21:1

ٱقۡتَرَبَ

iq'taraba

(Has) approached

لِلنَّاسِ

lilnnasi

for [the] mankind

حِسَابُهُمۡ

hisabuhum

their account

وَهُمۡ

wahum

while they

فِي

(are) in

غَفۡلَةٖ

ghaflatin

heedlessness

مُّعۡرِضُونَ

mu'riduna

turning away

21:2

مَا

Not

يَأۡتِيهِم

yatihim

comes to them

مِّن

min

ذِكۡرٖ

dhik'rin

a Reminder

مِّن

min

from

رَّبِّهِم

rabbihim

their Lord

مُّحۡدَثٍ

muh'dathin

anew

إِلَّا

illa

except

ٱسۡتَمَعُوهُ

is'tama'uhu

they listen to it

وَهُمۡ

wahum

while they

يَلۡعَبُونَ

yal'abuna

(are at) play

21:3

لَاهِيَةٗ

lahiyatan

Distracted

قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ

qulubuhum

their hearts

وَأَسَرُّواْ

wa-asarru

And they conceal

ٱلنَّجۡوَى

al-najwa

the private conversation

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

ظَلَمُواْ

zalamu

[they] wronged

هَلۡ

hal

هَٰذَآ

hadha

this

إِلَّا

illa

except

بَشَرٞ

basharun

a human being

مِّثۡلُكُمۡۖ

mith'lukum

like you

أَفَتَأۡتُونَ

afatatuna

So would you approach

ٱلسِّحۡرَ

al-sih'ra

the magic

وَأَنتُمۡ

wa-antum

while you

تُبۡصِرُونَ

tub'siruna

see (it)

