ءَايَٰتِ
ʹAayaati
(the) Signs
رَبِّكَ
Rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَا
laa
not
يَنفَعُ
yañfaʻu
will benefit
نَفۡسًا
nafsan
a soul
إِيمَٰنُهَا
ʹeemaanuhaa
its faith
لَمۡ
lam
not
تَكُنۡ
takun
(if) it had
ءَامَنَتۡ
ʹaamanat
believed
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلُ
q̣ablu
before
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
كَسَبَتۡ
kasabat
earned
فِيٓ
feee
through
إِيمَٰنِهَا
ʹeemaanihaa
its faith
خَيۡرٗاۗ
khayraa.
any good
قُلِ
Q̣uliñ
Say
ٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ
taz̤̣irooo
Wait
إِنَّا
ʹinnaa
Indeed we
مُنتَظِرُونَ
muñtaz̤̣iroon.
(are) those who wait
١٥٨
6:159
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
فَرَّقُواْ
farraq̣oo
divide
دِينَهُمۡ
deenahum
their religion
وَكَانُواْ
wa-kaanoo
and become
شِيَعٗا
shiyaʻal
sects
لَّسۡتَ
lasta
you are not
مِنۡهُمۡ
minhum
with them
فِي
fee
in
شَيۡءٍۚ
shayʹ
anything
إِنَّمَآ
Innamaaa
Only
أَمۡرُهُمۡ
ʹamruhum
their affair
إِلَى
ʹilal
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
يُنَبِّئُهُم
yunabbiʹuhum̃
He will inform them
بِمَا
bimaa
of what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَفۡعَلُونَ
yafʻaloon.
do
١٥٩
6:160
مَن
Mañ
Whoever
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
came
بِٱلۡحَسَنَةِ
bilḥasanati
with a good deed
فَلَهُۥ
falahoo
then for him
عَشۡرُ
ʻashru
(is) ten (times)
أَمۡثَالِهَاۖ
ams̤aalihaa,
the like of it
وَمَن
wa-mañ
And whoever
جَآءَ
jaaaʹa
came
بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ
bis-sayyiʹati
with an evil deed
فَلَا
falaa
then not
يُجۡزَىٰٓ
yujzaaa
he will be recompensed
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
مِثۡلَهَا
mis̤lahaa
the like of it
وَهُمۡ
wahum
and they
لَا
laa-
will not
يُظۡلَمُونَ
yuz̤̣lamoon.
(be) wronged
١٦٠
6:161
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّنِي
ʹinnanee
Indeed (as for) me
هَدَىٰنِي
hadaanee
has guided me
رَبِّيٓ
Rabbeee
my Lord
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
صِرَٰطٖ
Ṣiraatim
a path
مُّسۡتَقِيمٖ
Mustaq̣eem,
straight
دِينٗا
Deenañ
a religion
قِيَمٗا
Q̣iyamam
right
مِّلَّةَ
Millata
religion
إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ
ʹIbraaheema
(of) Ibrahim
حَنِيفٗاۚ
ḥaneefaa,
a true monotheist
وَمَا
wa-maa
And not
كَانَ
kaana
he was
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeen.
the polytheists
١٦١
6:162
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّ
ʹinna
Indeed
صَلَاتِي
Ṣalaatee
my prayer
وَنُسُكِي
wa-nusukee
and my rites of sacrifice
وَمَحۡيَايَ
wa-maḥyaaya
and my living
وَمَمَاتِي
wa-mamaatee
and my dying
لِلَّهِ
lillaahi
(are) for Allah
رَبِّ
Rabbil
Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
ʻaalameen:
(of) the worlds
١٦٢
6:163
لَا
Laa-
No
شَرِيكَ
shareeka
partners
لَهُۥۖ
lah:
for Him
وَبِذَٰلِكَ
wa-biẓaalika
and with that
أُمِرۡتُ
ʹumirtu
I have been commanded
وَأَنَا۠
wa-ʹana
And I am
أَوَّلُ
ʹawwalul
(the) first
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ
Muslimeen.
(of) the ones who surrender (to Him)
١٦٣
6:164
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
أَغَيۡرَ
ag̣ayral
Is (it) other than
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
أَبۡغِي
ʹabg̣ee
I (should) seek
رَبّٗا
Rabbañw
(as) a Lord
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwa
while He
رَبُّ
Rabbu
(is) the Lord
كُلِّ
kulli
(of) every
شَيۡءٖۚ
shayʹ?
thing
وَلَا
Wa-laa
And not
تَكۡسِبُ
taksibu
earns
كُلُّ
kullu
every
نَفۡسٍ
nafsin
soul
إِلَّا
ʹillaa
except
عَلَيۡهَاۚ
ʻalayhaa:
against itself
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
تَزِرُ
taziru
bears
وَازِرَةٞ
waaziratuñw
any bearer of burden
وِزۡرَ
wizra
burden
أُخۡرَىٰۚ
ʹukhraa.
(of) another
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
إِلَىٰ
ʹilaa
to
رَبِّكُم
Rabbikum
your Lord
مَّرۡجِعُكُمۡ
marjiʻukum
(is) your return
فَيُنَبِّئُكُم
fayunabbiʹukum̃
then He will inform you
بِمَا
bimaa
about what
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you were
فِيهِ
feehi
concerning it
تَخۡتَلِفُونَ
takhtalifoon.
differing
١٦٤
6:165
وَهُوَ
Wa-Huwal
And He
ٱلَّذِي
laẓee
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَكُمۡ
jaʻalakum
(has) made you
خَلَٰٓئِفَ
khalaaaʹifal
successors
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
(of) the earth
وَرَفَعَ
wa-rafaʻa
and raised
بَعۡضَكُمۡ
baʻḍakum
some of you
فَوۡقَ
fawq̣a
above
بَعۡضٖ
baʻḍiñ
others
دَرَجَٰتٖ
darajaatil
(in) ranks
لِّيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ
liyabluwakum
so that He may test you
فِي
fee
in
مَآ
maaa
what
ءَاتَىٰكُمۡۗ
ʹaataakum:
He has given you
إِنَّ
ʹInna
Indeed
رَبَّكَ
Rabbaka
your Lord
سَرِيعُ
Sareeʻul
(is) swift
ٱلۡعِقَابِ
ʻiq̣aabi
(in) the punishment
وَإِنَّهُۥ
wa-ʹinnahoo
and indeed He (is)
لَغَفُورٞ
la-G̣afoorur
[certainly] Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمُۢ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
