قَتَلَ
qatala
kills
نَفۡسَۢا
nafsan
a soul
بِغَيۡرِ
bighayri
other than
نَفۡسٍ
nafsin
(for) a soul
أَوۡ
aw
or
فَسَادٖ
fasadin
(for) spreading corruption
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَكَأَنَّمَا
faka-annama
then (it) is as if
قَتَلَ
qatala
he has killed
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
mankind
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
وَمَنۡ
waman
and whoever
أَحۡيَاهَا
ahyaha
saves it
فَكَأَنَّمَآ
faka-annama
then (it) is as if
أَحۡيَا
ahya
he has saved
ٱلنَّاسَ
al-nasa
mankind
جَمِيعٗاۚ
jami'an
all
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And surely
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaathum
came to them
رُسُلُنَا
rusuluna
Our Messengers
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-bayinati
with clear Signs
ثُمَّ
thumma
yet
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
مِّنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
بَعۡدَ
ba'da
after
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
لَمُسۡرِفُونَ
lamus'rifuna
(are) surely those who commit excesses
٣٢
5:33
إِنَّمَا
innama
Only
جَزَٰٓؤُاْ
jazau
(the) recompense
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
(for) those who
يُحَارِبُونَ
yuharibuna
wage war
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(against) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasulahu
and His Messenger
وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ
wayas'awna
and strive
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَسَادًا
fasadan
spreading corruption
أَن
an
(is) that
يُقَتَّلُوٓاْ
yuqattalu
they be killed
أَوۡ
aw
or
يُصَلَّبُوٓاْ
yusallabu
they be crucified
أَوۡ
aw
or
تُقَطَّعَ
tuqatta'a
be cut off
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
aydihim
their hands
وَأَرۡجُلُهُم
wa-arjuluhum
and their feet
مِّنۡ
min
of
خِلَٰفٍ
khilafin
opposite sides
أَوۡ
aw
or
يُنفَوۡاْ
yunfaw
they be exiled
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the land
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
لَهُمۡ
lahum
(is) for them
خِزۡيٞ
khiz'yun
disgrace
فِي
fi
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
al-dun'ya
the world
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
al-akhirati
the Hereafter
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٌ
azimun
great
٣٣
5:34
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
تَابُواْ
tabu
repent
مِن
min
from
قَبۡلِ
qabli
before
أَن
an
that
تَقۡدِرُواْ
taqdiru
you overpower
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
alayhim
[over] them
فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
fa-i'lamu
then know
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
ghafurun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
rahimun
Most Merciful
٣٤
5:35
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُواْ
amanu
believe
ٱتَّقُواْ
ittaqu
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
وَٱبۡتَغُوٓاْ
wa-ib'taghu
and seek
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
towards Him
ٱلۡوَسِيلَةَ
al-wasilata
the means
وَجَٰهِدُواْ
wajahidu
and strive hard
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِهِۦ
sabilihi
His way
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
la'allakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tuf'lihuna
succeed
٣٥
5:36
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieve
لَوۡ
law
if
أَنَّ
anna
that
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّا
ma
(is) what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
جَمِيعٗا
jami'an
all
وَمِثۡلَهُۥ
wamith'lahu
and the like of it
مَعَهُۥ
ma'ahu
with it
لِيَفۡتَدُواْ
liyaftadu
to ransom themselves
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
مِنۡ
min
from
عَذَابِ
adhabi
(the) punishment
يَوۡمِ
yawmi
(of the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) the Resurrection
مَا
ma
not
تُقُبِّلَ
tuqubbila
will be accepted
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
min'hum
from them
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
adhabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
alimun
painful
٣٦