21:4

قَالَ

qala

He said

رَبِّي

rabbi

My Lord

يَعۡلَمُ

ya'lamu

knows

ٱلۡقَوۡلَ

al-qawla

the word

فِي

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

al-samai

the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ

wal-ardi

and the earth

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلسَّمِيعُ

al-sami'u

(is) the All-Hearer

ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

al-'alimu

the All-Knower

21:5

بَلۡ

bal

Nay

قَالُوٓاْ

qalu

they say

أَضۡغَٰثُ

adghathu

Muddled

أَحۡلَٰمِۭ

ahlamin

dreams

بَلِ

bali

nay

ٱفۡتَرَىٰهُ

if'tarahu

he (has) invented it

بَلۡ

bal

nay

هُوَ

huwa

شَاعِرٞ

sha'irun

(is) a poet

فَلۡيَأۡتِنَا

falyatina

So let him bring us

بِـَٔايَةٖ

biayatin

a sign

كَمَآ

kama

like what

أُرۡسِلَ

ur'sila

was sent

ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

al-awaluna

(to) the former

21:6

مَآ

Not

ءَامَنَتۡ

amanat

believed

قَبۡلَهُم

qablahum

before them

مِّن

min

any

قَرۡيَةٍ

qaryatin

town

أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهَآۖ

ahlaknaha

which We destroyed

أَفَهُمۡ

afahum

so will they

يُؤۡمِنُونَ

yu'minuna

believe

21:7

وَمَآ

wama

And not

أَرۡسَلۡنَا

arsalna

We sent

قَبۡلَكَ

qablaka

before you

إِلَّا

illa

except

رِجَالٗا

rijalan

men

نُّوحِيٓ

nuhi

We revealed

إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ

ilayhim

to them

فَسۡـَٔلُوٓاْ

fasalu

So ask

أَهۡلَ

ahla

(the) people

ٱلذِّكۡرِ

al-dhik'ri

(of) the Reminder

إِن

كُنتُمۡ

kuntum

you

لَا

(do) not

تَعۡلَمُونَ

ta'lamuna

know

21:8

وَمَا

wama

And not

جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ

ja'alnahum

We made them

جَسَدٗا

jasadan

bodies

لَّا

not

يَأۡكُلُونَ

yakuluna

eating

ٱلطَّعَامَ

al-ta'ama

the food

وَمَا

wama

and not

كَانُواْ

kanu

they were

خَٰلِدِينَ

khalidina

immortals

21:9

ثُمَّ

thumma

Then

صَدَقۡنَٰهُمُ

sadaqnahumu

We fulfilled (for) them

ٱلۡوَعۡدَ

al-wa'da

the promise

فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُمۡ

fa-anjaynahum

and We saved them

وَمَن

waman

and whom

نَّشَآءُ

nashau

We willed

وَأَهۡلَكۡنَا

wa-ahlakna

and We destroyed

ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

al-mus'rifina

the transgressors

21:10

لَقَدۡ

laqad

Indeed

أَنزَلۡنَآ

anzalna

We (have) sent down

إِلَيۡكُمۡ

ilaykum

to you

كِتَٰبٗا

kitaban

a Book

فِيهِ

fihi

in it

ذِكۡرُكُمۡۚ

dhik'rukum

(is) your mention

أَفَلَا

afala

Then will not

تَعۡقِلُونَ

ta'qiluna

you use reason

21:11

وَكَمۡ

wakam

And how many

قَصَمۡنَا

qasamna

We (have) shattered

مِن

min

قَرۡيَةٖ

qaryatin

a town

كَانَتۡ

kanat

(that) was

ظَالِمَةٗ

zalimatan

unjust

وَأَنشَأۡنَا

wa-anshana

and We produced

بَعۡدَهَا

ba'daha

after them

قَوۡمًا

qawman

another people

ءَاخَرِينَ

akharina

another people

١١

21:12

فَلَمَّآ

falamma

Then when

أَحَسُّواْ

ahassu

they perceived

بَأۡسَنَآ

basana

Our torment

إِذَا

idha

behold

هُم

hum

they

مِّنۡهَا

min'ha

from it

يَرۡكُضُونَ

yarkuduna

were fleeing

١٢

21:13

لَا

Flee not

تَرۡكُضُواْ

tarkudu

Flee not

وَٱرۡجِعُوٓاْ

wa-ir'ji'u

but return

إِلَىٰ

ila

مَآ

what

أُتۡرِفۡتُمۡ

ut'rif'tum

you were given luxury

فِيهِ

fihi

in it

وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمۡ

wamasakinikum

and to your homes

لَعَلَّكُمۡ

la'allakum

so that you may

تُسۡـَٔلُونَ

tus'aluna

be questioned

١٣

21:14

قَالُواْ

qalu

They said

يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ

yawaylana

O woe to us

إِنَّا

inna

Indeed [we]

كُنَّا

kunna

we were

ظَٰلِمِينَ

zalimina

wrongdoers

١٤

21:15

فَمَا

fama

Then not

زَالَت

zalat

ceased

تِّلۡكَ

til'ka

[this]

دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ

da'wahum

their cry

حَتَّىٰ

hatta

until

جَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ

ja'alnahum

We made them

حَصِيدًا

hasidan

reaped

خَٰمِدِينَ

khamidina

extinct

١٥

21:16

وَمَا

wama

And not

خَلَقۡنَا

khalaqna

We created

ٱلسَّمَآءَ

al-samaa

the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ

wal-arda

and the earth

وَمَا

wama

and what

بَيۡنَهُمَا

baynahuma

(is) between them

لَٰعِبِينَ

la'ibina

(for) playing

١٦

21:17

لَوۡ

law

أَرَدۡنَآ

aradna

We intended

أَن

that

نَّتَّخِذَ

nattakhidha

We take

لَهۡوٗا

lahwan

a pastime

لَّٱتَّخَذۡنَٰهُ

la-ittakhadhnahu

surely We (could have) taken it

مِن

min

from

لَّدُنَّآ

ladunna

إِن

كُنَّا

kunna

We were

فَٰعِلِينَ

fa'ilina

doers

١٧

21:18

بَلۡ

bal

Nay

نَقۡذِفُ

naqdhifu

We hurl

بِٱلۡحَقِّ

bil-haqi

the truth

عَلَى

ala

against

ٱلۡبَٰطِلِ

al-batili

[the] falsehood

فَيَدۡمَغُهُۥ

fayadmaghuhu

and it breaks its head

فَإِذَا

fa-idha

behold

هُوَ

huwa

it (is)

زَاهِقٞۚ

zahiqun

vanishing

وَلَكُمُ

walakumu

And for you

ٱلۡوَيۡلُ

al-waylu

(is) destruction

مِمَّا

mimma

for what

تَصِفُونَ

tasifuna

you ascribe

١٨

21:19

وَلَهُۥ

walahu

And to Him (belongs)

مَن

man

whoever

فِي

(is) in

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ

wal-ardi

and the earth

وَمَنۡ

waman

And (those) who

عِندَهُۥ

indahu

(are) near Him

لَا

not

يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ

yastakbiruna

they are arrogant

عَنۡ

عِبَادَتِهِۦ

ibadatihi

worship Him

وَلَا

wala

and not

يَسۡتَحۡسِرُونَ

yastahsiruna

they tire

١٩

21:20

يُسَبِّحُونَ

yusabbihuna

They glorify (Him)

