۞وَٱتۡلُ
Watlu
And recite
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
ʻalayhim
to them
نَبَأَ
naba
the story
ٱبۡنَيۡ
ʹabna
(of) two sons
ءَادَمَ
ʹAadama
(of) Adam
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bilḥaq̣q̣.
in truth
إِذۡ
ʹIẓ
when
قَرَّبَا
q̣arrabaa
both offered
قُرۡبَانٗا
q̣urbaanañ
a sacrifice
فَتُقُبِّلَ
fatuq̣ubbila
and it was accepted
مِنۡ
min
from
أَحَدِهِمَا
ʹaḥadihimaa
one of them
وَلَمۡ
wa-lam
and not
يُتَقَبَّلۡ
yutaq̣abbal
was accepted
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡأٓخَرِ
ʹaakhar.
the other
قَالَ
Q̣aala
Said (the latter)
لَأَقۡتُلَنَّكَۖ
laʹaq̣tulannak.
Surely I will kill you
قَالَ
Q̣aala
Said (the former)
إِنَّمَا
ʹinnamaa
Only
يَتَقَبَّلُ
yataq̣abbalul
accepts
ٱللَّهُ
laahu
(does) Allah
مِنَ
minal
from
ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ
Muttaq̣een.
the God fearing
