4:88
۞فَمَا
fama
So what
لَكُمۡ
lakum
(is the matter) with you
فِي
fi
concerning
ٱلۡمُنَٰفِقِينَ
al-munafiqina
the hypocrites (that)
فِئَتَيۡنِ
fi-atayni
(you have become) two parties
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
While Allah
أَرۡكَسَهُم
arkasahum
cast them back
بِمَا
bima
for what
كَسَبُوٓاْۚ
kasabu
they earned
أَتُرِيدُونَ
aturiduna
Do you wish
أَن
an
that
تَهۡدُواْ
tahdu
you guide
مَنۡ
man
whom
أَضَلَّ
adalla
is let astray
ٱللَّهُۖ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُضۡلِلِ
yud'lili
is let astray
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(by) Allah
فَلَن
falan
then never
تَجِدَ
tajida
will you find
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
a way
٨٨
4:89
وَدُّواْ
waddu
They wish
لَوۡ
law
if
تَكۡفُرُونَ
takfuruna
you disbelieve
كَمَا
kama
as
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
they disbelieved
فَتَكُونُونَ
fatakununa
and you would be
سَوَآءٗۖ
sawaan
alike
فَلَا
fala
So (do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhidhu
take
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
أَوۡلِيَآءَ
awliyaa
allies
حَتَّىٰ
hatta
until
يُهَاجِرُواْ
yuhajiru
they emigrate
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِۚ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
تَوَلَّوۡاْ
tawallaw
they turn back
فَخُذُوهُمۡ
fakhudhuhum
seize them
وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ
wa-uq'tuluhum
and kill them
حَيۡثُ
haythu
wherever
وَجَدتُّمُوهُمۡۖ
wajadttumuhum
you find them
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَتَّخِذُواْ
tattakhidhu
take
مِنۡهُمۡ
min'hum
from them
وَلِيّٗا
waliyyan
any ally
وَلَا
wala
and not
نَصِيرًا
nasiran
any helper
٨٩
4:90
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَصِلُونَ
yasiluna
join
إِلَىٰ
ila
[to]
قَوۡمِۭ
qawmin
a group
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
وَبَيۡنَهُم
wabaynahum
and between them
مِّيثَٰقٌ
mithaqun
(is) a treaty
أَوۡ
aw
or
جَآءُوكُمۡ
jaukum
those who come to you
حَصِرَتۡ
hasirat
restraining
صُدُورُهُمۡ
suduruhum
their hearts
أَن
an
that
يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ
yuqatilukum
they fight you
أَوۡ
aw
or
يُقَٰتِلُواْ
yuqatilu
they fight
قَوۡمَهُمۡۚ
qawmahum
their people
وَلَوۡ
walaw
And if
شَآءَ
shaa
(had) willed
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لَسَلَّطَهُمۡ
lasallatahum
surely He (would have) given them power
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
over you
فَلَقَٰتَلُوكُمۡۚ
falaqatalukum
and surely they (would have) fought you
فَإِنِ
fa-ini
So if
ٱعۡتَزَلُوكُمۡ
i'tazalukum
they withdraw from you
فَلَمۡ
falam
and (do) not
يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ
yuqatilukum
fight against you
وَأَلۡقَوۡاْ
wa-alqaw
and offer
إِلَيۡكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلسَّلَمَ
al-salama
[the] peace
فَمَا
fama
then not
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
(has) made
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
against them
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
a way
٩٠
4:91
سَتَجِدُونَ
satajiduna
You will find
ءَاخَرِينَ
akharina
others
يُرِيدُونَ
yuriduna
wishing
أَن
an
that
يَأۡمَنُوكُمۡ
yamanukum
they be secure from you
وَيَأۡمَنُواْ
wayamanu
and they be secure from
قَوۡمَهُمۡ
qawmahum
their people
كُلَّ
kulla
Everytime
مَا
ma
that
رُدُّوٓاْ
ruddu
they are returned
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱلۡفِتۡنَةِ
al-fit'nati
the temptation
أُرۡكِسُواْ
ur'kisu
they are plunged
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
into it
فَإِن
fa-in
So if
لَّمۡ
lam
not
يَعۡتَزِلُوكُمۡ
ya'tazilukum
they withdraw from you
وَيُلۡقُوٓاْ
wayul'qu
and offer
إِلَيۡكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلسَّلَمَ
al-salama
[the] peace
وَيَكُفُّوٓاْ
wayakuffu
and they restrain
أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ
aydiyahum
their hands
فَخُذُوهُمۡ
fakhudhuhum
then seize them
وَٱقۡتُلُوهُمۡ
wa-uq'tuluhum
and kill them
حَيۡثُ
haythu
wherever
ثَقِفۡتُمُوهُمۡۚ
thaqif'tumuhum
you find them
وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكُمۡ
wa-ulaikum
And those
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
We made
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
against them
سُلۡطَٰنٗا
sul'tanan
an authority
مُّبِينٗا
mubinan
clear

4:92
وَمَا
wama
And not
كَانَ
kana
is
لِمُؤۡمِنٍ
limu'minin
for a believer
أَن
an
that
يَقۡتُلَ
yaqtula
he kills
مُؤۡمِنًا
mu'minan
a believer
إِلَّا
illa
except
خَطَـٔٗاۚ
khata-an
(by) mistake
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
قَتَلَ
qatala
killed
مُؤۡمِنًا
mu'minan
a believer
خَطَـٔٗا
khata-an
(by) mistake
فَتَحۡرِيرُ
fatahriru
then freeing
رَقَبَةٖ
raqabatin
(of) a slave
مُّؤۡمِنَةٖ
mu'minatin
believing
وَدِيَةٞ
wadiyatun
and blood money
مُّسَلَّمَةٌ
musallamatun
(is to be) paid
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
to
أَهۡلِهِۦٓ
ahlihi
his family
إِلَّآ
illa
unless
أَن
an
that
يَصَّدَّقُواْۚ
yassaddaqu
they remit (as) charity
فَإِن
fa-in
But if
كَانَ
kana
(he) was
مِن
min
from
قَوۡمٍ
qawmin
a people
عَدُوّٖ
aduwwin
hostile
لَّكُمۡ
lakum
to you
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and he was
مُؤۡمِنٞ
mu'minun
a believer
فَتَحۡرِيرُ
fatahriru
then freeing
رَقَبَةٖ
raqabatin
(of) a believing slave
مُّؤۡمِنَةٖۖ
mu'minatin
believing
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
كَانَ
kana
(he) was
مِن
min
from
قَوۡمِۭ
qawmin
a people
بَيۡنَكُمۡ
baynakum
between you
وَبَيۡنَهُم
wabaynahum
and between them
مِّيثَٰقٞ
mithaqun
(is) a treaty
فَدِيَةٞ
fadiyatun
then blood money
مُّسَلَّمَةٌ
musallamatun
(is to be) paid
إِلَىٰٓ
ila
to
أَهۡلِهِۦ
ahlihi
his family
وَتَحۡرِيرُ
watahriru
and freeing
رَقَبَةٖ
raqabatin
(of) a slave
مُّؤۡمِنَةٖۖ
mu'minatin
believing
فَمَن
faman
And whoever
لَّمۡ
lam
(does) not
يَجِدۡ
yajid
find
فَصِيَامُ
fasiyamu
then fasting
شَهۡرَيۡنِ
shahrayni
(for) two months
مُتَتَابِعَيۡنِ
mutatabi'ayni
consecutively
تَوۡبَةٗ
tawbatan
(seeking) repentance
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
Allah
وَكَانَ
wakana
and is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَلِيمًا
aliman
All-Knowing
حَكِيمٗا
hakiman
All-Wise
٩٢
4:93
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَقۡتُلۡ
yaqtul
kills
مُؤۡمِنٗا
mu'minan
a believer
مُّتَعَمِّدٗا
muta'ammidan
intentionally
فَجَزَآؤُهُۥ
fajazauhu
then his recompense
جَهَنَّمُ
jahannamu
(is) Hell
خَٰلِدٗا
khalidan
abiding forever
فِيهَا
fiha
in it
وَغَضِبَ
waghadiba
and will fall the wrath
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(of) Allah
عَلَيۡهِ
alayhi
on him
وَلَعَنَهُۥ
wala'anahu
and He (will) curse him
وَأَعَدَّ
wa-a'adda
and He has prepared
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
عَذَابًا
adhaban
a punishment
عَظِيمٗا
aziman
great
٩٣
4:94
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
yaayyuha