ٱلَّيۡلَ

al-layla

[the] night

وَٱلنَّهَارَ

wal-nahara

and [the] day

لَا

not

يَفۡتُرُونَ

yafturuna

they slacken

٢٠

21:21

أَمِ

ami

ٱتَّخَذُوٓاْ

ittakhadhu

(have) they taken

ءَالِهَةٗ

alihatan

gods

مِّنَ

mina

from

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ

al-ardi

the earth

هُمۡ

hum

they

يُنشِرُونَ

yunshiruna

raise (the dead)

٢١

21:22

لَوۡ

law

كَانَ

kana

(there) were

فِيهِمَآ

fihima

in both of them

ءَالِهَةٌ

alihatun

gods

إِلَّا

illa

besides

ٱللَّهُ

al-lahu

Allah

لَفَسَدَتَاۚ

lafasadata

surely they (would) have been ruined

فَسُبۡحَٰنَ

fasub'hana

So glorified

ٱللَّهِ

al-lahi

(is) Allah

رَبِّ

rabbi

Lord

ٱلۡعَرۡشِ

al-'arshi

(of) the Throne

عَمَّا

amma

(above) what

يَصِفُونَ

yasifuna

they attribute

٢٢

21:23

لَا

Not

يُسۡـَٔلُ

yus'alu

He (can) be questioned

عَمَّا

amma

about what

يَفۡعَلُ

yaf 'alu

He does

وَهُمۡ

wahum

but they

يُسۡـَٔلُونَ

yus'aluna

will be questioned

٢٣

21:24

أَمِ

ami

ٱتَّخَذُواْ

ittakhadhu

(have) they taken

مِن

min

besides Him

دُونِهِۦٓ

dunihi

besides Him

ءَالِهَةٗۖ

alihatan

gods

قُلۡ

qul

Say

هَاتُواْ

hatu

Bring

بُرۡهَٰنَكُمۡۖ

bur'hanakum

your proof

هَٰذَا

hadha

This

ذِكۡرُ

dhik'ru

(is) a Reminder

مَن

man

(for those) who

مَّعِيَ

ma'iya

(are) with me

وَذِكۡرُ

wadhik'ru

and a Reminder

مَن

man

(for those) who

قَبۡلِيۚ

qabli

(were) before me

بَلۡ

bal

But

أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ

aktharuhum

most of them

لَا

(do) not

يَعۡلَمُونَ

ya'lamuna

know

ٱلۡحَقَّۖ

al-haqa

the truth

فَهُم

fahum

so they

مُّعۡرِضُونَ

mu'riduna

(are) averse

٢٤

21:25

وَمَآ

wama

And not

أَرۡسَلۡنَا

arsalna

We sent

مِن

min

before you

قَبۡلِكَ

qablika

before you

مِن

min

any

رَّسُولٍ

rasulin

Messenger

إِلَّا

illa

but

نُوحِيٓ

nuhi

We reveal(ed)

إِلَيۡهِ

ilayhi

to him

أَنَّهُۥ

annahu

that [He]

