One of the 60 subdivisions of the Quran (half a Juz)

31:22
۞وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُسۡلِمۡ
yus'lim
submits
وَجۡهَهُۥٓ
wajhahu
his face
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while he
مُحۡسِنٞ
muh'sinun
(is) a good-doer
فَقَدِ
faqadi
then indeed
ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ
is'tamsaka
he has grasped
بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ
bil-'ur'wati
the handhold
ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰۗ
al-wuth'qa
the most trustworthy
وَإِلَى
wa-ila
And to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
عَٰقِبَةُ
aqibatu
(is the) end
ٱلۡأُمُورِ
al-umuri
(of) the matters
٢٢
31:23
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
كَفَرَ
kafara
disbelieves
فَلَا
fala
let not
يَحۡزُنكَ
yahzunka
grieve you
كُفۡرُهُۥٓۚ
kuf'ruhu
his disbelief
إِلَيۡنَا
ilayna
To Us
مَرۡجِعُهُمۡ
marji'uhum
(is) their return
فَنُنَبِّئُهُم
fanunabbi-uhum
then We will inform them
بِمَا
bima
of what
عَمِلُوٓاْۚ
amilu
they did
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلِيمُۢ
alimun
(is) the All-Knower
بِذَاتِ
bidhati
of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ
al-suduri
(is in) the breasts
٢٣
31:24
نُمَتِّعُهُمۡ
numatti'uhum
We grant them enjoyment
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
(for) a little
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
نَضۡطَرُّهُمۡ
nadtarruhum
We will force them
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
عَذَابٍ
adhabin
a punishment
غَلِيظٖ
ghalizin
severe
٢٤
31:25
وَلَئِن
wala-in
And if
سَأَلۡتَهُم
sa-altahum
you ask them
مَّنۡ
man
Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
لَيَقُولُنَّ
layaqulunna
They will surely say
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah
قُلِ
quli
Say
ٱلۡحَمۡدُ
al-hamdu
All praises
لِلَّهِۚ
lillahi
(are) for Allah
بَلۡ
bal
But
أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ
aktharuhum
most of them
لَا
la
(do) not
يَعۡلَمُونَ
ya'lamuna
know
٢٥
31:26
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
To Allah (belongs)
مَا
ma
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
wal-ardi
and the earth
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلۡغَنِيُّ
al-ghaniyu
(is) Free of need
ٱلۡحَمِيدُ
al-hamidu
the Praiseworthy
٢٦
31:27
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
أَنَّمَا
annama
whatever
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مِن
min
of
شَجَرَةٍ
shajaratin
(the) trees
أَقۡلَٰمٞ
aqlamun
(were) pens
وَٱلۡبَحۡرُ
wal-bahru
and the sea
يَمُدُّهُۥ
yamudduhu
(to) add to it
مِنۢ
min
after it
بَعۡدِهِۦ
ba'dihi
after it
سَبۡعَةُ
sab'atu
seven
أَبۡحُرٖ
abhurin
seas
مَّا
ma
not
نَفِدَتۡ
nafidat
would be exhausted
كَلِمَٰتُ
kalimatu
(the) Words
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَزِيزٌ
azizun
(is) All-Mighty
حَكِيمٞ
hakimun
All-Wise

31:28
مَّا
ma
Not
خَلۡقُكُمۡ
khalqukum
(is) your creation
وَلَا
wala
and not
بَعۡثُكُمۡ
ba'thukum
your resurrection
إِلَّا
illa
but
كَنَفۡسٖ
kanafsin
as a soul
وَٰحِدَةٍۚ
wahidatin
single
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
سَمِيعُۢ
sami'un
(is) All-Hearer
بَصِيرٌ
basirun
All-Seer

أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
يُولِجُ
yuliju
causes to enter
ٱلَّيۡلَ
al-layla
the night
فِي
fi
into
ٱلنَّهَارِ
al-nahari
the day
وَيُولِجُ
wayuliju
and causes to enter
ٱلنَّهَارَ
al-nahara
the day
فِي
fi
into
ٱلَّيۡلِ
al-layli
the night
وَسَخَّرَ
wasakhara
and has subjected
ٱلشَّمۡسَ
al-shamsa
the sun
وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ
wal-qamara
and the moon
كُلّٞ
kullun
each
يَجۡرِيٓ
yajri
moving
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
for
أَجَلٖ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمّٗى
musamman
appointed
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٞ
khabirun
(is) All-Aware
٢٩
31:30
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
بِأَنَّ
bi-anna
(is) because
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) the Truth
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
مَا
ma
what
يَدۡعُونَ
yad'una
they call
مِن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِ
dunihi
besides Him
ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ
al-batilu
(is) [the] falsehood
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلۡعَلِيُّ
al-'aliyu
(is) the Most High
ٱلۡكَبِيرُ
al-kabiru
the Most Great
٣٠
31:31
أَلَمۡ
alam
Do not
تَرَ
tara
you see
أَنَّ
anna
that
ٱلۡفُلۡكَ
al-ful'ka
the ships
تَجۡرِي
tajri
sail
فِي
fi
through
ٱلۡبَحۡرِ
al-bahri
the sea
بِنِعۡمَتِ
bini'mati
by (the) Grace
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
لِيُرِيَكُم
liyuriyakum
that He may show you
مِّنۡ
min
of
ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓۚ
ayatihi
His Signs
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِي
fi
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
that
لَأٓيَٰتٖ
laayatin
surely (are) Signs
لِّكُلِّ
likulli
for everyone
صَبَّارٖ
sabbarin
(who is) patient
شَكُورٖ
shakurin
grateful
٣١
31:32
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
غَشِيَهُم
ghashiyahum
covers them
مَّوۡجٞ
mawjun
a wave
كَٱلظُّلَلِ
kal-zulali
like canopies
دَعَوُاْ
da'awu
they call
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
مُخۡلِصِينَ
mukh'lisina
(being) sincere
لَهُ
lahu
to Him
ٱلدِّينَ
al-dina
(in) religion
فَلَمَّا
falamma
But when
نَجَّىٰهُمۡ
najjahum
He delivers them
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡبَرِّ
al-bari
the land
فَمِنۡهُم
famin'hum
then among them
مُّقۡتَصِدٞۚ
muq'tasidun
(some are) moderate
وَمَا
wama
And not
يَجۡحَدُ
yajhadu
deny
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
biayatina
Our Signs
إِلَّا
illa
except
كُلُّ
kullu
every
خَتَّارٖ
khattarin
traitor
كَفُورٖ
kafurin
ungrateful
٣٢
31:33
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O
ٱلنَّاسُ
al-nasu
mankind
ٱتَّقُواْ
ittaqu
Fear
رَبَّكُمۡ
rabbakum
your Lord
وَٱخۡشَوۡاْ
wa-ikh'shaw
and fear
يَوۡمٗا
yawman
a Day
لَّا
la
not
يَجۡزِي
yajzi
can avail
وَالِدٌ
walidun
a father
عَن
an
[for]
وَلَدِهِۦ
waladihi
his son
وَلَا
wala
and not
مَوۡلُودٌ
mawludun
a son
هُوَ
huwa
he
جَازٍ
jazin
(can) avail
عَن
an
[for]
وَالِدِهِۦ
walidihi
his father
شَيۡـًٔاۚ
shayan
anything
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
وَعۡدَ
wa'da
(the) Promise
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
حَقّٞۖ
haqqun
(is) True
فَلَا
fala
so let not deceive you
تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ
taghurrannakumu
so let not deceive you
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ
al-hayatu
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
وَلَا
wala
and let not deceive you
يَغُرَّنَّكُم
yaghurrannakum
and let not deceive you
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
about Allah
ٱلۡغَرُورُ
al-gharuru
the deceiver
٣٣
31:34
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عِندَهُۥ
indahu
with Him
عِلۡمُ
il'mu
(is the) knowledge
ٱلسَّاعَةِ
al-sa'ati
(of) the Hour
وَيُنَزِّلُ
wayunazzilu
and He sends down
ٱلۡغَيۡثَ
al-ghaytha
the rain
وَيَعۡلَمُ
waya'lamu
and knows
مَا
ma
what
فِي
fi
(is) in
ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِۖ
al-arhami
the wombs
وَمَا
wama
And not
تَدۡرِي
tadri
knows
نَفۡسٞ
nafsun
any soul
مَّاذَا
madha
what
تَكۡسِبُ
taksibu
it will earn
غَدٗاۖ
ghadan
tomorrow
وَمَا
wama
and not
تَدۡرِي
tadri
knows
نَفۡسُۢ
nafsun
any soul
بِأَيِّ
bi-ayyi
in what
أَرۡضٖ
ardin
land
تَمُوتُۚ
tamutu
it will die
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
عَلِيمٌ
alimun
(is) All-Knower
خَبِيرُۢ
khabirun
All-Aware