O you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
who
ءَامَنُوٓاْ
amanu
believe[d]
إِذَا
idha
When
ضَرَبۡتُمۡ
darabtum
you go forth
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
فَتَبَيَّنُواْ
fatabayyanu
then investigate
وَلَا
wala
and (do) not
تَقُولُواْ
taqulu
say
لِمَنۡ
liman
to (the one) who
أَلۡقَىٰٓ
alqa
offers
إِلَيۡكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلسَّلَٰمَ
al-salama
(a greeting of) peace
لَسۡتَ
lasta
You are not
مُؤۡمِنٗا
mu'minan
a believer
تَبۡتَغُونَ
tabtaghuna
seeking
عَرَضَ
arada
transitory gains
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
al-hayati
(of) the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
فَعِندَ
fa'inda
for with
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَغَانِمُ
maghanimu
(are) booties
كَثِيرَةٞۚ
kathiratun
abundant
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhalika
Like that
كُنتُم
kuntum
you were
مِّن
min
from
قَبۡلُ
qablu
before
فَمَنَّ
famanna
then conferred favor
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
فَتَبَيَّنُوٓاْۚ
fatabayyanu
so investigate
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
بِمَا
bima
of what
تَعۡمَلُونَ
ta'maluna
you do
خَبِيرٗا
khabiran
All-Aware
٩٤

4:95
لَّا
la
Not
يَسۡتَوِي
yastawi
(are) equal
ٱلۡقَٰعِدُونَ
al-qa'iduna
the ones who sit
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
غَيۡرُ
ghayru
other than
أُوْلِي
uli
the ones (who are)
ٱلضَّرَرِ
al-darari
[the] disabled
وَٱلۡمُجَٰهِدُونَ
wal-mujahiduna
and the ones who strive
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
bi-amwalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡۚ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
فَضَّلَ
faddala
Preferred
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(has) Allah
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
al-mujahidina
the ones who strive
بِأَمۡوَٰلِهِمۡ
bi-amwalihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمۡ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
عَلَى
ala
to
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
al-qa'idina
the ones who sit
دَرَجَةٗۚ
darajatan
(in) rank
وَكُلّٗا
wakullan
And (to) all
وَعَدَ
wa'ada
promised
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(has) Allah
ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ
al-hus'na
the best
وَفَضَّلَ
wafaddala
preferred
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
(has) Allah
ٱلۡمُجَٰهِدِينَ
al-mujahidina
the ones who strive
عَلَى
ala
over
ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ
al-qa'idina
the ones who sit
أَجۡرًا
ajran
(with) a reward
عَظِيمٗا
aziman
great
٩٥
4:96
دَرَجَٰتٖ
darajatin
Ranks
مِّنۡهُ
min'hu
from Him
وَمَغۡفِرَةٗ
wamaghfiratan
and forgiveness
وَرَحۡمَةٗۚ
warahmatan
and mercy
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمًا
rahiman
Most Merciful
٩٦
4:97
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those whom
تَوَفَّىٰهُمُ
tawaffahumu
take them (in death)
ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
al-malaikatu
the Angels
ظَالِمِيٓ
zalimi
(while) they (were) wronging
أَنفُسِهِمۡ
anfusihim
themselves
قَالُواْ
qalu
they say
فِيمَ
fima
In what (condition)
كُنتُمۡۖ
kuntum
were you
قَالُواْ
qalu
They said
كُنَّا
kunna
We were
مُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ
mus'tad'afina
oppressed
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ
al-ardi
the earth
قَالُوٓاْ
qalu
They said
أَلَمۡ
alam
Not