لَآ

(There is) no

إِلَٰهَ

ilaha

god

إِلَّآ

illa

except

أَنَا۠

ana

فَٱعۡبُدُونِ

fa-u'buduni

so worship Me

٢٥

21:26

وَقَالُواْ

waqalu

And they say

ٱتَّخَذَ

ittakhadha

Has taken

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ

al-rahmanu

the Most Gracious

وَلَدٗاۗ

waladan

a son

سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۚ

sub'hanahu

Glorified is He

بَلۡ

bal

Nay

عِبَادٞ

ibadun

(they are) slaves

مُّكۡرَمُونَ

muk'ramuna

honored

٢٦

21:27

لَا

Not

يَسۡبِقُونَهُۥ

yasbiqunahu

they (can) precede Him

بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ

bil-qawli

in word

وَهُم

wahum

and they

بِأَمۡرِهِۦ

bi-amrihi

by His command

يَعۡمَلُونَ

ya'maluna

act

٢٧

21:28

يَعۡلَمُ

ya'lamu

He knows

مَا

what

بَيۡنَ

bayna

(is) before them

أَيۡدِيهِمۡ

aydihim

(is) before them

وَمَا

wama

and what

خَلۡفَهُمۡ

khalfahum

(is) behind them

وَلَا

wala

and not

يَشۡفَعُونَ

yashfa'una

they (can) intercede

إِلَّا

illa

except

لِمَنِ

limani

for whom

ٱرۡتَضَىٰ

ir'tada

He approves

وَهُم

wahum

And they

مِّنۡ

min

from

خَشۡيَتِهِۦ

khashyatihi

fear of Him

مُشۡفِقُونَ

mush'fiquna

stand in awe

٢٨

21:29

۞وَمَن

waman

And whoever

يَقُلۡ

yaqul

says

مِنۡهُمۡ

min'hum

of them

إِنِّيٓ

inni

Indeed I am

إِلَٰهٞ

ilahun

a god

مِّن

min

besides Him

دُونِهِۦ

dunihi

besides Him

فَذَٰلِكَ

fadhalika

Then that

نَجۡزِيهِ

najzihi

We will recompense

جَهَنَّمَۚ

jahannama

(with) Hell

كَذَٰلِكَ

kadhalika

Thus

نَجۡزِي

najzi

We recompense

ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ

al-zalimina

the wrongdoers

٢٩

21:30

أَوَلَمۡ

awalam

Do not

يَرَ

yara

see

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

كَفَرُوٓاْ

kafaru

disbelieved

أَنَّ

anna

that

ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ

al-samawati

the heavens

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ

wal-arda

and the earth

كَانَتَا

kanata

were

رَتۡقٗا

ratqan

a joined entity

فَفَتَقۡنَٰهُمَاۖ

fafataqnahuma

then We parted them

وَجَعَلۡنَا

waja'alna

and We made

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلۡمَآءِ

al-mai

[the] water

كُلَّ

kulla

every

شَيۡءٍ

shayin

living thing

حَيٍّۚ

hayyin

living thing

أَفَلَا

afala

Then will not

يُؤۡمِنُونَ

yu'minuna

they believe

٣٠

21:31

وَجَعَلۡنَا

waja'alna

And We (have) placed

فِي

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ

al-ardi

the earth

رَوَٰسِيَ

rawasiya

firmly set mountains

أَن

lest

تَمِيدَ

tamida

it (should) shake

بِهِمۡ

bihim

with them

وَجَعَلۡنَا

waja'alna

and We made

فِيهَا

fiha

therein

فِجَاجٗا

fijajan

broad passes

سُبُلٗا

subulan

(as) ways

لَّعَلَّهُمۡ

la'allahum

so that they may

يَهۡتَدُونَ

yahtaduna

(be) guided

٣١

21:32

وَجَعَلۡنَا

waja'alna

And We made

ٱلسَّمَآءَ

al-samaa

the sky

سَقۡفٗا

saqfan

a roof

مَّحۡفُوظٗاۖ

mahfuzan

protected

وَهُمۡ

wahum

But they

عَنۡ

from

ءَايَٰتِهَا

ayatiha

its Signs

مُعۡرِضُونَ

mu'riduna

turn away

٣٢

21:33

وَهُوَ

wahuwa

And He

ٱلَّذِي

alladhi

(is) the One Who

خَلَقَ

khalaqa

created

ٱلَّيۡلَ

al-layla

the night

وَٱلنَّهَارَ

wal-nahara

and the day

وَٱلشَّمۡسَ

wal-shamsa

and the sun

وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ

wal-qamara

and the moon

كُلّٞ

kullun

each

فِي

فَلَكٖ

falakin

an orbit

يَسۡبَحُونَ

yasbahuna

floating

٣٣

21:34

وَمَا

wama

And not

جَعَلۡنَا

ja'alna

We made

لِبَشَرٖ

libasharin

for any man

مِّن

min

before you

قَبۡلِكَ

qablika

before you

ٱلۡخُلۡدَۖ

al-khul'da

[the] immortality

أَفَإِيْن

afa-in

so if

مِّتَّ

mitta

you die

فَهُمُ

fahumu

then (would) they

ٱلۡخَٰلِدُونَ

al-khaliduna

live forever

٣٤

21:35

كُلُّ

kullu

Every

نَفۡسٖ

nafsin

soul

ذَآئِقَةُ

dhaiqatu

(will) taste

ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ

al-mawti

[the] death

وَنَبۡلُوكُم

wanablukum

And We test you

بِٱلشَّرِّ

bil-shari

with [the] bad

وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ

wal-khayri

and [the] good

فِتۡنَةٗۖ

fit'natan

(as) a trial

وَإِلَيۡنَا

wa-ilayna

and to Us

تُرۡجَعُونَ

tur'ja'una

you will be returned

21:36

وَإِذَا

wa-idha

And when

رَءَاكَ

raaka

they see you

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

كَفَرُوٓاْ

kafaru

disbelieve

إِن

not

يَتَّخِذُونَكَ

yattakhidhunaka

they take you

إِلَّا

illa

except

هُزُوًا

huzuwan

(in) ridicule

أَهَٰذَا

ahadha

Is this

ٱلَّذِي

alladhi

the one who

يَذۡكُرُ

yadhkuru

mentions

ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ

alihatakum

your gods

وَهُم

wahum

And they

بِذِكۡرِ

bidhik'ri

at (the) mention

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ

al-rahmani

(of) the Most Gracious

هُمۡ

hum

[they]

كَٰفِرُونَ

kafiruna

(are) disbelievers

٣٦

21:37

خُلِقَ

khuliqa

Is created

ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ

al-insanu

the man

مِنۡ

min

عَجَلٖۚ

ajalin

haste

سَأُوْرِيكُمۡ

sa-urikum

I will show you

ءَايَٰتِي

ayati

My Signs

فَلَا

fala

so (do) not

تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونِ

tasta'jiluni

ask Me to hasten

٣٧

21:38

وَيَقُولُونَ

wayaquluna

And they say

مَتَىٰ

mata

When (will be fulfilled)

