5:65
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّ
anna
that
أَهۡلَ
ahla
(the) People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
(had) believed
وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ
wa-ittaqaw
and feared (Allah)
لَكَفَّرۡنَا
lakaffarna
surely We (would have) removed
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
from them
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ
sayyiatihim
their evil (deeds)
وَلَأَدۡخَلۡنَٰهُمۡ
wala-adkhalnahum
and surely We (would have) admitted them
جَنَّٰتِ
jannati
(to) Gardens
ٱلنَّعِيمِ
al-na'imi
(of) Bliss
٦٥
5:66
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمۡ
annahum
that they
أَقَامُواْ
aqamu
had stood firmly
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
al-tawrata
(by) the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
wal-injila
and the Injeel
وَمَآ
wama
and what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
was revealed
إِلَيۡهِم
ilayhim
to them
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
لَأَكَلُواْ
la-akalu
surely they (would have) eaten
مِن
min
from
فَوۡقِهِمۡ
fawqihim
above them
وَمِن
wamin
and from
تَحۡتِ
tahti
beneath
أَرۡجُلِهِمۚ
arjulihim
their feet
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
Among them
أُمَّةٞ
ummatun
(is) a community
مُّقۡتَصِدَةٞۖ
muq'tasidatun
moderate
وَكَثِيرٞ
wakathirun
but many
مِّنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
of them
سَآءَ
saa
evil
مَا
ma
(is) what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
they do
٦٦
5:67
۞يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلرَّسُولُ
al-rasulu
Messenger
بَلِّغۡ
balligh
Convey
مَآ
ma
what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَۖ
rabbika
your Lord
وَإِن
wa-in
and if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
تَفۡعَلۡ
taf 'al
you do
فَمَا
fama
then not
بَلَّغۡتَ
ballaghta
you (have) conveyed
رِسَالَتَهُۥۚ
risalatahu
His Message
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
يَعۡصِمُكَ
ya'simuka
will protect you
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلنَّاسِۗ
al-nasi
the people
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يَهۡدِي
yahdi
guide
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ
al-qawma
the people
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelieving
٦٧
5:68
قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَٰٓأَهۡلَ
yaahla
O People
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
لَسۡتُمۡ
lastum
You are not
عَلَىٰ
ala
on
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
anything
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
تُقِيمُواْ
tuqimu
you stand firmly
ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةَ
al-tawrata
(by) the Taurat
وَٱلۡإِنجِيلَ
wal-injila
and the Injeel
وَمَآ
wama
and what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكُم
ilaykum
to you
مِّن
min
from
رَّبِّكُمۡۗ
rabbikum
your Lord
وَلَيَزِيدَنَّ
walayazidanna
And surely increase
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
مِّنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
مَّآ
ma
what
أُنزِلَ
unzila
has been revealed
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
طُغۡيَٰنٗا
tugh'yanan
(in) rebellion
وَكُفۡرٗاۖ
wakuf'ran
and disbelief
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَأۡسَ
tasa
grieve
عَلَى
ala
over
ٱلۡقَوۡمِ
al-qawmi
the people
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelieving
٦٨
5:69
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believed
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhina
and those who
هَادُواْ
hadu
became Jews
وَٱلصَّٰبِـُٔونَ
wal-sabiuna
and the Sabians
وَٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ
wal-nasara
and the Christians
مَنۡ
man
whoever
ءَامَنَ
amana
believed
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ
wal-yawmi
and the Day
ٱلۡأٓخِرِ
al-akhiri
the Last
وَعَمِلَ
wa'amila
and did
صَٰلِحٗا
salihan
good deeds
فَلَا
fala
then no
خَوۡفٌ
khawfun
fear
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
on them
وَلَا
wala
and not
هُمۡ
hum
they
يَحۡزَنُونَ
yahzanuna
will grieve
٦٩
5:70
لَقَدۡ
laqad
Certainly
أَخَذۡنَا
akhadhna
We took
مِيثَٰقَ
mithaqa
a Covenant
بَنِيٓ
bani
(from the) Children
إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'raila
(of) Israel
وَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ
wa-arsalna
and We sent
إِلَيۡهِمۡ
ilayhim
to them
رُسُلٗاۖ
rusulan
Messengers
كُلَّمَا
kullama
Whenever
جَآءَهُمۡ
jaahum
came to them
رَسُولُۢ
rasulun
any Messenger
بِمَا
bima
with what
لَا
la
not
تَهۡوَىٰٓ
tahwa
desired
أَنفُسُهُمۡ
anfusuhum
their souls
فَرِيقٗا
fariqan
a group
كَذَّبُواْ
kadhabu
they denied
وَفَرِيقٗا
wafariqan
and a group
يَقۡتُلُونَ
yaqtuluna
they kill
٧٠
