She said
يَٰوَيۡلَتَىٰٓ
yawaylata
Woe to me
ءَأَلِدُ

Shall I bear a child
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ana
while I am
عَجُوزٞ
ajuzun
an old woman
وَهَٰذَا
wahadha
and this
بَعۡلِي
ba'li
my husband
شَيۡخًاۖ
shaykhan
(is) an old man
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
لَشَيۡءٌ
lashayon
(is) surely a thing
عَجِيبٞ
ajibun
amazing
٧٢
11:73
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
أَتَعۡجَبِينَ
ata'jabina
Are you amazed
مِنۡ
min
at
أَمۡرِ
amri
(the) decree of Allah
ٱللَّهِۖ
al-lahi
(the) decree of Allah
رَحۡمَتُ
rahmatu
The Mercy of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
The Mercy of Allah
وَبَرَكَٰتُهُۥ
wabarakatuhu
and His blessings
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
(be) upon you
أَهۡلَ
ahla
people
ٱلۡبَيۡتِۚ
al-bayti
(of) the house
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed He
حَمِيدٞ
hamidun
(is) All-Praiseworthy
مَّجِيدٞ
majidun
All-Glorious
٧٣
11:74
فَلَمَّا
falamma
And when
ذَهَبَ
dhahaba
(had) gone away
عَنۡ
an
from
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
ٱلرَّوۡعُ
al-raw'u
the fright
وَجَآءَتۡهُ
wajaathu
and had reached him
ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ
al-bush'ra
the glad tidings
يُجَٰدِلُنَا
yujadiluna
he argued with Us
فِي
fi
concerning
قَوۡمِ
qawmi
the people
لُوطٍ
lutin
of Lut
٧٤
11:75
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
لَحَلِيمٌ
lahalimun
(was) certainly forbearing
أَوَّٰهٞ
awwahun
imploring
مُّنِيبٞ
munibun
and oft-returning
٧٥
11:76
يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُ
yaib'rahimu
O Ibrahim
أَعۡرِضۡ
a'rid
Turn away
عَنۡ
an
from
هَٰذَآۖ
hadha
this
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed it
قَدۡ
qad
certainly
جَآءَ
jaa
has come
أَمۡرُ
amru
(the) Command
رَبِّكَۖ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
وَإِنَّهُمۡ
wa-innahum
and indeed [they]
ءَاتِيهِمۡ
atihim
(will) come (for) them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
غَيۡرُ
ghayru
(which) cannot
مَرۡدُودٖ
mardudin
(be) repelled
٧٦
11:77
وَلَمَّا
walamma
And when
جَآءَتۡ
jaat
came
رُسُلُنَا
rusuluna
Our messengers
لُوطٗا
lutan
(to) Lut
سِيٓءَ
sia
he was distressed
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
وَضَاقَ
wadaqa
and felt straitened
بِهِمۡ
bihim
for them
ذَرۡعٗا
dhar'an
(and) uneasy
وَقَالَ
waqala
and said
هَٰذَا
hadha
This
يَوۡمٌ
yawmun
(is) a day
عَصِيبٞ
asibun
distressful
٧٧
11:78
وَجَآءَهُۥ
wajaahu
And came (to) him
قَوۡمُهُۥ
qawmuhu
his people
يُهۡرَعُونَ
yuh'ra'una
rushing
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to him
وَمِن
wamin
and before
قَبۡلُ
qablu
and before
كَانُواْ
kanu
they (had) been
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
doing
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ
al-sayiati
the evil deeds
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
These
بَنَاتِي
banati
(are) my daughters
هُنَّ
hunna
they
أَطۡهَرُ
atharu
(are) purer
لَكُمۡۖ
lakum
for you
فَٱتَّقُواْ
fa-ittaqu
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تُخۡزُونِ
tukh'zuni
disgrace me
فِي
fi
concerning
ضَيۡفِيٓۖ
dayfi
my guests
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is (there) not
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
among you
رَجُلٞ
rajulun
a man
رَّشِيدٞ
rashidun
right-minded
٧٨
11:79
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Verily
عَلِمۡتَ
alim'ta
you know
مَا
ma
(that) not
لَنَا
lana
we have
فِي
fi
concerning
بَنَاتِكَ
banatika
your daughters
مِنۡ
min
any
حَقّٖ
haqqin
right
وَإِنَّكَ
wa-innaka
And indeed you
لَتَعۡلَمُ
lata'lamu
surely know
مَا
ma
what
نُرِيدُ
nuridu
we want
٧٩
11:80
قَالَ
qala
He said
لَوۡ
law
If
أَنَّ
anna
that
لِي
li
I had
بِكُمۡ
bikum
over you
قُوَّةً
quwwatan
power
أَوۡ
aw
or
ءَاوِيٓ
awi
I could take refuge
إِلَىٰ
ila
in
رُكۡنٖ
ruk'nin
a support
شَدِيدٖ
shadidin
strong
٨٠
11:81
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
يَٰلُوطُ
yalutu
O Lut
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
رُسُلُ
rusulu
(are) messengers
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَن
lan
never
يَصِلُوٓاْ
yasilu
they will reach
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ilayka
you
فَأَسۡرِ
fa-asri
So travel
بِأَهۡلِكَ
bi-ahlika
with your family
بِقِطۡعٖ
biqit'in
in a part
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلَّيۡلِ
al-layli
the night
وَلَا
wala
and (let) not
يَلۡتَفِتۡ
yaltafit
look back
مِنكُمۡ
minkum
anyone of you
أَحَدٌ
ahadun
anyone of you
إِلَّا
illa
except
ٱمۡرَأَتَكَۖ
im'ra-ataka
your wife
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed it
مُصِيبُهَا
musibuha
will strike her
مَآ
ma
what
أَصَابَهُمۡۚ
asabahum
will strike them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
مَوۡعِدَهُمُ
maw'idahumu
their appointed time
ٱلصُّبۡحُۚ
al-sub'hu
(is) morning
أَلَيۡسَ
alaysa
Is not
ٱلصُّبۡحُ
al-sub'hu
the morning
بِقَرِيبٖ
biqaribin
near
٨١