هَٰذَا

hadha

this

ٱلۡوَعۡدُ

al-wa'du

promise

إِن

كُنتُمۡ

kuntum

you are

صَٰدِقِينَ

sadiqina

truthful

٣٨

21:39

لَوۡ

law

يَعۡلَمُ

ya'lamu

knew

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

those who

كَفَرُواْ

kafaru

disbelieved

حِينَ

hina

(the) time

لَا

(when) not

يَكُفُّونَ

yakuffuna

they will avert

عَن

from

وُجُوهِهِمُ

wujuhihimu

their faces

ٱلنَّارَ

al-nara

the Fire

وَلَا

wala

and not

عَن

from

ظُهُورِهِمۡ

zuhurihim

their backs

وَلَا

wala

and not

هُمۡ

hum

they

يُنصَرُونَ

yunsaruna

will be helped

٣٩

21:40

بَلۡ

bal

Nay

تَأۡتِيهِم

tatihim

it will come to them

بَغۡتَةٗ

baghtatan

unexpectedly

فَتَبۡهَتُهُمۡ

fatabhatuhum

and bewilder them

فَلَا

fala

then not

يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ

yastati'una

they will be able

رَدَّهَا

raddaha

to repel it

وَلَا

wala

and not

هُمۡ

hum

they

يُنظَرُونَ

yunzaruna

will be given respite

٤٠

21:41

وَلَقَدِ

walaqadi

And verily

ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ

us'tuh'zi-a

were mocked

بِرُسُلٖ

birusulin

Messengers

مِّن

min

before you

قَبۡلِكَ

qablika

before you

فَحَاقَ

fahaqa

then surrounded

بِٱلَّذِينَ

bi-alladhina

those who

سَخِرُواْ

sakhiru

mocked

مِنۡهُم

min'hum

from them

مَّا

what

كَانُواْ

kanu

they used

بِهِۦ

bihi

at it

يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

yastahziuna

(to) mock

٤١

21:42

قُلۡ

qul

Say

مَن

man

Who

يَكۡلَؤُكُم

yakla-ukum

(can) protect you

بِٱلَّيۡلِ

bi-al-layli

in the night

وَٱلنَّهَارِ

wal-nahari

and the day

مِنَ

mina

from

ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِۚ

al-rahmani

the Most Gracious

بَلۡ

bal

Yet

هُمۡ

hum

they

عَن

from

ذِكۡرِ

dhik'ri

(the) remembrance

رَبِّهِم

rabbihim

(of) their Lord

مُّعۡرِضُونَ

mu'riduna

turn away

٤٢

21:43

أَمۡ

لَهُمۡ

lahum

have they

ءَالِهَةٞ

alihatun

gods

تَمۡنَعُهُم

tamna'uhum

(to) defend them

مِّن

min

from

دُونِنَاۚ

dunina

لَا

Not

يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ

yastati'una

they are able

نَصۡرَ

nasra

(to) help

أَنفُسِهِمۡ

anfusihim

themselves

وَلَا

wala

and not

هُم

hum

they

مِّنَّا

minna

from Us

يُصۡحَبُونَ

yus'habuna

can be protected

٤٣

21:44

بَلۡ

bal

Nay

مَتَّعۡنَا

matta'na

We gave provision

هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ

haulai

(to) these

وَءَابَآءَهُمۡ

waabaahum

and their fathers

حَتَّىٰ

hatta

until

طَالَ

tala

grew long

عَلَيۡهِمُ

alayhimu

for them

ٱلۡعُمُرُۗ

al-'umuru

the life

أَفَلَا

afala

