Say
أَيُّ
ʹayyu
What
شَيۡءٍ
shayʹin
thing
أَكۡبَرُ
ʹakbaru
(is) greatest
شَهَٰدَةٗۖ
shahaadah?
(as) a testimony
قُلِ
Q̣ulil
Say
ٱللَّهُۖ
laahu
Allah
شَهِيدُۢ
shaheedum
(is) Witness
بَيۡنِي
baynee
between me
وَبَيۡنَكُمۡۚ
wa-baynakum,
and between you
وَأُوحِيَ
wa-ʹooḥiya
and has been revealed
إِلَيَّ
ʹilayya
to me
هَٰذَا
haaẓal
this
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
Q̣urʹaanu
[the] Quran
لِأُنذِرَكُم
liʹuñẓirakum̃
that I may warn you
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
وَمَنۢ
wa-mam
and whoever
بَلَغَۚ
balag̣.
it reaches
أَئِنَّكُمۡ
ʹAʹinnakum
Do you truly
لَتَشۡهَدُونَ
latashhadoona
testify
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
مَعَ
maʻal
with
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
ءَالِهَةً
ʹaalihatan
(there are) gods
أُخۡرَىٰۚ
ʹukhraa?
other
قُل
Q̣ul
Say
لَّآ
laaa
Not
أَشۡهَدُۚ
ʹashhad!
(do) I testify
قُلۡ
Q̣ul
Say
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
هُوَ
Huwa
He
إِلَٰهٞ
ʹIlaahuñw
(is) God
وَٰحِدٞ
Waaḥiduñw
One
وَإِنَّنِي
wa-ʹinnanee
and indeed I am
بَرِيٓءٞ
bareeeʹum
free
مِّمَّا
mimmaa
of what
تُشۡرِكُونَ
tushrikoon.
you associate (with Him)
١٩
6:20
ٱلَّذِينَ
Allaẓeena
Those (to) whom
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ʹaataynaahumul
We have given them
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
Kitaaba
the Book
يَعۡرِفُونَهُۥ
yaʻrifoonahoo
they recognize him
كَمَا
kamaa
as
يَعۡرِفُونَ
yaʻrifoona
they recognize
أَبۡنَآءَهُمُۘ
ʹabnaaaʹahum.
their sons
ٱلَّذِينَ
ʹAllaẓeena
Those who
خَسِرُوٓاْ
khasirooo
lost
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
فَهُمۡ
fahum
then they
لَا
laa-
(do) not
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuʹminoon.
believe
٢٠
6:21
وَمَنۡ
Wa-man
And who
أَظۡلَمُ
ʹaz̤̣lamu
(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِ
mim-manif
than (he) who
ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
taraa
invents
عَلَى
ʻalal
against
ٱللَّهِ
laahi
Allah
كَذِبًا
kaẓiban
a lie
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
كَذَّبَ
kaẓẓaba
rejects
بِـَٔايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ
biʹAayaatih?
His Signs
إِنَّهُۥ
ʹInnahoo
Indeed
لَا
laa-
not
يُفۡلِحُ
yufliḥuz̤̣
will be successful
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
z̤̣aalimoon.
the wrongdoers
٢١
6:22
وَيَوۡمَ
Wa-yawma
And (the) Day
نَحۡشُرُهُمۡ
naḥ-shuruhum
We will gather them
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻañ
all
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
then
نَقُولُ
naq̣oolu
We will say
لِلَّذِينَ
lil-laẓeena
to those who
أَشۡرَكُوٓاْ
ʹashrakooo
associated others with Allah
أَيۡنَ
ʹayna
Where (are)
شُرَكَآؤُكُمُ
shurakaaaʹukumul
your partners
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those whom
كُنتُمۡ
kuñtum
you used to
تَزۡعُمُونَ
tazʻumoon.
