لَيۡسَتِ

ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ

the Christians
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
anything
وَقَالَتِ
waqalati
and said
ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
al-nasara
the Christians
لَيۡسَتِ
laysati
Not
ٱلۡيَهُودُ
al-yahudu
the Jews
عَلَىٰ
ala
(are) on
شَيۡءٖ
shayin
anything
وَهُمۡ
wahum
although they
يَتۡلُونَ
yatluna
recite
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَۗ
al-kitaba
the Book
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Like that
قَالَ
qala
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
مِثۡلَ
mith'la
similar
قَوۡلِهِمۡۚ
qawlihim
their saying
فَٱللَّهُ
fal-lahu
[So] Allah
يَحۡكُمُ
yahkumu
will judge
بَيۡنَهُمۡ
baynahum
between them
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) Resurrection
فِيمَا
fima
in what
كَانُواْ
kanu
they were
فِيهِ
fihi
[in it]
يَخۡتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifuna
differing
١١٣
2:114
وَمَنۡ
waman
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
azlamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّن
mimman
than (one) who
مَّنَعَ
mana'a
prevents
مَسَٰجِدَ
masajida
(the) masajid
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
أَن
an
to
يُذۡكَرَ
yudh'kara
be mentioned
فِيهَا
fiha
in them
ٱسۡمُهُۥ
us'muhu
His name
وَسَعَىٰ
wasa'a
and strives
فِي
fi
for
خَرَابِهَآۚ
kharabiha
their destruction
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
ulaika
Those
مَا
ma
Not
كَانَ
kana
it is
لَهُمۡ
lahum
for them
أَن
an
that
يَدۡخُلُوهَآ
yadkhuluha
they enter them
إِلَّا
illa
except
خَآئِفِينَۚ
khaifina
(like) those in fear
لَهُمۡ
lahum
For them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
the world
خِزۡيٞ
khiz'yun
(is) disgrace
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٞ
azimun
great
١١٤
2:115
وَلِلَّهِ
walillahi
And for Allah
ٱلۡمَشۡرِقُ
al-mashriqu
(is) the east
وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبُۚ
wal-maghribu
and the west
فَأَيۡنَمَا
fa-aynama
so wherever
تُوَلُّواْ
tuwallu
you turn
فَثَمَّ
fathamma
[so] there
وَجۡهُ
wajhu
(is the) face
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٰسِعٌ
wasi'un
(is) All-Encompassing
عَلِيمٞ
alimun
All-Knowing
١١٥
2:116
وَقَالُواْ
waqalu
And they said
ٱتَّخَذَ
ittakhadha
has taken
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
وَلَدٗاۗ
waladan
a son
سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۖ
sub'hanahu
Glory be to Him
بَل
bal
Nay
لَّهُۥ
lahu
for Him
مَا
ma
(is) what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
كُلّٞ
kullun
All
لَّهُۥ
lahu
to Him
قَٰنِتُونَ
qanituna
(are) humbly obedient
١١٦
2:117
بَدِيعُ
badi'u
(The) Originator
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
(of) the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ
wal-ardi
and the earth
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
قَضَىٰٓ
qada
He decrees
أَمۡرٗا
amran
a matter
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
[so] only
يَقُولُ
yaqulu
He says
لَهُۥ
lahu
to it
كُن
kun
Be
فَيَكُونُ
fayakunu
and it becomes
١١٧
2:118
وَقَالَ
waqala
And said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
لَوۡلَا
lawla
Why not
يُكَلِّمُنَا
yukallimuna
speaks to us
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَوۡ
aw
or
تَأۡتِينَآ
tatina
comes to us
ءَايَةٞۗ
ayatun
a sign
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Like that
قَالَ
qala
said
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِهِم
qablihim
before them
مِّثۡلَ
mith'la
similar
قَوۡلِهِمۡۘ
qawlihim
their saying
تَشَٰبَهَتۡ
tashabahat
Became alike
قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ
qulubuhum
their hearts
قَدۡ
qad
Indeed
بَيَّنَّا
bayyanna
We have made clear
ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ
al-ayati
the signs
لِقَوۡمٖ
liqawmin
for people
يُوقِنُونَ
yuqinuna
(who) firmly believe
١١٨
2:119
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed We
أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ
arsalnaka
[We] have sent you
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
with the truth
بَشِيرٗا
bashiran
(as) a bearer of good news
وَنَذِيرٗاۖ
wanadhiran
and (as) a warner
وَلَا
wala
And not
تُسۡـَٔلُ
tus'alu
you will be asked
عَنۡ
an
about
أَصۡحَٰبِ
ashabi
(the) companions
ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
al-jahimi
(of) the blazing Fire
١١٩
