إِنَّهُۥ

عَمَلٌ

(his) deed
غَيۡرُ

(is) other than
صَٰلِحٖۖ
salihin
righteous
فَلَا
fala
so (do) not
تَسۡـَٔلۡنِ
tasalni
ask Me
مَا
ma
(about) what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لَكَ
laka
you have
بِهِۦ
bihi
of it
عِلۡمٌۖ
il'mun
any knowledge
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَعِظُكَ
a'izuka
admonish you
أَن
an
lest
تَكُونَ
takuna
you be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
al-jahilina
the ignorant
٤٦
11:47
قَالَ
qala
He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
O my Lord
إِنِّيٓ
inni
Indeed I
أَعُوذُ
a'udhu
seek refuge
بِكَ
bika
in You
أَنۡ
an
that
أَسۡـَٔلَكَ
asalaka
I (should) ask You
مَا
ma
what
لَيۡسَ
laysa
not
لِي
li
I have
بِهِۦ
bihi
of it
عِلۡمٞۖ
il'mun
knowledge
وَإِلَّا
wa-illa
And unless
تَغۡفِرۡ
taghfir
You forgive
لِي
li
me
وَتَرۡحَمۡنِيٓ
watarhamni
and You have mercy on me
أَكُن
akun
I will be
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ
al-khasirina
the losers
٤٧
11:48
قِيلَ
qila
It was said
يَٰنُوحُ
yanuhu
O Nuh
ٱهۡبِطۡ
ih'bit
Go down
بِسَلَٰمٖ
bisalamin
with peace
مِّنَّا
minna
from Us
وَبَرَكَٰتٍ
wabarakatin
and blessings
عَلَيۡكَ
alayka
on you
وَعَلَىٰٓ
wa'ala
and on
أُمَمٖ
umamin
the nations
مِّمَّن
mimman
from those
مَّعَكَۚ
ma'aka
with you
وَأُمَمٞ
wa-umamun
But (to other) nations
سَنُمَتِّعُهُمۡ
sanumatti'uhum
We will grant enjoyment
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَمَسُّهُم
yamassuhum
will touch them
مِّنَّا
minna
from Us
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٤٨
11:49
تِلۡكَ
til'ka
This
مِنۡ
min
(is) from
أَنۢبَآءِ
anbai
the news
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
نُوحِيهَآ
nuhiha
(which) We reveal
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ilayka
to you
مَا
ma
Not
كُنتَ
kunta
you were
تَعۡلَمُهَآ
ta'lamuha
knowing it
أَنتَ
anta
you
وَلَا
wala
and not
قَوۡمُكَ
qawmuka
your people
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
هَٰذَاۖ
hadha
this
فَٱصۡبِرۡۖ
fa-is'bir
So be patient
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
ٱلۡعَٰقِبَةَ
al-'aqibata
the end
لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
lil'muttaqina
(is) for the God fearing
٤٩
11:50
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ila
And to
عَادٍ
adin
Aad
أَخَاهُمۡ
akhahum
(We sent) their brother
هُودٗاۚ
hudan
Hud
قَالَ
qala
He said
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
ٱعۡبُدُواْ
u'budu
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مَا
ma
not
لَكُم
lakum
(is) for you
مِّنۡ
min
any
إِلَٰهٍ
ilahin
god
غَيۡرُهُۥٓۖ
ghayruhu
other than Him
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَنتُمۡ
antum
you
إِلَّا
illa
(are) but
مُفۡتَرُونَ
muf'taruna
inventors
٥٠
11:51
يَٰقَوۡمِ
yaqawmi
O my people
لَآ
la
Not
أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ
asalukum
I ask you
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
for it
أَجۡرًاۖ
ajran
any reward
إِنۡ
in
Not
أَجۡرِيَ
ajriya
(is) my reward
إِلَّا
illa
except
عَلَى
ala
from
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the One Who
فَطَرَنِيٓۚ
fatarani
created me
أَفَلَا
afala
Then will not
تَعۡقِلُونَ
ta'qiluna
you use reason
٥١
11:52
وَيَٰقَوۡمِ
wayaqawmi
And O my people
ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ
is'taghfiru
Ask forgiveness
رَبَّكُمۡ
rabbakum
(of) your Lord
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
تُوبُوٓاْ
tubu
turn in repentance
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
يُرۡسِلِ
yur'sili
He will send
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
al-samaa
(from) the sky (rain)
عَلَيۡكُم
alaykum
upon you
مِّدۡرَارٗا
mid'raran
(in) abundance
وَيَزِدۡكُمۡ
wayazid'kum
and increase you
قُوَّةً
quwwatan
(in) strength
إِلَىٰ
ila
(added) to
قُوَّتِكُمۡ
quwwatikum
your strength
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ
tatawallaw
turn away
مُجۡرِمِينَ
muj'rimina
(as) criminals

11:53
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
يَٰهُودُ
yahudu
O Hud
مَا
ma
You have not brought us
جِئۡتَنَا
ji'tana
You have not brought us
بِبَيِّنَةٖ
bibayyinatin
clear proofs
وَمَا
wama
and not
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
we
بِتَارِكِيٓ
bitariki
(will) leave
ءَالِهَتِنَا
alihatina
our gods
عَن
an
on
قَوۡلِكَ
qawlika
your saying
وَمَا
wama
and not
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
we (are)
لَكَ
laka
in you
بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ
bimu'minina
believers
