وَلَن
walan
And never
تَرۡضَىٰ
tarda
will be pleased
عَنكَ
anka
with you
ٱلۡيَهُودُ
al-yahudu
the Jews
وَلَا
wala
and [not]
ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
al-nasara
the Christians
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تَتَّبِعَ
tattabi'a
you follow
مِلَّتَهُمۡۗ
millatahum
their religion
قُلۡ
qul
Say
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
هُدَى
huda
(the) Guidance
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
هُوَ
huwa
it
ٱلۡهُدَىٰۗ
al-huda
(is) the Guidance
وَلَئِنِ
wala-ini
And if
ٱتَّبَعۡتَ
ittaba'ta
you follow
أَهۡوَآءَهُم
ahwaahum
their desires
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
what
جَآءَكَ
jaaka
has come to you
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
al-'il'mi
the knowledge
مَا
ma
not
لَكَ
laka
for you
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مِن
min
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyin
protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرٍ
nasirin
any helper
١٢٠
2:121
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
Those
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ataynahumu
We have given them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
يَتۡلُونَهُۥ
yatlunahu
recite it
حَقَّ
haqqa
(as it has the) right
تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ
tilawatihi
(of) its recitation
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those (people)
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yu'minuna
believe
بِهِۦۗ
bihi
in it
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَكۡفُرۡ
yakfur
disbelieves
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
then those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
al-khasiruna
(are) the losers
١٢١
2:122
يَٰبَنِيٓ
yabani
O Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
(of) Israel
ٱذۡكُرُواْ
udh'kuru
Remember
نِعۡمَتِيَ
ni'matiya
My Favor
ٱلَّتِيٓ
allati
which
أَنۡعَمۡتُ
an'amtu
I bestowed
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
وَأَنِّي
wa-anni
and that I
فَضَّلۡتُكُمۡ
faddaltukum
[I] preferred you
عَلَى
ala
over
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
the worlds
١٢٢
2:123
وَٱتَّقُواْ
wa-ittaqu
And fear
يَوۡمٗا
yawman
a day
لَّا
la
not
تَجۡزِي
tajzi
will avail
نَفۡسٌ
nafsun
a soul
عَن
an
(of)
نَّفۡسٖ
nafsin
(another) soul
شَيۡـٔٗا
shayan
anything
وَلَا
wala
and not
يُقۡبَلُ
yuq'balu
will be accepted
مِنۡهَا
min'ha
from it
عَدۡلٞ
adlun
any compensation
وَلَا
wala
and not
تَنفَعُهَا
tanfa'uha
will benefit it
شَفَٰعَةٞ
shafa'atun
any intercession
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يُنصَرُونَ
yunsaruna
will be helped
١٢٣
2:124
۞وَإِذِ
wa-idhi
And when
ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ
ib'tala
tried
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
رَبُّهُۥ
rabbuhu
his Lord
بِكَلِمَٰتٖ
bikalimatin
with words
فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ
fa-atammahunna
and he fulfilled them
قَالَ
qala
He said
إِنِّي
inni
Indeed I
جَاعِلُكَ
ja'iluka
(am) the One to make you
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for the mankind
إِمَامٗاۖ
imaman
a leader
قَالَ
qala
He said
وَمِن
wamin
And from
ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ
dhurriyyati
my offspring
قَالَ
qala
He said
لَا
la
(Does) not
يَنَالُ
yanalu
reach
عَهۡدِي
ahdi
My Covenant
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
al-zalimina
(to) the wrongdoers
١٢٤
2:125
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We made
ٱلۡبَيۡتَ
al-bayta
the House
مَثَابَةٗ
mathabatan
a place of return
لِّلنَّاسِ
lilnnasi
for mankind
وَأَمۡنٗا
wa-amnan
and (a place of) security
وَٱتَّخِذُواْ
wa-ittakhidhu
and (said) Take
مِن
min
[from]
مَّقَامِ
maqami
(the) standing place
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
ib'rahima
(of) Ibrahim
مُصَلّٗىۖ
musallan
(as) a place of prayer
وَعَهِدۡنَآ
wa'ahid'na
And We made a covenant
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
with
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
ib'rahima
Ibrahim
وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
wa-is'ma'ila
and Ishmael
أَن
an
[that]
طَهِّرَا
tahhira
[You both] purify
بَيۡتِيَ
baytiya
My House
لِلطَّآئِفِينَ
lilttaifina
for those who circumambulate
وَٱلۡعَٰكِفِينَ
wal-'akifina
and those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer
وَٱلرُّكَّعِ
wal-ruka'i
and those who bow down
ٱلسُّجُودِ
al-sujudi
and those who prostrate
١٢٥
2:126
وَإِذۡ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَ
qala
said
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ
ib'rahimu
Ibrahim
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱجۡعَلۡ
ij'al
make
هَٰذَا
hadha
this
بَلَدًا
baladan
a city
ءَامِنٗا
aminan
secure
وَٱرۡزُقۡ
wa-ur'zuq
and provide
أَهۡلَهُۥ
ahlahu
its people
مِنَ
mina
with
ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ
al-thamarati
fruits
مَنۡ
man
(to) whoever
ءَامَنَ
amana
believed
مِنۡهُم
min'hum
from them
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ
al-akhiri
the Last
قَالَ
qala
He said
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieved
فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ
fa-umatti'uhu
[then] I will grant him enjoyment
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
a little
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
أَضۡطَرُّهُۥٓ
adtarruhu
I will force him
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَذَابِ
adhabi
(the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِۖ
al-nari
(of) the Fire
وَبِئۡسَ
wabi'sa
and evil
ٱلۡمَصِيرُ
al-masiru
(is) the destination
١٢٦
