If
أَخَّرۡتَنِ
akhartani
You give me respite
إِلَىٰ
ila
till
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
(the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
لَأَحۡتَنِكَنَّ
la-ahtanikanna
I will surely destroy
ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ
dhurriyyatahu
his offspring
إِلَّا
illa
except
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a few
٦٢
17:63
قَالَ
qala
He said
ٱذۡهَبۡ
idh'hab
Go
فَمَن
faman
and whoever
تَبِعَكَ
tabi'aka
follows you
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
among them
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
Hell
جَزَآؤُكُمۡ
jazaukum
(is) your recompense
جَزَآءٗ
jazaan
a recompense
مَّوۡفُورٗا
mawfuran
ample
٦٣
17:64
وَٱسۡتَفۡزِزۡ
wa-is'tafziz
And incite
مَنِ
mani
whoever
ٱسۡتَطَعۡتَ
is'tata'ta
you can
مِنۡهُم
min'hum
among them
بِصَوۡتِكَ
bisawtika
with your voice
وَأَجۡلِبۡ
wa-ajlib
and assault
عَلَيۡهِم
alayhim
[on] them
بِخَيۡلِكَ
bikhaylika
with your cavalry
وَرَجِلِكَ
warajilika
and infantry
وَشَارِكۡهُمۡ
washarik'hum
and be a partner
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَمۡوَٰلِ
al-amwali
the wealth
وَٱلۡأَوۡلَٰدِ
wal-awladi
and the children
وَعِدۡهُمۡۚ
wa'id'hum
and promise them
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَعِدُهُمُ
ya'iduhumu
promises them
ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ
al-shaytanu
the Shaitaan
إِلَّا
illa
except
غُرُورًا
ghururan
delusion
٦٤
17:65
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
عِبَادِي
ibadi
My slaves
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لَكَ
laka
for you
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
over them
سُلۡطَٰنٞۚ
sul'tanun
any authority
وَكَفَىٰ
wakafa
And sufficient
بِرَبِّكَ
birabbika
(is) your Lord
وَكِيلٗا
wakilan
(as) a Guardian
٦٥
17:66
رَّبُّكُمُ
rabbukumu
Your Lord
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
يُزۡجِي
yuz'ji
drives
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
al-ful'ka
the ship
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
al-bahri
the sea
لِتَبۡتَغُواْ
litabtaghu
that you may seek
مِن
min
of
فَضۡلِهِۦٓۚ
fadlihi
His Bounty
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
كَانَ
kana
is
بِكُمۡ
bikum
to you
رَحِيمٗا
rahiman
Ever Merciful
٦٦
