إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
ʹIsraaaʹeela
(of) Israel
أَنَّهُۥ
ʹannahoo
that he
مَن
mañ
who
قَتَلَ
q̣atala
kills
نَفۡسَۢا
nafsam
a soul
بِغَيۡرِ
big̣ayri
other than
نَفۡسٍ
nafsin
(for) a soul
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
فَسَادٖ
fasaadiñ
(for) spreading corruption
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
فَكَأَنَّمَا
fakaʹannamaa
then (it) is as if
قَتَلَ
q̣atalan
he has killed
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
mankind
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻaa:
all
وَمَنۡ
wa-man
and whoever
أَحۡيَاهَا
ʹaḥyaahaa
saves it
فَكَأَنَّمَآ
fakaʹannamaaa
then (it) is as if
أَحۡيَا
ʹaḥyan
he has saved
ٱلنَّاسَ
naasa
mankind
جَمِيعٗاۚ
jameeʻaa.
all
وَلَقَدۡ
Wa-laq̣ad
And surely
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
jaaaʹathum
came to them
رُسُلُنَا
rusulunaa
Our Messengers
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
bil-Bayyinaati
with clear Signs
ثُمَّ
s̤umma
yet
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
كَثِيرٗا
kas̤eeram
many
مِّنۡهُم
minhum̃
of them
بَعۡدَ
baʹda
after
ذَٰلِكَ
ẓaalika
that
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
لَمُسۡرِفُونَ
lamusrifoon.
(are) surely those who commit excesses
٣٢
5:33
إِنَّمَا
ʹInnamaa
Only
جَزَٰٓؤُاْ
jazaaaʹul
(the) recompense
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
(for) those who
يُحَارِبُونَ
yuḥaariboonal
wage war
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
(against) Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
wa-Rasoolahoo
and His Messenger
وَيَسۡعَوۡنَ
wa-yasʻawna
and strive
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
فَسَادًا
fasaadan
spreading corruption
أَن
ʹañy
(is) that
يُقَتَّلُوٓاْ
yuq̣attalooo
they be killed
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
يُصَلَّبُوٓاْ
yuṣallabooo
they be crucified
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
تُقَطَّعَ
tuq̣aṭṭaʻa
be cut off
أَيۡدِيهِمۡ
ʹaydeehim
their hands
وَأَرۡجُلُهُم
wa-ʹarjuluhum
and their feet
مِّنۡ
min
of
خِلَٰفٍ
khilaafin
opposite sides
أَوۡ
ʹaw
or
يُنفَوۡاْ
yuñfaw
they be exiled
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
ʹarḍ.
the land
ذَٰلِكَ
Ẓaalika
That
لَهُمۡ
lahum
(is) for them
خِزۡيٞ
khizyuñ
disgrace
فِي
fid
in
ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ
dunyaa
the world
وَلَهُمۡ
wa-lahum
and for them
فِي
fil
in
ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ
ʹAakhirati
the Hereafter
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٌ
ʻaz̤̣eem;
great
٣٣
5:34
إِلَّا
ʹlllal
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
تَابُواْ
taaboo
repent
مِن
miñ
from
قَبۡلِ
q̣abli
before
أَن
ʹañ
that
تَقۡدِرُواْ
taq̣diroo
you overpower
عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ
ʻalayhim:
[over] them
فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ
faʻlamooo
then know
أَنَّ
ʹannal
that
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
غَفُورٞ
G̣afoorur
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٞ
Raḥeem.
Most Merciful
٣٤
5:35
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
Yaaaʹayyuhal
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
who
ءَامَنُواْ
ʹaamanut
believe
ٱتَّقُواْ
taq̣ul
Fear
ٱللَّهَ
laaha
Allah
وَٱبۡتَغُوٓاْ
wabtag̣ooo
and seek
إِلَيۡهِ
ʹilayhil
towards Him
ٱلۡوَسِيلَةَ
Waseelata
the means
وَجَٰهِدُواْ
wa-jaahidoo
and strive hard
فِي
fee
in
سَبِيلِهِۦ
Sabeelihee
His way
لَعَلَّكُمۡ
laʻallakum
so that you may
تُفۡلِحُونَ
tufliḥoon.
succeed
٣٥
5:36
إِنَّ
ʹInnal
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
laẓeena
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaroo
disbelieve
لَوۡ
law
if
أَنَّ
ʹanna
that
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّا
maa
(is) what
فِي
fil
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
ʹarḍi
the earth
جَمِيعٗا
jameeʻañw
all
وَمِثۡلَهُۥ
wamis̤lahoo
and the like of it
مَعَهُۥ
maʻahoo
with it
لِيَفۡتَدُواْ
liyaftadoo
to ransom themselves
بِهِۦ
bihee
with it
مِنۡ
min
from
عَذَابِ
ʻaẓaabi
(the) punishment
يَوۡمِ
Yawmil
(of the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
Q̣iyaamati
(of) the Resurrection
مَا
maa-
not
تُقُبِّلَ
tuq̣ubbila
will be accepted
مِنۡهُمۡۖ
minhum.
from them
وَلَهُمۡ
Wa-lahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
ʻaẓaabun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٞ
ʹaleem.
painful
