وَلَن
Wa-lañ
And never
تَرۡضَىٰ
tarḍaa
will be pleased
عَنكَ
ʻañkal
with you
ٱلۡيَهُودُ
Yahoodu
the Jews
وَلَا
wa-lan
and [not]
ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
Naṣaaraa
the Christians
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattaa
until
تَتَّبِعَ
tattabiʻa
you follow
مِلَّتَهُمۡۗ
millatahum.
their religion
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
هُدَى
Hudal
(the) Guidance
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
(of) Allah
هُوَ
huwal
it
ٱلۡهُدَىٰۗ
Hudaa.
(is) the Guidance
وَلَئِنِ
Wa-laʹinit
And if
ٱتَّبَعۡتَ
tabaʻta
you follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُم
ʹahwaaaʹahum
their desires
بَعۡدَ
baʻdal
after
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
what
جَآءَكَ
jaaaʹaka
has come to you
مِنَ
minal
of
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
ʻilmi
the knowledge
مَا
maa-
not
لَكَ
laka
for you
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
مِن
miñw
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyiñw
protector
وَلَا
walaa
and not
نَصِيرٍ
naṣeer.
any helper
١٢٠
2:121
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ʹaataynaahumul
We have given them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
يَتۡلُونَهُۥ
yatloonahoo
recite it
حَقَّ
ḥaq̣q̣a
(as it has the) right
تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ
tilaawatih:
(of) its recitation
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ʹUlaaaʹika
Those (people)
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoona
believe
بِهِۦۗ
bih.
in it
وَمَن
Wa-mañy
And whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
yakfur
disbelieves
بِهِۦ
bihee
in it
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
faʹulaaaʹika
then those
هُمُ
humul
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
khaasiroon.
(are) the losers
١٢١
2:122
يَٰبَنِيٓ
Yaa-Baneee
O Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeelaẓ
(of) Israel
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
kuroo
Remember
نِعۡمَتِيَ
niʻmatiyal
My Favor
ٱلَّتِيٓ
lateee
which
أَنۡعَمۡتُ
ʹanʻamtu
I bestowed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
ʻalaykum
upon you
وَأَنِّي
wa-ʹannee
and that I
فَضَّلۡتُكُمۡ
faḍḍaltukum
[I] preferred you
عَلَى
ʻalal
over
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen.
the worlds
١٢٢
2:123
وَٱتَّقُواْ
Wattaq̣oo
And fear
يَوۡمٗا
Yawmal
a day
لَّا
laa
not
تَجۡزِي
tajzee
will avail
نَفۡسٌ
nafsun
a soul
عَن
ʻan
(of)
نَّفۡسٖ
nafsiñ
(another) soul
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayʹañw
anything
وَلَا
walaa
and not
يُقۡبَلُ
yuq̣balu
will be accepted
مِنۡهَا
minhaa
from it
عَدۡلٞ
ʻadluñw
any compensation
وَلَا
Walaa
and not
تَنفَعُهَا
tañfaʻuhaa
will benefit it
شَفَٰعَةٞ
shafaaʻatunw
any intercession
وَلَا
walaa
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنصَرُونَ
yuñṣaroon.
will be helped
١٢٣
2:124
۞وَإِذِ
Wa-ʹiẓib
And when
ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ
talaaa
tried
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
ʹIbraaheema
Ibrahim
رَبُّهُۥ
Rabbuhoo
his Lord
بِكَلِمَٰتٖ
bi-Kalimaatiñ
with words
فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ
faʹatammahunna:
and he fulfilled them
قَالَ
q̣aala
He said
إِنِّي
ʹInnee
Indeed I
جَاعِلُكَ
jaaʻiluka
(am) the One to make you
لِلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
for the mankind
إِمَامٗاۖ
ʹImaamaa.
a leader
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
وَمِن
wa-miñ
And from
ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ
ẓurriyyatee!
my offspring
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
لَا
laa-
(Does) not
يَنَالُ
yanaalu
reach
عَهۡدِي
ʻahdiz̤̣
My Covenant
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
z̤̣aalimeen.
(to) the wrongdoers
١٢٤
2:125
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
جَعَلۡنَا
jaʻalnal
We made
ٱلۡبَيۡتَ
Bayta
the House
مَثَابَةٗ
mas̤aabatal
a place of return
لِّلنَّاسِ
linnaasi
for mankind
وَأَمۡنٗا
wa-ʹamnaa;
and (a place of) security
وَٱتَّخِذُواْ
wattakhiẓoo
and (said) Take
مِن
mim
[from]
مَّقَامِ
Maq̣aami
(the) standing place
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
ʹIbraaheema
(of) Ibrahim
مُصَلّٗىۖ
muṣallaa:
(as) a place of prayer
وَعَهِدۡنَآ
wa-ʻahidnaaa
And We made a covenant
إِلَىٰٓ
ʹilaaa
with
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
ʹIbraaheema
Ibrahim
وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
wa-ʹIsmaaʻeela
and Ishmael
أَن
ʹañ
[that]
طَهِّرَا
ṭahhiraa
[You both] purify
بَيۡتِيَ
Baytiya
My House
لِلطَّآئِفِينَ
liṭṭaaaʹifeena
for those who circumambulate
وَٱلۡعَٰكِفِينَ
walʻaakifeena
and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer
وَٱلرُّكَّعِ
warrukkaʻis
and those who bow down
ٱلسُّجُودِ
sujood.
and those who prostrate
١٢٥
2:126
وَإِذۡ
Wa-ʹiẓ
And when
قَالَ
q̣aala
said
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ
ʹIbraaheemu
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
Rabbij
My Lord
ٱجۡعَلۡ
ʻal
make
هَٰذَا
haaẓaa
this
بَلَدًا
Baladan
a city
ءَامِنٗا
ʹAaminañw
secure
وَٱرۡزُقۡ
warzuq̣
and provide
أَهۡلَهُۥ
ʹahlahoo
its people
مِنَ
minas̤
with
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
s̤amaraati
fruits
مَنۡ
man
(to) whoever
ءَامَنَ
ʹaamana
believed
مِنۡهُم
minhum̃
from them
بِٱللَّهِ
billaahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-Yawmil
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ
ʹAakhir.
the Last
قَالَ
Q̣aala
He said
وَمَن
wa-mañ
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieved
فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ
faʹumattiʻuhoo
[then] I will grant him enjoyment
قَلِيلٗا
q̣aleelañ
a little
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
أَضۡطَرُّهُۥٓ
ʹaḍṭarruhoo
I will force him
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
عَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabin
(the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِۖ
Naar,
(of) the Fire
وَبِئۡسَ
wa-biʹsal
and evil
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
maṣeer!
(is) the destination