الٓمٓ
alif-lam-meem
Alif Lam Meem

32:2
تَنزِيلُ
tanzilu
(The) revelation
ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ
al-kitabi
(of) the Book
لَا
la
(there is) no
رَيۡبَ
rayba
doubt
فِيهِ
fihi
about it
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّ
rabbi
(the) Lord
ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
al-'alamina
(of) the worlds
٢
32:3
أَمۡ
am
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaquluna
(do) they say
ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُۚ
if'tarahu
He invented it
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
it
ٱلۡحَقُّ
al-haqu
(is) the truth
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
لِتُنذِرَ
litundhira
that you may warn
قَوۡمٗا
qawman
a people
مَّآ
ma
not
أَتَىٰهُم
atahum
has come to them
مِّن
min
any
نَّذِيرٖ
nadhirin
warner
مِّن
min
before you
قَبۡلِكَ
qablika
before you
لَعَلَّهُمۡ
la'allahum
so that they may
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtaduna
be guided
٣
32:4
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
al-samawati
the heavens
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ
wal-arda
and the earth
وَمَا
wama
and whatever
بَيۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
(is) between them
فِي
fi
in
سِتَّةِ
sittati
six
أَيَّامٖ
ayyamin
periods
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
ٱسۡتَوَىٰ
is'tawa
established Himself
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡعَرۡشِۖ
al-'arshi
the Throne
مَا
ma
Not
لَكُم
lakum
for you
مِّن
min
besides Him
دُونِهِۦ
dunihi
besides Him
مِن
min
any
وَلِيّٖ
waliyyin
protector
وَلَا
wala
and not
شَفِيعٍۚ
shafi'in
any intercessor
أَفَلَا
afala
Then will not
تَتَذَكَّرُونَ
tatadhakkaruna
you take heed
٤
32:5
يُدَبِّرُ
yudabbiru
He regulates
ٱلۡأَمۡرَ
al-amra
the affair
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
al-samai
the heaven
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَعۡرُجُ
ya'ruju
it will ascend
إِلَيۡهِ
ilayhi
to Him
فِي
fi
in
يَوۡمٖ
yawmin
a Day
كَانَ
kana
(the) measure of which is
مِقۡدَارُهُۥٓ
miq'daruhu
(the) measure of which is
أَلۡفَ
alfa
a thousand
سَنَةٖ
sanatin
years
مِّمَّا
mimma
of what
تَعُدُّونَ
ta'udduna
you count
٥
32:6
ذَٰلِكَ
dhalika
That
عَٰلِمُ
alimu
(is the) Knower
ٱلۡغَيۡبِ
al-ghaybi
(of) the hidden
وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
wal-shahadati
and the witnessed
ٱلۡعَزِيزُ
al-'azizu
the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
al-rahimu
the Most Merciful
٦
32:7
ٱلَّذِيٓ
alladhi
The One Who
أَحۡسَنَ
ahsana
made good
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَيۡءٍ
shayin
thing
خَلَقَهُۥۖ
khalaqahu
He created
وَبَدَأَ
wabada-a
and He began
خَلۡقَ
khalqa
(the) creation
ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ
al-insani
(of) man
مِن
min
from
طِينٖ
tinin
clay
٧
32:8
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
He made
نَسۡلَهُۥ
naslahu
his progeny
مِن
min
from
سُلَٰلَةٖ
sulalatin
an extract
مِّن
min
of
مَّآءٖ
main
water
مَّهِينٖ
mahinin
despised
٨
32:9
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
سَوَّىٰهُ
sawwahu
He fashioned him
وَنَفَخَ
wanafakha
and breathed
فِيهِ
fihi
into him
مِن
min
from
رُّوحِهِۦۖ
ruhihi
His spirit
وَجَعَلَ
waja'ala
and made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلسَّمۡعَ
al-sam'a
the hearing
وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرَ
wal-absara
and the sight
وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ
wal-afidata
and feelings
قَلِيلٗا
qalilan
little
مَّا
ma
[what]
تَشۡكُرُونَ
tashkuruna
thanks you give
٩
32:10
وَقَالُوٓاْ
waqalu
And they say
أَءِذَا
a-idha
Is (it) when
ضَلَلۡنَا
dalalna
we are lost
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
أَءِنَّا
a-inna
will we
لَفِي
lafi
certainly be in
خَلۡقٖ
khalqin
a creation
جَدِيدِۭۚ
jadidin
new
بَلۡ
bal
Nay
هُم
hum
they
بِلِقَآءِ
biliqai
in (the) meeting
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
(of) their Lord
كَٰفِرُونَ
kafiruna
(are) disbelievers

32:11
۞قُلۡ
qul
Say
يَتَوَفَّىٰكُم
yatawaffakum
Will take your soul
مَّلَكُ
malaku
(the) Angel
ٱلۡمَوۡتِ
al-mawti
(of) the death
ٱلَّذِي
alladhi
the one who
وُكِّلَ
wukkila
has been put in charge
بِكُمۡ
bikum
of you
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
إِلَىٰ
ila
to
رَبِّكُمۡ
rabbikum
your Lord
تُرۡجَعُونَ
tur'ja'una
you will be returned

وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
tara
you (could) see
إِذِ
idhi
when
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
al-muj'rimuna
the criminals
نَاكِسُواْ
nakisu
(will) hang
رُءُوسِهِمۡ
ruusihim
their heads
عِندَ
inda
before
رَبِّهِمۡ
rabbihim
their Lord
رَبَّنَآ
rabbana
Our Lord
أَبۡصَرۡنَا
absarna
we have seen
وَسَمِعۡنَا
wasami'na
and we have heard
فَٱرۡجِعۡنَا
fa-ir'ji'na
so return us
نَعۡمَلۡ
na'mal
we will do
صَٰلِحًا
salihan
righteous (deeds)
إِنَّا
inna
Indeed we
مُوقِنُونَ
muqinuna
(are now) certain