claim
٢٢
6:23
ثُمَّ
S̤umma
Then
لَمۡ
lam
not
تَكُن
takuñ
will be
فِتۡنَتُهُمۡ
fitnatuhum
(for) them a plea
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَن
ʹañ
that
قَالُواْ
q̣aaloo
they say
وَٱللَّهِ
wallaahi
By Allah
رَبِّنَا
Rabbina
our Lord
مَا
maa-
not
كُنَّا
kunnaa
we were
مُشۡرِكِينَ
mushrikeen.
those who associated others (with Allah)
٢٣
6:24
ٱنظُرۡ
ʹUñz̤̣ur
Look
كَيۡفَ
kayfa
how
كَذَبُواْ
kaẓaboo
they lied
عَلَىٰٓ
ʻalaaa
against
أَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
ʹañfusihim
themselves
وَضَلَّ
wa-ḍalla
And lost
عَنۡهُم
ʻanhum
from them
مَّا
maa
what
كَانُواْ
kaanoo
they used to
يَفۡتَرُونَ
yaftaroon.
invent
٢٤
6:25
وَمِنۡهُم
Wa-minhum
And among them
مَّن
mañy
(are those) who
يَسۡتَمِعُ
yastamiʻu
listen
إِلَيۡكَۖ
ʹilayk;
to you
وَجَعَلۡنَا
wa-jaʻalnaa
but We have placed
عَلَىٰ
ʻalaa
over
قُلُوبِهِمۡ
q̣uloobihim
their hearts
أَكِنَّةً
ʹakinnatan
coverings
أَن
ʹañy
lest
يَفۡقَهُوهُ
yafq̣ahoohu
they understand it
وَفِيٓ
wa-feee
and in
ءَاذَانِهِمۡ
ʹaaẓaanihim
their ears
وَقۡرٗاۚ
waq̣raa;
deafness
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
And if
يَرَوۡاْ
yaraw
they see
كُلَّ
kulla
every
ءَايَةٖ
ʹAayatil
sign
لَّا
laa
not
يُؤۡمِنُواْ
yuʹminoo
will they believe
بِهَاۖ
bihaa:
in it
حَتَّىٰٓ
ḥattaaa
Until
إِذَا
ʹiẓaa
when
جَآءُوكَ
jaaaʹooka
they come to you
يُجَٰدِلُونَكَ
yujaadiloonaka
and argue with you
يَقُولُ
yaq̣oolul
say
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْ
kafarooo
disbelieved
إِنۡ
ʹin
Not
هَٰذَآ
haaẓaaa
(is) this
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
but
أَسَٰطِيرُ
ʹasaaṭeerul
(the) tales
ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
ʹawwaleen.
(of) the former (people)
٢٥
6:26
وَهُمۡ
Wa-hum
And they
يَنۡهَوۡنَ
yan-hawna
forbid (others)
عَنۡهُ
ʻanhu
from it
وَيَنۡـَٔوۡنَ
wa-yanʹawna
and they keep away
عَنۡهُۖ
ʻanh:
from it
وَإِن
wa-ʹiñy
And not
يُهۡلِكُونَ
yuh-likoona
they destroy
إِلَّآ
ʹillaaa
except
أَنفُسَهُمۡ
ʹañfusahum
themselves
وَمَا
wa-maa
and not
يَشۡعُرُونَ
yashʻuroon.
they perceive
٢٦
6:27
وَلَوۡ
Wa-law
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
taraaa
you (could) see
إِذۡ
ʹiẓ
when
وُقِفُواْ
wuq̣ifoo
they are made to stand
عَلَى
ʻalan
by
ٱلنَّارِ
Naari
the Fire
فَقَالُواْ
faq̣aaloo
then they (will) say
يَٰلَيۡتَنَا
yaa-laytanaa
Oh! Would that we
نُرَدُّ
nuraddu
were sent back
وَلَا
wa-laa
and not
نُكَذِّبَ
nukaẓẓiba
we would deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
biʹAayaati
(the) Signs
رَبِّنَا
Rabbinaa
(of) our Lord
وَنَكُونَ
wa-nakoona
and we would be
مِنَ
minal
among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Muʹmineen!
the believers
