قَالَتۡ
Q̣aalat
She said
يَٰوَيۡلَتَىٰٓ
yaa-waylataaa
Woe to me
ءَأَلِدُ
ʹaʹalidu
Shall I bear a child
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ʹana
while I am
عَجُوزٞ
ʻajoozuñw
an old woman
وَهَٰذَا
Wahaaẓaa
and this
بَعۡلِي
baʻlee
my husband
شَيۡخًاۖ
shaykhaa?
(is) an old man
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
this
لَشَيۡءٌ
lashayʹun
(is) surely a thing
عَجِيبٞ
ʻajeeb!
amazing
٧٢
11:73
قَالُوٓاْ
Q̣aalooo
They said
أَتَعۡجَبِينَ
ʹataʻjabeena
Are you amazed
مِنۡ
min
at
أَمۡرِ
ʹAmril
(the) decree of Allah
ٱللَّهِۖ
laahi
(the) decree of Allah
رَحۡمَتُ
Raḥmatul
The Mercy of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
The Mercy of Allah
وَبَرَكَٰتُهُۥ
wa-Barakaatuhoo
and His blessings
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
(be) upon you
أَهۡلَ
ʹAhlal
people
ٱلۡبَيۡتِۚ
Bayt!
(of) the house
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed He
حَمِيدٞ
Ḥameedum
(is) All-Praiseworthy
مَّجِيدٞ
Majeed!
All-Glorious
٧٣
11:74
فَلَمَّا
Falammaa
And when
ذَهَبَ
ẓahaba
(had) gone away
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheemar
Ibrahim
ٱلرَّوۡعُ
rawʻu
the fright
وَجَآءَتۡهُ
wa-jaaaʹat
and had reached him
ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ
hul-bushraa
the glad tidings
يُجَٰدِلُنَا
yujaadilunaa
he argued with Us
فِي
fee
concerning
قَوۡمِ
Q̣awmi
the people
لُوطٍ
Looṭ.
of Lut
٧٤
11:75
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
Ibrahim
لَحَلِيمٌ
laḥaleemun
(was) certainly forbearing
أَوَّٰهٞ
ʹawwaahum
imploring
مُّنِيبٞ
muneeb.
and oft-returning
٧٥
11:76
يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
YaaaʹIbraaheemu
O Ibrahim
أَعۡرِضۡ
ʹaʻriḍ
Turn away
عَنۡ
ʻan
from
هَٰذَآۖ
haaẓaa.
this
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed it
قَدۡ
q̣ad
certainly
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
has come
أَمۡرُ
ʹamru
(the) Command
رَبِّكَۖ
Rabbik:
(of) your Lord
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
wa-ʹinnahum
and indeed [they]
ءَاتِيهِمۡ
ʹaateehim
(will) come (for) them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
a punishment
غَيۡرُ
g̣ayru
(which) cannot
مَرۡدُودٖ
mardood!
(be) repelled
٧٦
11:77
وَلَمَّا
Wa-lammaa
And when
جَآءَتۡ
jaaaʹat
came
رُسُلُنَا
Rusulunaa
Our messengers
لُوطٗا
Looṭañ
(to) Lut
سِيٓءَ
seeeʹa
he was distressed
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
وَضَاقَ
wa-ḍaaq̣a
and felt straitened
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
ذَرۡعٗا
ẓarʻañw
(and) uneasy
وَقَالَ
waq̣aala
and said
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
This
يَوۡمٌ
yawmun
(is) a day
عَصِيبٞ
ʻaṣeeb.
distressful
٧٧
11:78
وَجَآءَهُۥ
Wa-jaaaʹahoo
And came (to) him
قَوۡمُهُۥ
q̣awmuhoo
his people
يُهۡرَعُونَ
yuhraʻoona
rushing
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayh.
to him
وَمِن
Wa-miñ
and before
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
and before
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they (had) been
يَعۡمَلُونَ
yaʻmaloonas
doing
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ
sayyiʹaat.
the evil deeds
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaa-q̣awmi
O my people
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haaaʹulaaaʹi
These
بَنَاتِي
banaatee
(are) my daughters
هُنَّ
hunna
they
أَطۡهَرُ
ʹaṭharu
(are) purer
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum
for you
فَٱتَّقُواْ
fattaq̣ul
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (do) not
تُخۡزُونِ
tukhzooni
disgrace me
فِي
fee
concerning
ضَيۡفِيٓۖ
ḍayfee!
my guests
أَلَيۡسَ
ʹAlaysa
Is (there) not
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
among you
رَجُلٞ
rajulur
a man
رَّشِيدٞ
rasheed?
right-minded
٧٨
11:79
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
لَقَدۡ
laq̣ad
Verily
عَلِمۡتَ
ʻalimta
you know
مَا
maa-
(that) not
لَنَا
lanaa
we have
فِي
fee
concerning
بَنَاتِكَ
banaatika
your daughters
مِنۡ
min
any
حَقّٖ
ḥaq̣q̣:
right
وَإِنَّكَ
wa-ʹinnaka
And indeed you
لَتَعۡلَمُ
lataʻlamu
surely know
مَا
maa-
what
نُرِيدُ
nureed!
we want
٧٩
11:80
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
لَوۡ
law
If
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
لِي
lee
I had
بِكُمۡ
bikum
over you
قُوَّةً
q̣uwwatan
power
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
ءَاوِيٓ
aaweee
I could take refuge
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
in
رُكۡنٖ
rukniñ
a support
شَدِيدٖ
shadeed.
strong
٨٠
11:81
قَالُواْ
Q̣aaloo
They said
يَٰلُوطُ
Yaa-Looṭu
O Lut
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
رُسُلُ
Rusulu
(are) messengers
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَن
lañy
never
يَصِلُوٓاْ
yaṣilooo
they will reach
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ʹilayk:
you
فَأَسۡرِ
faʹasri
So travel
بِأَهۡلِكَ
biʹahlika
with your family
بِقِطۡعٖ
biq̣iṭʻim
in a part
مِّنَ
minal
of
ٱلَّيۡلِ
layli
the night
وَلَا
wa-laa
and (let) not
يَلۡتَفِتۡ
yaltafit
look back
مِنكُمۡ
miñkum
anyone of you
أَحَدٌ
ʹaḥadun
anyone of you
إِلَّا
ʹillam
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَكَۖ
raʹatak:
your wife
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹinnahoo
Indeed it
مُصِيبُهَا
muṣeebuhaa
will strike her
مَآ
maaa
what
أَصَابَهُمۡۚ
ʹaṣaabahum.
will strike them
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
مَوۡعِدَهُمُ
mawʻidahumuṣ
their appointed time
ٱلصُّبۡحُۚ
ṣubḥ.
(is) morning
أَلَيۡسَ
ʹAlaysaṣ
Is not
ٱلصُّبۡحُ
ṣubḥu
the morning
بِقَرِيبٖ
biq̣areeb?
near