تَكُنۡ
takun
was
أَرۡضُ
ardu
(the) earth
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
وَٰسِعَةٗ
wasi'atan
spacious (enough)
فَتُهَاجِرُواْ
fatuhajiru
so that you (could) emigrate
فِيهَاۚ
fiha
in it
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
Then those
مَأۡوَىٰهُمۡ
mawahum
(will have) their abode
جَهَنَّمُۖ
jahannamu
(in) Hell
وَسَآءَتۡ
wasaat
and it is an evil
مَصِيرًا
masiran
destination
٩٧
4:98
إِلَّا
illa
Except
ٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ
al-mus'tad'afina
the oppressed
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلرِّجَالِ
al-rijali
the men
وَٱلنِّسَآءِ
wal-nisai
and the women
وَٱلۡوِلۡدَٰنِ
wal-wil'dani
and the children
لَا
la
(who) not
يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
yastati'una
are able to
حِيلَةٗ
hilatan
plan
وَلَا
wala
and not
يَهۡتَدُونَ
yahtaduna
they are directed
سَبِيلٗا
sabilan
(to) a way
٩٨
4:99
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulaika
Then those
عَسَى
asa
may be
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
أَن
an
will
يَعۡفُوَ
ya'fuwa
pardon
عَنۡهُمۡۚ
anhum
[on] them
وَكَانَ
wakana
and is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَفُوًّا
afuwwan
Oft-Pardoning
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
٩٩
4:100
۞وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُهَاجِرۡ
yuhajir
emigrates
فِي
fi
in
سَبِيلِ
sabili
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
(of) Allah
يَجِدۡ
yajid
will find
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
مُرَٰغَمٗا
muraghaman
place(s) of refuge
كَثِيرٗا
kathiran
many
وَسَعَةٗۚ
wasa'atan
and abundance
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَخۡرُجۡ
yakhruj
leaves
مِنۢ
min
from
بَيۡتِهِۦ
baytihi
his home
مُهَاجِرًا
muhajiran
(as) an emigrant
إِلَى
ila
to
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasulihi
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يُدۡرِكۡهُ
yud'rik'hu
overtakes him
ٱلۡمَوۡتُ
al-mawtu
[the] death
فَقَدۡ
faqad
then certainly
وَقَعَ
waqa'a
(became) incumbent
أَجۡرُهُۥ
ajruhu
his reward
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱللَّهِۗ
al-lahi
Allah
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
١٠٠
4:101
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
ضَرَبۡتُمۡ
darabtum
you travel
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
al-ardi
the earth
فَلَيۡسَ
falaysa
then not
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
جُنَاحٌ
junahun
(is) any blame
أَن
an
that
تَقۡصُرُواْ
taqsuru
you shorten
مِنَ
mina
[of]
ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
al-salati
the prayer
إِنۡ
in
if
خِفۡتُمۡ
khif'tum
you fear
أَن
an
that
يَفۡتِنَكُمُ
yaftinakumu
(may) harm you
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُوٓاْۚ
kafaru
disbelieved
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
al-kafirina
the disbelievers
كَانُواْ
kanu
are
لَكُمۡ
lakum
for you
عَدُوّٗا
aduwwan
an enemy
مُّبِينٗا
mubinan
open

4:102
وَإِذَا
wa-idha
And when
كُنتَ
kunta
you are
فِيهِمۡ
fihim
among them
فَأَقَمۡتَ
fa-aqamta
and you lead
لَهُمُ
lahumu
for them
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
فَلۡتَقُمۡ
faltaqum
then let stand
طَآئِفَةٞ
taifatun
a group
مِّنۡهُم
min'hum
of them
مَّعَكَ
ma'aka
with you
وَلۡيَأۡخُذُوٓاْ
walyakhudhu
and let them take
أَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۖ
aslihatahum
their arms
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