Then do not

يَرَوۡنَ

yarawna

they see

أَنَّا

anna

that We

نَأۡتِي

nati

We come

ٱلۡأَرۡضَ

al-arda

(to) the land

نَنقُصُهَا

nanqusuha

We reduce it

مِنۡ

min

from

أَطۡرَافِهَآۚ

atrafiha

its borders

أَفَهُمُ

afahumu

So is (it) they

ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ

al-ghalibuna

(who will be) overcoming

قُلۡ

qul

Say

إِنَّمَآ

innama

Only

أُنذِرُكُم

undhirukum

I warn you

بِٱلۡوَحۡيِۚ

bil-wahyi

by the revelation

وَلَا

wala

But not

يَسۡمَعُ

yasma'u

hear

ٱلصُّمُّ

al-sumu

the deaf

ٱلدُّعَآءَ

al-du'aa

the call

إِذَا

idha

when

مَا

when

يُنذَرُونَ

yundharuna

they are warned

٤٥

21:46

وَلَئِن

wala-in

And if

مَّسَّتۡهُمۡ

massathum

نَفۡحَةٞ

nafhatun

a whiff

مِّنۡ

عَذَابِ

adhabi

(the) punishment

رَبِّكَ

rabbika

(of) your Lord

لَيَقُولُنَّ

layaqulunna

surely they will say

يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ

yawaylana

O woe to us

إِنَّا

inna

Indeed we

كُنَّا

kunna

[we] were

ظَٰلِمِينَ

zalimina

wrongdoers

٤٦

21:47

وَنَضَعُ

wanada'u

And We set

ٱلۡمَوَٰزِينَ

al-mawazina

the scales

ٱلۡقِسۡطَ

al-qis'ta

(of) the justice

لِيَوۡمِ

liyawmi

for (the) Day

ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ

al-qiyamati

(of) the Resurrection

فَلَا

fala

so not

تُظۡلَمُ

tuz'lamu

will be wronged

نَفۡسٞ

nafsun

any soul

شَيۡـٔٗاۖ

shayan

(in) anything

وَإِن

wa-in

And if

كَانَ

kana

(there) be

مِثۡقَالَ

mith'qala

weight

حَبَّةٖ

habbatin

(of) a seed

مِّنۡ

min

خَرۡدَلٍ

khardalin

a mustard

أَتَيۡنَا

atayna

We will bring

بِهَاۗ

biha

[with] it

وَكَفَىٰ

wakafa

And sufficient

بِنَا

bina

(are) We

حَٰسِبِينَ

hasibina

(as) Reckoners

٤٧

21:48

وَلَقَدۡ

walaqad

And verily

ءَاتَيۡنَا

atayna

We gave

مُوسَىٰ

musa

Musa

وَهَٰرُونَ

waharuna

and Harun

ٱلۡفُرۡقَانَ

al-fur'qana

the Criterion

وَضِيَآءٗ

wadiyaan

and a light

وَذِكۡرٗا

wadhik'ran

and a Reminder

لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ

lil'muttaqina

for the righteous

٤٨

21:49

ٱلَّذِينَ

alladhina

Those who

يَخۡشَوۡنَ

yakhshawna

fear

رَبَّهُم

rabbahum

their Lord

بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ

bil-ghaybi

in the unseen

وَهُم

wahum

and they

مِّنَ

mina

ٱلسَّاعَةِ

al-sa'ati

the Hour

مُشۡفِقُونَ

mush'fiquna

(are) afraid

٤٩

21:50

وَهَٰذَا

wahadha

And this

ذِكۡرٞ

dhik'run

(is) a Reminder

مُّبَارَكٌ

mubarakun

blessed

أَنزَلۡنَٰهُۚ

anzalnahu

which We (have) revealed

أَفَأَنتُمۡ

afa-antum

Then are you

لَهُۥ

lahu

of it

مُنكِرُونَ

munkiruna

rejecters