Then when
سَجَدُواْ
sajadu
they have prostrated
فَلۡيَكُونُواْ
falyakunu
then let them be
مِن
min
from
وَرَآئِكُمۡ
waraikum
behind you
وَلۡتَأۡتِ
waltati
and let come (forward)
طَآئِفَةٌ
taifatun
a group
أُخۡرَىٰ
ukh'ra
other
لَمۡ
lam
(which has) not
يُصَلُّواْ
yusallu
prayed
فَلۡيُصَلُّواْ
falyusallu
and let them pray
مَعَكَ
ma'aka
with you
وَلۡيَأۡخُذُواْ
walyakhudhu
and let them take
حِذۡرَهُمۡ
hidh'rahum
their precautions
وَأَسۡلِحَتَهُمۡۗ
wa-aslihatahum
and their arms
وَدَّ
wadda
Wished
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
كَفَرُواْ
kafaru
disbelieved
لَوۡ
law
if
تَغۡفُلُونَ
taghfuluna
you neglect
عَنۡ
an
[about]
أَسۡلِحَتِكُمۡ
aslihatikum
your arms
وَأَمۡتِعَتِكُمۡ
wa-amti'atikum
and your baggage
فَيَمِيلُونَ
fayamiluna
so (that) they (can) assault
عَلَيۡكُم
alaykum
[upon] you
مَّيۡلَةٗ
maylatan
(in) an attack
وَٰحِدَةٗۚ
wahidatan
single
وَلَا
wala
But (there is) no
جُنَاحَ
junaha
blame
عَلَيۡكُمۡ
alaykum
upon you
إِن
in
if
كَانَ
kana
was
بِكُمۡ
bikum
with you
أَذٗى
adhan
any trouble
مِّن
min
(because) of
مَّطَرٍ
matarin
rain
أَوۡ
aw
or
كُنتُم
kuntum
you are
مَّرۡضَىٰٓ
marda
sick
أَن
an
that
تَضَعُوٓاْ
tada'u
you lay down
أَسۡلِحَتَكُمۡۖ
aslihatakum
your arms
وَخُذُواْ
wakhudhu
but take
حِذۡرَكُمۡۗ
hidh'rakum
your precautions
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
أَعَدَّ
a'adda
has prepared
لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
lil'kafirina
for the disbelievers
عَذَابٗا
adhaban
a punishment
مُّهِينٗا
muhinan
humiliating
١٠٢
4:103
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
Then when
قَضَيۡتُمُ
qadaytumu
you (have) finished
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
فَٱذۡكُرُواْ
fa-udh'kuru
then remember
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
قِيَٰمٗا
qiyaman
standing
وَقُعُودٗا
waqu'udan
and sitting
وَعَلَىٰ
wa'ala
and (lying) on
جُنُوبِكُمۡۚ
junubikum
your sides
فَإِذَا
fa-idha
But when
ٱطۡمَأۡنَنتُمۡ
it'manantum
you are secure
فَأَقِيمُواْ
fa-aqimu
then establish
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ
al-salata
the (regular) prayer
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
al-salata
the prayer
كَانَتۡ
kanat
is
عَلَى
ala
on
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
al-mu'minina
the believers
كِتَٰبٗا
kitaban
prescribed
مَّوۡقُوتٗا
mawqutan
(at) fixed times
١٠٣
4:104
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَهِنُواْ
tahinu
be weak
فِي
fi
in
ٱبۡتِغَآءِ
ib'tighai
pursuit
ٱلۡقَوۡمِۖ
al-qawmi
(of) the people
إِن
in
If
تَكُونُواْ
takunu
you are
تَأۡلَمُونَ
talamuna
suffering
فَإِنَّهُمۡ
fa-innahum
then indeed they
يَأۡلَمُونَ
yalamuna
are (also) suffering
كَمَا
kama
like what
تَأۡلَمُونَۖ
talamuna
you are suffering
وَتَرۡجُونَ
watarjuna
while you (have) hope
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
مَا
ma
what
لَا
la
not
يَرۡجُونَۗ
yarjuna
they hope
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَلِيمًا
aliman

١٠٤
4:105
إِنَّآ
inna
Indeed
أَنزَلۡنَآ
anzalna
We (have) sent down
إِلَيۡكَ
ilayka
to you
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
al-kitaba
the Book
بِٱلۡحَقِّ
bil-haqi
with the truth
لِتَحۡكُمَ
litahkuma
so that you may judge
بَيۡنَ
bayna
between
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the people
بِمَآ
bima
with what
أَرَىٰكَ
araka
has shown you
ٱللَّهُۚ
al-lahu
Allah
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تَكُن
takun
be
لِّلۡخَآئِنِينَ
lil'khainina
for the deceitful
خَصِيمٗا
khasiman
a pleader

وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِ
wa-is'taghfiri
And seek forgiveness
ٱللَّهَۖ
al-laha
(of) Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
كَانَ
kana
is
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
١٠٦
4:107
وَلَا
wala
And (do) not
تُجَٰدِلۡ
tujadil
argue
عَنِ
ani
for
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhina
those who
يَخۡتَانُونَ
yakhtanuna
deceive
أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ
anfusahum
themselves
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
لَا
la
(does) not
يُحِبُّ
yuhibbu
love
مَن
man
(the one) who
كَانَ
kana
is
خَوَّانًا
khawwanan
treacherous
أَثِيمٗا
athiman
(and) sinful
١٠٧
4:108
يَسۡتَخۡفُونَ
yastakhfuna
They seek to hide
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلنَّاسِ
al-nasi
the people
وَلَا
wala
but not
يَسۡتَخۡفُونَ
yastakhfuna
(can) they hide
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱللَّهِ
al-lahi
Allah
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
مَعَهُمۡ
ma'ahum
(is) with them
إِذۡ
idh
when
يُبَيِّتُونَ
yubayyituna
they plot by night
مَا
ma
what
لَا
la
not
يَرۡضَىٰ
yarda
(does) he approve
مِنَ
mina
of
ٱلۡقَوۡلِۚ
al-qawli
the word
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
بِمَا
bima
of what
يَعۡمَلُونَ
ya'maluna
they do
مُحِيطًا
muhitan
All-Encompassing
١٠٨
4:109
هَٰٓأَنتُمۡ
haantum
Here you are
هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
haulai
those who
جَٰدَلۡتُمۡ
jadaltum
[you] argue
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
for them
فِي
fi
in
ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ
al-hayati
the life
ٱلدُّنۡيَا
al-dun'ya
(of) the world
فَمَن
faman
but who
يُجَٰدِلُ
yujadilu
will argue
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(with) Allah
عَنۡهُمۡ
anhum
for them
يَوۡمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ
al-qiyamati
(of) [the] Resurrection
أَم
am
or
مَّن
man
who
يَكُونُ
yakunu
will be
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
alayhim
[over them]
وَكِيلٗا
wakilan
(their) defender
١٠٩
4:110
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَعۡمَلۡ
ya'mal
does
سُوٓءًا
suan
evil
أَوۡ
aw
or
يَظۡلِمۡ
yazlim
wrongs
نَفۡسَهُۥ
nafsahu
his soul
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَسۡتَغۡفِرِ
yastaghfiri
seeks forgiveness
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
(of) Allah
يَجِدِ
yajidi
he will find
ٱللَّهَ
al-laha
Allah
غَفُورٗا
ghafuran
Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٗا
rahiman
Most Merciful
١١٠
4:111
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَكۡسِبۡ
yaksib
earns
إِثۡمٗا
ith'man
sin
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innama
then only
يَكۡسِبُهُۥ
yaksibuhu
he earns it
عَلَىٰ
ala
against
نَفۡسِهِۦۚ
nafsihi
his soul
وَكَانَ
wakana
And is
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
عَلِيمًا
aliman
All-Knowing
حَكِيمٗا
hakiman
All-Wise
١١١
4:112
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَكۡسِبۡ
yaksib
earns
خَطِيٓـَٔةً
khatiatan
a fault
أَوۡ
aw
or
إِثۡمٗا
ith'man
a sin
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
يَرۡمِ
yarmi
throws
بِهِۦ
bihi
it
بَرِيٓـٔٗا
barian
(on) an innocent
فَقَدِ
faqadi
then surely
ٱحۡتَمَلَ
ih'tamala
he (has) burdened (himself)
بُهۡتَٰنٗا
buh'tanan
(with) a slander
وَإِثۡمٗا
wa-ith'man
and a sin
مُّبِينٗا
mubinan
manifest
